Second interaction with this dealership (service department). Similarly as my first interaction, the dealership was extremely professional, they fixed my truck still under warranty without going through all of the back and forth. Highly recommend this service department. Edgar and Saul were highly professional and attentive to my concerns. read more

We purchased our 2500 Silverado earlier this year from Brent at Sedano. Saul helped us out today and was amazing! He greeted us immediately upon arrival and quickly assisted us with fixing our front license plate that lost one of the mounting screws. Quick and easy fix, and no more rattling sound! It's so nice to have a quality and friendly dealership down the street in the neighborhood of Santee. Thanks Saul! read more

1 STAR -- I WOULD NOT TRUST SEDANO CHEVROLET WITH MY VEHICLE AGAIN Our experience with Sedano Chevrolet in Poway was absolutely unacceptable. We brought our Chevy Bolt EUV to them after numerous warning lights appeared on the dashboard. We were told that rats had chewed the main wiring harness and that the harness needed to be replaced. Because they attributed the damage to rodents, the repair was not covered under our new-car warranty. We paid more than $1,000 for what we understood was the necessary repair. Months later, the SAME problem happened again. This time, we took the Bolt to Mission Bay Auto. We gave them the receipt from the previous repair and asked them to inspect the vehicle and compare what had actually been done with what we had been told. What they found was infuriating. According to Mission Bay Auto's inspection, the wiring harness had NOT been replaced. Instead, they found one butt connector and tape used on the wiring. Think about that. We were told the main wiring harness needed replacement. We paid more than $1,000. Months later, another shop inspected the supposed repair and told us the harness had not been replaced. For a Chevrolet dealership working on a relatively new vehicle--especially an EV where electrical systems are obviously critical--this is beyond disappointing. Had the problem not returned, we might never have discovered what was actually done. I strongly recommend that anyone considering having their vehicle repaired at Sedano Chevrolet get everything in writing, keep every receipt, ask specifically what parts are being replaced, request the old parts back when possible, and consider having expensive repairs independently inspected afterward. We trusted a Chevrolet dealership to properly diagnose our vehicle, clearly explain the repair, and perform the work we believed we were paying for. That trust is completely gone. ONE STAR. If Yelp allowed zero, that would better reflect our experience. read more

I went so San Diego from Corona to check out some Tahoe's and Suburban's. I left a dealership about 16 miles from Sedano feeling defeated as that dealership did NOT want to work with me. This dealership was on my list to visit, but it wasn't for the Suburban I originally wanted. HOWEVER, when I arrived it was a pleasant change from the prior dealership. I spoke with John who was the internet consultant I had been working with. He handed me off to Joyce and I couldn't have been happier! She was so patient, understanding and just an all around nice lady who made my experience wonderful. I went in looking at the Tahoe Premier because that is what stood out. After seeing it, Joyce and her manager were able to knock off an additional $500 from the price along with increasing my used car amount from $6k to $6.5k after being told it was only worth about $5800. Although I had an offer from two other companies (One being CarMax) for around $8 - $8.6k, I took the offer as I didn't want to drive two cars home. Also, seeing as how the last dealership offered me only $2k for my 2015 Durango in good condition with 101k miles. After a while, I really wanted the Suburban so as they were crunching the numbers I found one on their lot that I really liked. It wasn't the Premier, but to me the only option that I NEEDED were the Captain's Chairs for the second row. This LT was black on black (which I LOVE), had the 22" black wheel package, comfort package and black lettering package and priced just a bit higher than the Tahoe. I took it for a test drive and fell in love. When I got back, I asked John for their best offer and they matched the $4k discount the Tahoe offered even though it was already discounted at $2800. Also, there were NO additional add ons which was much more attractive, so we shook hands and the deal was done. So much easier than the other dealership (side note, that dealership was so petty they were bad mouthing Sedano as I left. Very insecure on their part. No COURTESY at all). From start to finish, Sedano hands down helped me out and made sure all of my needs were met. They were all super friendly and continued to help me after I left their dealership. I was so excited about the Suburban that I purchased the extended warranty without doing my due diligence (I'm the type to do all my research prior to a big purchase). After thinking about it more and doing some research I decided to cancel knowing I would not receive the refund but rather it would be deducted from my principal. Shockingly, the finance department was able to remove that cost from my original deal and redo the deal. I was surprisingly shocked. Couldn't be more excited about my experience. read more

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Adrian for the excellent customer service he provided during our recent experience at Sedano Chevrolet. Adrian was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand our budget, our needs, and what we were looking for, and he helped us explore different options without ever being pushy or making us feel pressured. I especially appreciated how knowledgeable he was about the vehicles. I came in not really knowing exactly what I wanted, and Adrian was patient enough to walk me through different options and answer all of my questions along the way. He consistently followed up with us, but always in a respectful way. I genuinely felt like he was trying to help us find the right vehicle rather than simply trying to make a sale. Adrian really stood out to us, and I wanted to make sure his managers knew what a great experience he provided. He is professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his customers. Adrian is an asset to your team, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. read more

