Asked a young man, not a teenager, where the Coolant Tester was. He said he's never heard of it and they didn't have it. Another gentleman came up and asked if I needed help. Yes, I need a Coolant Tester. He walked back and brought it to me. I did show it to the younger man to show they did have it and that's what it looked like. No apology from him for not attempting to look it up. I hope I made a point to try and actually help a customer, like the other gentleman did. read more

Second time I've been in somewhat recently and the sales tags the have on their shelves for motor oils can't be scanned in their systems. Right now they have a full synthetic Castro Oil quart buy one at $12.99 and get a second for $7.99 but they could not scan it in to reflect the discount. The manager was attempting to resolve it but ended up just walking away. Not willing to give me a credit on it to use at a later date either. I asked them to please remove the sticker from the shelf so other people wouldn't be frustrated by this. I ended up purchasing just a single quart. I should have just gone elsewhere but pressed for time and it already took too long waiting for them to try to figure it out. read more

I'm happy to share that this is my go to place when I need help with my car even before going to a mechanic they seem to know what they are talking about with cars and even though they are not getting paid to tell me what's wrong with my car they are always very nice and attentive at this auto zone. I sometimes just come around for accessories for my car and just kind of tell them theirs a noise in my car and they end up telling me what I should do read more

Horrible service, kid on the phone thinks he's a real tough guy. Simply just trying to buy a battery and I'm getting treated like it's an inconvenience read more

I am basing this review on the amazing service I received from ALBERT at this location when I came in seeking assistance with windshield wiper issues on a GLK. Albert went above and beyond to assist me and made me feel like such a valued customer. His great, positive attitude in addition to his efficiency - I was taken aback. What a great asset to the company and I will ensure I support this particular location because of that amazing service I received from Albert - thanks again! read more

Update 09/29/2019 Thanks FERNANDO and DIEGO for assisting me today with my wiper blades. Diego you are a hoot!!! Great personality, friendly service and a pleasure to speak with. Another good experience here with great staff. I passed 3 Auto Zones before stoping by today and that's because I feel welcomed here and get great customer service. Best Auto Zone!!!! Friendly staffs, lots of products and stuff on sales.... I don't know much about cars and stuff but I know how to shop!!! I found what I wanted and know if I ever need anything or have car questions I feel comfortable coming back here and asking the staff! I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who helped me find the B12 fuel injector but I'll remember him when I come back. I now have a newer vehicle and the injunction stuffs don't go as it's all high tech and stuff when fueling gas so I need someoneto make the actual process of adding the stuff to my gas tank less messy. I'm be back soon to ask for help and won't feel like a dumb dumb for not asking in the first place. read more

Workers very lazy in checking my battery, and tried telling me my alternator was faulty even though they didn't even check it. Not a friendly environment and bare minimum at customer service. read more

The young women that work there are very attentive and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond..., I usually have to drive it another store if they don't have my part there. But, the women request the part to be delivered to store closest to me and that is huge.. All the women are an asset to the company. Thank you!! read more

AutoZone workers go out of their way especially this little guy who work glasses his name is Chris he was awesome he came out and helped me and gave me wonderful service I didn't even have to go pick out my parts he went and got them for me so if anyone's listening this young man is a great employee and needs to be rewarded read more

I purchase 4ea. NGK Spark plugs for a Honda Accord and after installing all 4 the car started funny and the check engine light came on. Come to find out the Spark plugs were defected. I should've notice the package was a bit dented like if it was thrown or fallen to the ground. I try to returns then and show the sale rep and manager where it was defected. the manager said it wasn't her problem and that they couldn't exchange it or refund me my money. this is truly some BS.... i will be filing a lawsuit against Autozone as a company for selling defected (damage parts) at least they could've exchange it. never the least don't buy from them or read carefully if the parts have warranty. i normally don't buy from them but it was a emergency. protect your MONEY!!!! read more

