I have been calling for 3 days to talk to a service advisor. I bought a 1500 Silverado and need some maintenance done on it. No one calls back, when doing the online chat "terrance" doesnt even read the replies. There phone number listed on their google sight rings then immediately hangs up. I am aware the maintenance I need will be way over $1000.00 I was hoping to go to the dealer in my neighborhood. After reading the reviews and just trying to do business with them I will not be going to this establishment. Their are several other dealerships that will take my money. read more

I had another shop do the repair and paid out of my pocket for a warranty repair. i would give them a lower rating than F and that is being too generous! Excellent experience. We had visited multiple dealerships looking for the perfect Rav 4, including Toyota dealerships, and our sales person, Lesley, outshined everyone. She responded to my online inquiry within minutes, even sending me a personalized video of the car , and then on the test drive , and afterwards, outlining all of the features of the vehicle.. others should take notes of this skill , it's incredibly helpful! Sedano took open advantage of an elderly disabled man with impaired language and comprehension from a severe stroke on social security. On Thursday, April 8, my boyfriend signed paperwork totaling $62,000 for a used truck. My boyfriend is disabled, with clearly audible speech and reading comprehension issues that are immediately evident. When I spent 7 hours there in person on Friday, the very next day, explaining that the signature of an individual with limited capacity could NOT be valid, both the sales and finance managers kept continuing to sell us different deals and defending their position. Sedano refused to accept a letter from my boyfriend's Speech and Cognitive therapist stating the medical nature of his condition, stating: "How do we know you didn't just make up this form?" That was incredibly offensive. If this isn't resolved very soon, we will be forced to hire a lawyer who will undoubtedly ask in compensation far more than simply cancelling a contract. There are many other places that sell cars. Do NOT go to this one, or any of the other Sedano owned dealerships. read more

If you ever need to get your vehicle serviced at Sedano Chevrolet, you wanna make sure one thing. NEVER work with Trevor Bacon. I don't know how he even has a job because not only was he rude and unethical, but he LIES. I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday and when I called to check on it Monday midday they hadn't even looked at it. They say they have loaner vehicles, but this is far from True. The reality is they'll give you a five dollar lift to a rental car place where you're expected to put a $300 deposit and my case because of the number of days over $360 just for the rental. I'm sorry but over $1000 for Service +600 something dollars for Rental is not what I call taking care of the customer. Trevor Bacon did not call me back on Monday. When he called me Tuesday morning around 10:15 AM he said my car will be ready at 4 PM. Now I live in Point Loma and the dealership is in Santee. This is over 45 minutes drive one way. At 3:22 PM he sent me a text that said the car would not be ready till 10 or 11 AM the next day. This is already after I got all the way to Santee. I can't speak for anyone else at the dealership, but this guy was terrible. I had to get Mr. Saul Sedano involved who was very professional and nice. But even after all the unnecessary stress confusion and lies from Trevor Bacon. One of the issues that I brought up when I dropped the car off for service he never wrote it down on his service sheet. Then he had the nerve to try to tell me that I never brought it up. Basically calling me a liar. I looked in my car and found proof of a little piece of paper I wrote with a list of things I wanted them to service. Even after showing him that my display screen was showing in action unavailable message due to a phantom touch as of something was touching the screen, but nothing was. Instead of trying to make it right he just wanted to argue. I don't get upset easily, but he really tested my patience. I'm very surprised that Mr. Sedano has someone like Trevor Bacon representing his company because he did absolutely nothing to 'take care of the customer'. He had one excuse after the next. And when I asked him to have a car ready for me by the time, I got there he said no problem but when I arrived, it took 20 minutes for him to surface, then I was put in a Lyft and brought to a nearby enterprise. He told me everything was paid for and taken care of, but that was another Lie, at enterprise they required me to put a deposit on my card and I'm really just trying to understand how a service Advisor, who said he had been there for six years still has a job. Bottom line avoid Trevor Bacon at all cost.. that guy is terrible at his job, made me, the customer more upset than I already was. And he's lucky that I take prescription medication to manage my stress and impulse levels. So after after six days of my car being at the dealership, I asked him about the display, he made it seem like I never brought it up when I dropped it off, when he clearly either wasn't listening or isn't even care about my concerns. Then at the end, after Mr. Sedano provided an out the door price that we agreed on, Trevor tried to charge me $18 surcharge. I showed him the email from Mr. Sedano and he's still, Argued with me about the surcharge. In the end, my vehicle still has issues on the display and he had the nerve to try to make another appointment for service with me. I was like no thank you, never coming here again! I literally cannot be subjected to that kind of stress, disrespect, and complete. Disregard for my time or anything.! now I have to schedule a new service appointment to get resolution on an issue I told him about when I dropped it off. read more

I scheduled the service online for $174.99, which included an oil change, tire rotation, and over 30 additional inspections. When I arrived, the advisor named Matt told me it would cost around $240. After I showed him the details from their own website, he agreed to honor the advertised price and perform the full inspection. A few minutes after I handed over the keys, he returned saying that three dashboard warning lights had turned on, even though my truck had none before I arrived. The lights appeared right after he connected a diagnostic scanner. When I mentioned this, he said "that's not my problem" and tried to charge me an extra $240 for a diagnostic check. I spoke with the manager, Mr. Solano, who refused to clear the codes or take responsibility, even though it happened inside their facility. In the end, they only performed the oil change and tire rotation, without completing the full 97,500-mile inspection, yet charged the full price. The process took over three and a half hours, and the customer service was poor and unprofessional. I've visited Bob Stall Chevrolet in La Mesa multiple times, where I always receive transparent and excellent service, but Sedano Chevrolet has been, without question, the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I do not recommend this place due to dishonesty, poor service, and lack of customer care. I'm writing this review on behalf of my sister. She purchased a vechical from Mission Bay Chevrolet, now Sedano Chevrolet. She took her vechical in for a routine service on January 22, 2026. Mind you, she had no problems prior to the service. She picked her vechical up that evening with no problems. 24 hours later on her way to a function, the car simply shut off and it continued to shut off three more time. Once while in motion. She returned the vechical to service today. January 26, 2026, only to be told they would have to retain her vechical for an additional 2 or 3 days. She was offered nothing for her hardship and inconvenience. Her car was fine prior to the service. So you make the mistake and I pay the price? That is the epitome of bad service. When asked if she could get a loaner, the answer was; oh no! We don't do that. I won't mention the exorbitant amount she rendered for bad service. When the dealer creates the problem, the customer SHOULD NOT carry all of the burden. She should not be left without a vechical while they figure out their mistake.
