I went so San Diego from Corona to check out some Tahoe's and Suburban's. I left a dealership about 16 miles from Sedano feeling defeated as that dealership did NOT want to work with me. This dealership was on my list to visit, but it wasn't for the Suburban I originally wanted. HOWEVER, when I arrived it was a pleasant change from the prior dealership. I spoke with John who was the internet consultant I had been working with. He handed me off to Joyce and I couldn't have been happier! She was so patient, understanding and just an all around nice lady who made my experience wonderful. I went in looking at the Tahoe Premier because that is what stood out. After seeing it, Joyce and her manager were able to knock off an additional $500 from the price along with increasing my used car amount from $6k to $6.5k after being told it was only worth about $5800. Although I had an offer from two other companies (One being CarMax) for around $8 - $8.6k, I took the offer as I didn't want to drive two cars home. Also, seeing as how the last dealership offered me only $2k for my 2015 Durango in good condition with 101k miles. After a while, I really wanted the Suburban so as they were crunching the numbers I found one on their lot that I really liked. It wasn't the Premier, but to me the only option that I NEEDED were the Captain's Chairs for the second row. This LT was black on black (which I LOVE), had the 22" black wheel package, comfort package and black lettering package and priced just a bit higher than the Tahoe. I took it for a test drive and fell in love. When I got back, I asked John for their best offer and they matched the $4k discount the Tahoe offered even though it was already discounted at $2800. Also, there were NO additional add ons which was much more attractive, so we shook hands and the deal was done. So much easier than the other dealership (side note, that dealership was so petty they were bad mouthing Sedano as I left. Very insecure on their part. No COURTESY at all). From start to finish, Sedano hands down helped me out and made sure all of my needs were met. They were all super friendly and continued to help me after I left their dealership. I was so excited about the Suburban that I purchased the extended warranty without doing my due diligence (I'm the type to do all my research prior to a big purchase). After thinking about it more and doing some research I decided to cancel knowing I would not receive the refund but rather it would be deducted from my principal. Shockingly, the finance department was able to remove that cost from my original deal and redo the deal. I was surprisingly shocked. Couldn't be more excited about my experience. read more

Sedano took open advantage of an elderly disabled man with impaired language and comprehension from a severe stroke on social security. On Thursday, April 8, my boyfriend signed paperwork totaling $62,000 for a used truck. My boyfriend is disabled, with clearly audible speech and reading comprehension issues that are immediately evident. When I spent 7 hours there in person on Friday, the very next day, explaining that the signature of an individual with limited capacity could NOT be valid, both the sales and finance managers kept continuing to sell us different deals and defending their position. Sedano refused to accept a letter from my boyfriend's Speech and Cognitive therapist stating the medical nature of his condition, stating: "How do we know you didn't just make up this form?" That was incredibly offensive. If this isn't resolved very soon, we will be forced to hire a lawyer who will undoubtedly ask in compensation far more than simply cancelling a contract. There are many other places that sell cars. Do NOT go to this one, or any of the other Sedano owned dealerships. read more

If you ever need to get your vehicle serviced at Sedano Chevrolet, you wanna make sure one thing. NEVER work with Trevor Bacon. I don't know how he even has a job because not only was he rude and unethical, but he LIES. I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday and when I called to check on it Monday midday they hadn't even looked at it. They say they have loaner vehicles, but this is far from True. The reality is they'll give you a five dollar lift to a rental car place where you're expected to put a $300 deposit and my case because of the number of days over $360 just for the rental. I'm sorry but over $1000 for Service +600 something dollars for Rental is not what I call taking care of the customer. Trevor Bacon did not call me back on Monday. When he called me Tuesday morning around 10:15 AM he said my car will be ready at 4 PM. Now I live in Point Loma and the dealership is in Santee. This is over 45 minutes drive one way. At 3:22 PM he sent me a text that said the car would not be ready till 10 or 11 AM the next day. This is already after I got all the way to Santee. I can't speak for anyone else at the dealership, but this guy was terrible. I had to get Mr. Saul Sedano involved who was very professional and nice. But even after all the unnecessary stress confusion and lies from Trevor Bacon. One of the issues that I brought up when I dropped the car off for service he never wrote it down on his service sheet. Then he had the nerve to try to tell me that I never brought it up. Basically calling me a liar. I looked in my car and found proof of a little piece of paper I wrote with a list of things I wanted them to service. Even after showing him that my display screen was showing in action unavailable message due to a phantom touch as of something was touching the screen, but nothing was. Instead of trying to make it right he just wanted to argue. I don't get upset easily, but he really tested my patience. I'm very surprised that Mr. Sedano has someone like Trevor Bacon representing his company because he did absolutely nothing to 'take care of the customer'. He had one excuse after the next. And when I asked him to have a car ready for me by the time, I got there he said no problem but when I arrived, it took 20 minutes for him to surface, then I was put in a Lyft and brought to a nearby enterprise. He told me everything was paid for and taken care of, but that was another Lie, at enterprise they required me to put a deposit on my card and I'm really just trying to understand how a service Advisor, who said he had been there for six years still has a job. Bottom line avoid Trevor Bacon at all cost.. that guy is terrible at his job, made me, the customer more upset than I already was. And he's lucky that I take prescription medication to manage my stress and impulse levels. So after after six days of my car being at the dealership, I asked him about the display, he made it seem like I never brought it up when I dropped it off, when he clearly either wasn't listening or isn't even care about my concerns. Then at the end, after Mr. Sedano provided an out the door price that we agreed on, Trevor tried to charge me $18 surcharge. I showed him the email from Mr. Sedano and he's still, Argued with me about the surcharge. In the end, my vehicle still has issues on the display and he had the nerve to try to make another appointment for service with me. I was like no thank you, never coming here again! I literally cannot be subjected to that kind of stress, disrespect, and complete. The lights appeared right after he connected a diagnostic scanner. When I mentioned this, he said "that's not my problem" and tried to charge me an extra $240 for a diagnostic check. I spoke with the manager, Mr. Solano, who refused to clear the codes or take responsibility, even though it happened inside their facility. In the end, they only performed the oil change and tire rotation, without completing the full 97,500-mile inspection, yet charged the full price. The process took over three and a half hours, and the customer service was poor and unprofessional. I've visited Bob Stall Chevrolet in La Mesa multiple times, where I always receive transparent and excellent service, but Sedano Chevrolet has been, without question, the worst dealership experience I've ever had. They saved me so much time, so I own a Hummer and have struggled to get its services and recalls handled at other dealerships. For a couple of reasons like needing a certified EV tech, and not having the proper lifts. So my truck would stay in other shops for weeks. But not here at Sedano Chevrolet, they took care of it within 4 days and provided a rental. It was hassle free, since they have multiple certified EV techs. Mind you, she had no problems prior to the service. She picked her vechical up that evening with no problems. 24 hours later on her way to a function, the car simply shut off and it continued to shut off three more time. Once while in motion. She returned the vechical to service today. January 26, 2026, only to be told they would have to retain her vechical for an additional 2 or 3 days. She was offered nothing for her hardship and inconvenience. Her car was fine prior to the service. So you make the mistake and I pay the price? That is the epitome of bad service. When asked if she could get a loaner, the answer was; oh no! We don't do that. I won't mention the exorbitant amount she rendered for bad service. When the dealer creates the problem, the customer SHOULD NOT carry all of the burden. She should not be left without a vechical while they figure out their mistake.