New dealership, same GM frustration. I took my Silverado to a trusted independent shop for a failing starter and an oil change. The truck had also been idling roughly, and the check engine light came on during the drive, so I asked them to look into that as well. They confirmed the starter needed replacement, which is understandable on a truck approaching 10 years old with 125,000 miles. They also diagnosed a serious fuel injector problem. Before calling me, they researched the issue and found GM Special Coverage Adjustment N182198000, which 100% applies to my truck's year and engine, with coverage extending to 10 years or 150,000 miles. They recommended taking it to a Chevrolet dealership to save me a substantial repair bill. I drove straight to Sedano Chevrolet and provided the diagnosis and coverage number. The representative was polite, but essentially told me that because the coverage wasn't listed under my specific VIN, there was nothing they could do. No further help or explanation was offered about why my truck wouldn't qualify. Same year, same model, same motor, same problem - no coverage. I appreciate that an independent shop took the time to research coverage and potentially save me money. I expected at least that level of effort from the dealership representing the manufacturer. After multiple frustrating experiences with GM on this vehicle, my patience is gone. My business is currently shopping for two high-end trucks, and this experience has assured me that neither will be a GM vehicle. read more

When I first went to Sedano Chevrolet, it was a fantastic experience. Joyce and her manager, Jose, reached out about my inquiry on a new Chevy Bolt. I went to their office and we worked out all the numbers, including tax and license fees and they printed it up for me. I told them I would return before the end of the month to pick it up. Three weeks later, I returned, but Joyce and Jose were not there. The salesperson looked up my previous visit and showed me numbers that were nearly $1,000 higher than what we had originally agreed upon. I showed him the paperwork with the original out-the-door price, but after checking with the manager, he still couldn't match it. I then went to look at the Bolt I was supposed to take home. It was sitting at the charger but was dirty. When I asked why it hadn't been cleaned, I didn't get a good answer. Back inside, the office we had been using was already occupied by another customer, so I had to retrieve my belongings from the room. I then watched the salesperson speak with the manager, who clearly wasn't happy. When I asked about the price difference, she simply said, "Well, it's only $143 difference." That was enough. I walked out, called another Chevrolet dealer, and they set me up right away. My first experience with Sedano Chevrolet was excellent. The second was the complete opposite and as terrible as you can imagine--an unbelievably disappointing experience. read more

Wow...welcome to the neighborhood and be called a liar!! Created an account, set up an appointment for my RST Silverado, 82.5k service at $151.95...got to the dealership, Tate, the service writer put the press on for another $1800.00 in service...told him I'd look it over another time, just wanted the service today scheduled at $152.00...Tate said i must have entered that my vehicle was a 4 cylinder, my price was going to be $200.00 minimum...I brought up the Sedano website, walked him through selecting the service, came up at the $151.95...he says there must be a problem "but they'll honor it this time"...i passed and spoke with the General Manger (Jose?) who said he would speak to the Service Manager later...I left as I had just wasted 30 minutes...poor service, not customer focused and certainly doesn't trust the customer read more

I had a great experience with Sedano Chevrolet in Santee! I've had leased my car for three years and recently purchased it. I noticed a really loud rattling sound and needed to have it checked out. I called three other dealerships and was told there would be a 3-4 day wait. Ly in the Parts Department was able to get me in right away without any hesitation and made the entire process fast and easy. Ly was incredibly helpful and even arranged a rental through Enterprise. Ly also called a Lyft to take me there. I was expecting to be without my car for a few days, but to my surprise, it was ready the very next morning! Saul was also extremely helpful throughout the process, and everyone I interacted with was attentive, professional, and genuinely willing to help. This is definitely going to be my go-to Chevrolet dealership moving forward. I highly recommend Sedano Chevrolet in Santee to anyone looking for great customer service and a team that truly cares about its customers. Thank you, Ly, Saul, and the entire team! read more

We just bought a brand new 2026 Chevy Traverse at Sedano Chevrolet in Santee and had a great experience. Our salesman Jorge was fantastic. Easy to work with, personable, and not pushy at all. He made the whole process smooth and comfortable. Roaster, the floor manager, and Brian in finance were also great. The whole team took good care of us and kept everything simple and straightforward. Outstanding experience at Sedona Chevrolet Service Department. After a frustrating situation at another dealership, Sedona Chevy immediately stepped in and did what a service department is supposed to do. They were professional, communicative, and quickly diagnosed multiple issues that should have been found during a basic service inspection elsewhere. They kept me informed throughout the process and, on top of that, provided a loaner vehicle so I wasn't left stranded -- which made a huge difference. This is how customer service should be done. I'll absolutely be bringing my vehicle back here and would highly recommend Sedona Chevrolet to anyone looking for a dealership that actually knows what they're doing and takes care of their customers. read more