Lilly! was an amazing manager that helped me. extremely recommend this AutoZone. amazing customer service and great deals

I went to this location to buy a small part for my car. I asked one the guys at the register about the part and where I can find it, he said look in aisle 6. I went to the aisle, but couldn't find the part I needed. I went back to him and asked if he could help me find it, he said just go look in aisle 6. Not very good customer service and that is why I'm giving it ** only. read more

This location recently open. It is much larger than some of the other Autozones I have been to. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/autozone-spring-valley-2?select=MkUW3-lFsAC0PdfivbWSFA#1fN-1j-uUPk7zzQDY0DsCg) I stopped by to pick up a can of Armor All Ultra Shine Protectant Wipes for my interior of my car, specifically my dash board, that receives a lot of sunshine. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/autozone-spring-valley-2?select=MkUW3-lFsAC0PdfivbWSFA#B-bcoEG8wccdhgFbGFNRZA) I like these convenient containers with 25 wipes. They are easy to store, clean up, and dispose of, and for $4.69, a relatively good deal considering the convenience. Sometimes they go on sale for under $4.00. They carry a variety of car cleaning products, so they are many to choose from. The employees were attentive and several ask me if I needed help. The place was well stocked and organized.(http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/autozone-spring-valley-2?select=MkUW3-lFsAC0PdfivbWSFA#b2WyvjLCChfROiy8w16YAA) read more

Huge thank you to Diego for helping us figure out our battery/alternator issue today, and taking the time to look up our previous battery purchase. My husband bought a new battery online before we got here, only to realize the problem is the alternator not the battery... but my battery was only at 50% charge since the alternator wasn't helping. Diego looked into it and saw our battery was still under warranty. So we got a replacement for my car under the warranty, and switched out the battery we purchased for one that would fit my husband's Jeep! We needed one before Desert season anyway! He was very friendly and thorough too! read more

Difference between two auto parts stores is the customer service. Walk in and asked if my car battery can be checked. " No there is only 2 of us here and we can leave the store". So no help there. I left and went to O'Reilly Auto parts where they too had only 2 employees and a line of customers but that did not stop them from helping .. all of us as I was not the only one there for a battery. They checked my battery and installed it. Wow big difference! Thank Auto Zone for sending me to O'Reilly for better service! read more

Worst place I've ever worked for. Terrible management and even worse staff. Only good people were Carlos and Lily

Ordered a part online. 2 weeks later I recieved a box with the correct part information and the WRONG PART!!!! After my car was taken apart and we realized it wasn't the right part we took it into autozone. The guy who was lucky enough to ask can he help me told me this is typical of the company. I was offered a refund as they do not have the part I ordered anywhere in stock or from vendors at the moment. So I feel like they sent me a part knowing it wasn't right but wanted to fill the order. I was offered no future discount once my card refunds In 3 business days. No solution no alternative. Just sorry.... here's your money you have to wait for. Meanwhile I have no cash to buy the part or a car to drive to get to work. Ty Autozone. Oh called o rileys they will call me in 2 hours when the part is delivered (the right part) thank God for credit cards!!! read more

The worst auto zone store to do business with. They are incompetent and rude, " especially a guy who first claimed to be the store manager," Jose" in explaining my problem of being sold the wrong part. He not only lied when I asked to confirm his position with the store, but he denied being the manager. Be aware that this store does not have competent, curtious members ( store manager) representing the store. THEY SUCK! read more

the tall hispanic employee with black curly like hair is an idiot. i told him three times that my vehicle is a 2006 toyota fourrunner. he kept having issues not finding my vehicle, he then asks his coworker why he cant find a ford four runner. i again had to tell him, its a toyota... he then instructs me to the part that i need to later find out that he directed me to the wrong god damn part. can you guys hire these idiots that didnt barely graduate highschool. the other employee Juan D. helped and even shown me the screen numerous times during my return transaction. at least this guy is ATTENTIVE. read more

