I used this business for an oil change for the first time in 2024. The service wasn't exceptional but was good enough to go back to them in 2025 for the same service. I regretted it. After doing the oil change, there was a problem with a system light being constantly on when I left the business which wasn't an issue before. Called the owner who told me to come back another day at a particular time; which I did. When I got there, I was told to come back later in the day as the only person who could address the situation was out to lunch. When I returned, the guy who was to fix the problem had an indifferent attitude to my situation, did something with a handheld device and said the problem was resolved. When I got in the car, it wasn't. The owner suggested that I drive the car and it will go away, which I insisted that I wasn't going to do. He also suggested I give his employee extra money as a tip and rushing me to get out so that other vehicles can get in to be serviced (It's a small service area). I insisted that the situation had to be resolved before leaving, but I will not patronize that business again. I will resume going to the Audi dealership where I usually go. I don't like poor service and being hustled for money when I already paid for a service and the technicians created a service problem that wasn't there before. read more

I have used this auto repair shop due to my proximity to work and each year when I ask for an inspection they give me a hard time about scheduling it; because they can't make money off a 15. minute inspection; despite having spent thousands of dollars in repairs over the last five years. I think it makes good business sense to treat repeat customers well not push them off and tell them to call back each day. FORGET IT. Customer Service rots. I am over this place. read more

When I was living in Clinton Hill, I would take my car here for regular stuff like oil change, annual inspection, etc... The last time I took it here for an oil change, I was told that the threading in the oil pan was gone; they were able to seal it using a slightly larger screw, but likely I would need a new pan at the next oil change. They said to keep an eye for leakages[1], as this could potentially be dangerous. I appreciated that they didn't try to push for a new pan right away, but instead they were able to fix the problem. So, for the next oil change, even though I don't live in Clinton Hill any more, I came back. I called ahead, they told me that they would order the oil pan for me and they could take care of the car the following morning. Which is exactly what happened: When I arrived the oil pan was already there, and a mechanic took care of replacing it[2], changing the oil, and making sure everything was fine. I liked how the charges were clear, such as labor rates, replacement parts, etc... And I enjoyed interacting with both the mechanics and the owner. A couple of days later I received a call from the mechanic head telling me to stop by, as the mechanic who installed the oil pan wanted to make sure everything with it was fine. Something they do for all their customers when they have to change the pan, apparently. I stopped by later that day, they put the car on the bridge, checked that everything was good, and I was on my way in five minutes. Now, that's what I call great customer service! Recently I came back for the annual inspection, and I was in and out in ten minutes. I'm a happy customer. -------------- [1] Spoiler alert: There weren't any. Went there for an oil change. The team there was kind. They didn't have the oil needed for my car, and got it from a supplier in one hour. The bill for the oil change service was so high. They said it's because my car needed a special oil for my German car. My car never had any trouble from any other oil change places. The owner lowered the total charge to "a regular oil change cost" but it was a little bit higher than other places. But I trust that they used better quality oil. The owner also told me about other businesses he was running, and I liked the conversation. read more

Had to quickly find a shop to get my car inspection updated on a Sunday during a holiday weekend (no easy task), and came across this shop in my searches. George and his staff were friendly and took care of the inspection so quickly, and even put air in my tires as well. Nice staff, the owner is nice too. I took my Jeep in, they diagnosed and fixed the problem, and it took them only 20-30 minutes to finish the job. This place is so awesome... The men who own it are so polite and respectful. I called a day before to make sure they could fit me in and the man was delightful on the phone...he was like bring it in anytime. I just came in for a tire repair replacement...it was a good price and done in less than 2 hours and that was with needing to get the tire from somewhere else. I would definitely come in again for other services... They are responsible, honest and just very nice.... If there is something wrong with your car come in for excellent service...with auto body shops t's very hard to find honesty these days. read more

I've gone there several times and the treatment from the one of the owners George is outright disgusting. The shop has a contract with the city so he treats other customers with less priority as if we're not paying also. The mechanics are decent, but the experience dealing with George isn't worth it. read more

Incredibly rude. I just called to ask if I could get an estimate over the phone. I know what the job is that needs to be done and this was the third place I've called. The other two places were able to give a rough estimate. Give the current circumstances of Covid-19, we're supposed to be limiting face to face interaction. The guy who answered said "I can't give an estimate over the phone. I've never heard of that" without ever asking me anything and then hung up on me. read more

This is my first and last experience here. I go to the shop and I spoke to a mechanic there beforehand about getting my front brake pads replaced and if they would be able to do it today. He told me yes they can do it today, to which I responded, I'll return in 10 minutes because I had my children in the car and wanted to drop them home first(he agreed). I returned and shortly there after the same gentlemen began to work on my car. He was very pleasant and the staff members there seemed nice as well. While waiting I had a brief and friendly conversation with a gentleman called Ivan who introduced himself as the owner. Everything was going pretty well at this point would've been a 5 star review. So the mechanic completes the job and takes the car off the lift. At this point it's just the mechanic and I. So I asked him how much would it be and where do I pay. He gave me the price and told me I can pay him. I tried paying in cash but he didn't have change and offered to go to a local grocery store to retrieve change for me. He instructed me to pull the car out to the front of the business and he'll be back. As I begin to do that, Ivan the owner reappears and wanted me to speak with me, to which I lowered my window and engaged in conversation. He asked me if I had paid and why would I pay the mechanic. He was very aggressive and insulting. He called me stupid on various occasions and said I'm the worst kind of person. I tried to have a civil, respectful conversation with Ivan but he refused to be reasonable and by far this is the worse customer experience I've ever had anywhere. I explained to Ivan I'm a customer with ZERO knowledge on his shops policies and quite frankly as the customer it's not my responsibility to know what his check out process is. I did the right thing I asked for the price and where do I pay. If you Ivan sir want to handle all transactions you do not insult and attempt to belittle the customer for your lack of management skills. You as the owner have to be clear with your staff that all transactions are to be referred to you, it's that simple! If the mechanic would've told me to go see you for payment or go to window A of section B etc. As a paying customer I would've followed directions. Ivan refused payment for the job and told me to never return. At no point was I rude, insulting or unwilling to pay. His actions were way out of line and even if I would've have been able to talk sense into the owner I had no desire to return to his business. read more

Upon arrival, I was told the guys want to go home and that they couldn't help me. It was on a Sunday, so I understand people may not want work weekends, but then don't post your hours saying open till 5pm and tell people to come in over the phone the same day.
