Liars, they lie about what they say is wrong with your car, do unnecessary things to your car and overcharge you! Too many other places in brooklyn to chose from. Also I field fraud charges to my credit card company for work they said they did, they flat out lied to my credit card company about it. Dirty liars!!! Didn't fix what i brought my car in for and charged me $1,600 for "electrical work" they never fixed. read more

I had a terrible experience at this shop and would strongly caution others. They attempted to charge me over $3,500 for unnecessary repairs and were deceptive about their qualifications to service my vehicle. The mechanic lacked basic knowledge about turbo engines, making it clear they had no expertise with this type of car. I also felt that the front desk staff and owner may have been trying to take advantage of me as a young woman by attempting to charge me such an obscene amount for a simple diagnostic (close to $400...) This place is dishonest and untrustworthy--stay away. read more

New Millennium Motors are the best! They are always professional, kind, prompt, efficient, affordable and trustworthy. I've brought my cars there for a really long time and have referred others there too. The mechanics are excellent and the customer service is great. As always, thank you for the great service! read more

I recently made New Millennium my mechanic after using Pep Boys for about a year and they are awesome. Really nice, affordable, and helpful. I recently had a light in my dash go on while I was driving back to Brooklyn from Nashville, TN, and thinking it was my oil pressure light, I pulled over on the highway in the middle of nowhere in TN. I called New Millennium and Maria and Javier worked with me over the phone to determine if it was safe to drive my car (it was). They saved me a couple hundred in towing fees and were so helpful in a stressful situation. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

I was charged $260 for front rotors and $80 for front brake pads. This was insane. I did not really have a say because my car was already on the jack in mid air, the tires were off, and I also needed my inspection done. If I declined the installation, I would have failed the inspection and had to pay for it anyway. A mechanic friend of mine took a look at the rotors that were installed and said that he could've gotten the same ones for 1/3 of the cost. They clearly took advantage of an uneducated consumer. Labor is understandable at $100+ an hr. Inspection was $37 - standard price. Only reason I give a 2 star instead of a 1 star is because the owner seemed nice and the work was done within the same day. read more

I have been a customer for many years of New Mellenium motors, and can say without reservation, that I have never had the pleasure of dealing with a more reliable or honest purveyor of automibile services in my lifetime, and I've lived for 77 years and been driving for 61 of them. Do yourself a favor and experience truly quality automobile service at a reasonable price! read more

Family owned and operated honest and of course excellent service. Everything you want in from your mechanic!

I have been using New Millennium Motors for years. Reliable and honest. He knows that I want the repairs done right and he has never given me back a car that had any problems. Over the years he has also take care of issues that behave arisen from defective parts, he replaced an AC compressor that he replaced on my 2005 Honda that lasted only 8 months for free since it was under the replacement part warrenty. I have recommended Andreas to friends and they all are happy with him. Wonderful shop. Another bonus, there is a Citibike station on his corner so it is easy for me to drop off the car and get back home. read more

I have knocking sound coming from my engine at cold start. I took my car here. They told me the oil level was low and that's why the engine made the knocking sound at cold start. They refilled the oil with one quart of oil and sound has gone away. That's what they said and charged me 153$ for basically refilling the oil. The next day I cold start the car and it makes the same knocking sound. I called them, told them that they didn't fix the issue. They told me I should bring the car in so they can further investigate the problem. I said sure, so you can charge me another 153$ for nothing? No way, I'll take my care to a different shop. So this is the professionalism that you can read on all the five star reviews. Oh and another thing. I left a one start review on their website. And guess what, it did not appear on the site. Looking on the reviews on their website, all of them are five stars, there are 700+ reviews, all five stars. Not a single four star. Surely you can have a 5.0 review out of 700+ reviews if you let only five stars reviews on your site. Anyway they are unprofessional and clearly incompetent. Stay away. read more

New Millennium Motors - Auto Repair Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I was referring to mr. Andreas Car Shop " New Millenium Motors " about a year ago and have been taking my car there since , one time I took my car to the dealer for a service big mistake they were on able to tell me why my check engine light was on and they had the car three days. The next following week I took the car to Mr. Andreas and he was able to tell me the problem in one hour, just to give you an idea how good he is i've always had a great experience read more

I recently discovered the hard way (read: by getting a ticket) that the inspection on my car had expired about 10 days ago. Being the law-abiding citizen that I am and certainly not wanting to risk additional financial liability, I made a point of quickly remedying the situation. I don't really have "a guy" in the area who I go to for car stuff. I tend to go to a place in Sheepshead Bay for most of my auto work, but they're not open on Saturdays, so I took to Yelp and found New Millennium. I called and Andreas, the owner, was polite and told me that if I came right away, he could probably have the car back in less than an hour. Short story even shorter, Andreas is a great guy, honest, and runs a nice shop. He did my inspection in about 45 mins and instilled enough faith in me that I will gladly bring my car back to him when I need actual repairs done. Repair shops are a dime a dozen in the Gowanus area, so to have honed in on one that is legit and reliable is a real relief. I recommend New Millennium without reservation, particularly if it's for routine stuff like an inspection. read more