The little girl Andrea that works there. I would say is the biggest problem. Without even looking up my car information she by some miracle told me she didn't have what I needed and there's no way to tell me what the part I'm looking for is called. However, I go down the road to O'Reily's and they found it within seconds AND ordered it for delivery for me. Little girl needs to fix her ghetto attitude. You work at Auto Zone your not that special. There's a reason y'all got sued. read more

I had the best experience at this location at AutoZone!!! I don't know how to install a car battery and quite frankly I don't want to learn how to install a car battery on YouTube, I bought my car battery here, they gave me a pretty fair price, Keith an AutoZone employee installed my car battery for me at no extra charge. Keith and the entire staff was very professional and most of all polite. The store is clean and organized and to top that off they greeted me at the door. I will tell all of my friends about my experience at AutoZone on Campo Road. read more

I asked if they can lend me what I need to remove the battery and they said "No, we can't help you" the manager is very rude and won't help you even if he already knows your going to spend over $100 at his store. -first words out of managers mouth "I can't help you" - manager is rude and has no customer service skills - sales repressive that was there was the only helpful one, but because of the manager I will not go to this autozone again! -only gave one star because I have to but this place doesn't deserve it! read more

AutoZone Auto Parts - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Spring Valley, California

They have terrible customer service and just stand around shuffling their feet to look like they're actually doing something productive. We asked them where the oil was and if they had a specific brand. Their response? No. No we don't carry that brand of oil. Really? Then tell me why after searching high and low for it, we found it. Thanks for nothing. It's amazing that all these lazy/crappy workers can get jobs while hard working people are struggling for an interview. read more

I used to live next to auto zone on el cajon blvd, I love autozone, they have huge parking lot so people can work on their cars. This was my first time at this autozone, the parking lot is huge like every other autozone location. I bought some antifreeze, orange hand cleaners and a funnel, total price 21 dollars. I've been going to autozone for a long time so I had 20 dollars in points! I ended up paying 1 dollar I will surely come back here, it's cheaper than the store down the street... Won't say who because they are not bad also The service here was great they greeted ASAP and helped us find our products, we didn't have to ask them for help... They asked us if we needed help. Awesome place, great service, low prices, great reward program Don't forget to sign up for your autozone card to earn your 20 dollars in store credit! read more

Service is so bad here and customer service is not their strong point. I do not recommend this AutoZone to anyone.

Had to come in for a headlight. Simple enough fix, I've done this repair myself over the years. Easy peasy , right? Nope. I did need a bit of assistance and Eusebio was my hero today. Above and beyond trying to help me out and in the end my lights work great!!! Thanks man I appreciate your help this evening. Stay coolio;) read more

I went there to check my car battery. They seem very reluctant to help out. Customer service was not very good like that they don't want to be there. When a worker took my battery out to charge it, he lost my screw, and he said "well, I still have this one", like he did not care that he lost my screw. They were not very helpful and definitely not professional. I will not recommend this place to shop. read more

For some reason whenever we need a part and are told that it will be in by 1pm the next day it is never there. Ordered a part Friday at 8am and was told it will be there by 1pm Sat. I said is it best for us to call because you guys have a habit of my parts coming late. He said yes sometimes fedex runs a little behind. So we waited til Sunday morning and guess what?!?! NO PART. They tell us it will. Ow be in at noon today but to call first. I could have ordered on amazon and had it next day, I could have gone to oreilly's and pick it up at a different store if needed. I just happened to need something off the shelf so decided to give them a final chance on ordered parts. This was the final chance for autozone for us. We have so many auto stores in our area that going to autozone is not worth the headache and run around. And to add to the joy of this store unless they are talking directly to you it is a Spanish only store. Make sure you know Spanish cause who knows what they are saying behind your back. read more

Customer service on point. Eusebio and Diego were so helpful. Thank you for help and knowledge.