I've been going to New Millenium Motors for more than twenty years. They've always been reliable in every way. This year I've brought my car in before a few long road trips and they continue to be warm, gracious and most importantly super attentive to whatever my car needs. read more

So I went to go see Andreas after struggling to get an appointment with Roland for my Saab. I am so happy with their work. I was last time too. I have been getting tickets for an expired inspection and needed to get that code fixed right away, plus some other repairs. My car now runs like I first bought it. He even gave me a temporary inspection so I wouldn't get a ticket. I had strut fixed, tires replaced, a wiring issue giving me a code, fluid changes etc. and a temporary inspection. I forgot how good these guys were and my bad for trying to go to Roland -- Who by the way, I took it to get the code fixed two weeks ago and I received it with the code still tripping. When I called and left a message to make another appointment with Roland, all I got back were crickets. Saab owners should just come here! These guys are awesome and soooo easy to work with. read more

Not only did they not fix our issue, they messed up our car. We originally came to this place last year with air conditioning problem. It all started with them saying we also needed oil change, when we had just changed oil less than 2 weeks prior. Red flag right there. But the reviews were good and we live in the area, so we decided to give them a shot. Their mechanic diagnosed malfunctioning compressor, even though there was no issue with the pressure or the flow. The air just wasn't cold. We purchased the new compressor from FCP Euro. Then the mechanic said he had to keep putting more and more freon, which they charged us an arm and a leg for after they had already done that. AC still wasn't blowing cold air after all this. We went back the very same day and all they could say "Well, we don't know; we diagnosed the compressor and changed it; we don't know why it didn't work". They wanted to change yet another expensive part, but we decided to cut our losses. Now our Volvo mechanic says this new compressor is shot, because it was overflowing with freon. These Millennium people overloaded the new compressor. So their incompetence is still costing us a lot of money. Do not come here, if you are looking for a good mechanic. All they do is try to get as much money as possible before you wise up to their tricks. read more

Love this place. A friend recommended them about 3 years ago. What a find. My 2000 BMW 323I is so well taken care of, they really know their business. Andreas and his staff are all very much appreciated. So many places will try and take advantage of women with their cars, but this is the most trustworthy place I have ever been to. read more

Great great shop! Just moved to the area and had a excellent experience here. Great communication. And Andreas even talked me out of doing some repairs because I could wait! Call ahead and schedule an appointment. read more

What an awesome shop! I arrived right when it opened (08:00) and needed a NY State Inspection done. Andreas had me on my way in under 45min! The cost was $37 cash pass or fail. New Millennium is outstanding - Andreas is as honest as they come, and he runs a clean and efficient shop. What's better is his customer service: Andy will tell you exactly what you need and what you don't need. And he strives to have your job done same day. His prices are fair and his estimates reliable. Recently, we were ended (hard) and our car needed to be towed. But it was a Sunday and New Millennium was closed. Nonetheless, Andy agreed to meet us there and took the car in. We were back on the road in less than a week and he worked with the insurance adjusters directly. I have been a loyal customer for 6-7 years and couldn't think of a better shop in the Park Slope area. read more

We were travelling approximately 800 miles from home and had a breakdown which rendered the car undriveable. My husband knew generally what was wrong. As we were in Brooklyn for a wedding we went to our mobile phone to find repair shops for Mercedes. Mr. Stylianou answered the phone and said they were quite busy but to bring it in and he would check it out. Could not ask for better service, thorough diagnosis and repair. Above all he is honest! He knew we needed to get to our destination, fixed our problem and told us when we got home to have our local repair shop check out another part which he said would be fine until we got home. My husband and I were so impressed with New Millennium Motors. So lucky his shop popped up on our phone - Many thanks! read more

Andreas is excellent at what he does. An honest and outstanding diagnostician and just overall great guy. Was able to diagnose the dreaded 'check engine' light on my very old Toyota that now runs like new. So glad that I found this company. read more

Andreas, the owner, has been servicing my cars since I moved into Park Slope in 1983. I live in dread that he may some day decide to retire and move back to his native Greece. He runs a clean shop with mechanics who know what they are doing. Prices are completely fair. Andreas is more likely to talk you out of something than to sell you anything unnecessary and more likely to hunt around for rebuilt units than to sell you new parts at inflated dealer prices. When he needs to send you elsewhere (e.g., alarm installation), it will only be to somebody he trusts to work the same way he does. read more

I love this place. I started going here about a year ago after three years of awful service at Mihns. The guy who runs the place is honest and fair. It has been years since I could say I trusted my mechanic but Andy, the owner, is great. He even found something wrong with my car and since he had already given me an estimate fixed the additional problem and didn't charge me for it. read more

Not a huge fan of this place. I went in for a simple oil change. The guy I dealt with talked me into using some unnecessary high-end synthetic oil for an eight year old Mazda that I'm sure didn't need it. I asked for an estimate, but the dude was resistant to giving me a quote, saying he wasn't sure how much oil I would need. When I finally got back he hit me with a $90 bill FOR AN OIL CHANGE. Would have been better off trying to deal with the crooks at Jiffy Lube. The hunt for an honest mechanic continues... read more