Excellent experience. We had visited multiple dealerships looking for the perfect Rav 4, including Toyota dealerships, and our sales person, Lesley, outshined everyone. She responded to my online inquiry within minutes, even sending me a personalized video of the car , and then on the test drive , and afterwards, outlining all of the features of the vehicle.. others should take notes of this skill , it's incredibly helpful! Highly recommended, everyone we worked with was exceptional, Brian in finance as well, so helpful and made the experience stress free and enjoyable! read more

I have another review that I posted on Sedano Chevrolet before seeing this one. My experience with them. Everything I wrote there is true except for the miles that I thought they used. It wasn't many. Tate called me to apologize; I think that guy is good, but he's around lying and rude people. I went to the dealer again because he asked me to; he also apologized to me. Upon arrival, I was introduced to the manager, who was polite to me, invited me to his office, and after I told him how everything happened, he simply went out to confirm what happened. He made me feel like a liar with the questions he asked me, except for the miles that I thought they used when my car was in the shop there before; I was wrong about that, and I apologize. He told me the miles the car had when I bought it and mistakenly told me another amount, and I responded with the truth. He asked me to tell him what happened. He said I had the car for many months, but I replied only two months, but he made me leave his office and made me wait outside while he reviewed everything. He returned with another person and told me that person's opinion, which I disagreed with what he said, that of course, he was not being honest. I showed him evidence of the cat's paw prints, and he said maybe it was dust from when they drove the vehicle for air testing. And that's not true, but okay. I can be mistaken, but I do not lie; I am not a liar. The manager showed me videos of when I took the vehicle for repair, and it stated the amount of gas it had in miles, and that was a lie; he couldn't show me the time and day of the video. It had no gas, and there were paw prints all over my car's dashboard; that's strange because I don't have cats. Well, that's how it went; the manager didn't talk to me anymore; I think he's Latino. He never spoke Spanish with me, and I think that because someone spoke Spanish to him, and he didn't want to answer. I don't know; he didn't apologize to me or say goodbye. I just didn't see him anymore. I felt bad; he didn't explain anything else to me; he just wanted to inform me that I was wrong. And he knows well that I corrected him several times with what he said. I didn't like the experience, and I wouldn't want to go back again. Something very good was that they washed my car and filled the gas tank; that was perfect. Thank you, but it cost me $1,150.00 for my car service, and the mechanics' work was the most expensive; the parts were not. I didn't like that. It's a very costly service; I think I don't want to go back there, but my car needs air conditioning repairs because they didn't find a problem, but there is a problem; it makes a strange noise when the air is on. read more

I have been calling for 3 days to talk to a service advisor. I bought a 1500 Silverado and need some maintenance done on it. No one calls back, when doing the online chat "terrance" doesnt even read the replies. There phone number listed on their google sight rings then immediately hangs up. I am aware the maintenance I need will be way over $1000.00 I was hoping to go to the dealer in my neighborhood. If you ever need to get your vehicle serviced at Sedano Chevrolet, you wanna make sure one thing. NEVER work with Trevor Bacon. I don't know how he even has a job because not only was he rude and unethical, but he LIES. I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday and when I called to check on it Monday midday they hadn't even looked at it. They say they have loaner vehicles, but this is far from True. The reality is they'll give you a five dollar lift to a rental car place where you're expected to put a $300 deposit and my case because of the number of days over $360 just for the rental. I'm sorry but over $1000 for Service +600 something dollars for Rental is not what I call taking care of the customer. Trevor Bacon did not call me back on Monday. When he called me Tuesday morning around 10:15 AM he said my car will be ready at 4 PM. Now I live in Point Loma and the dealership is in Santee. This is over 45 minutes drive one way. At 3:22 PM he sent me a text that said the car would not be ready till 10 or 11 AM the next day. This is already after I got all the way to Santee. I can't speak for anyone else at the dealership, but this guy was terrible. I had to get Mr. Saul Sedano involved who was very professional and nice. But even after all the unnecessary stress confusion and lies from Trevor Bacon. One of the issues that I brought up when I dropped the car off for service he never wrote it down on his service sheet. Then he had the nerve to try to tell me that I never brought it up. Basically calling me a liar. I looked in my car and found proof of a little piece of paper I wrote with a list of things I wanted them to service. Even after showing him that my display screen was showing in action unavailable message due to a phantom touch as of something was touching the screen, but nothing was. Instead of trying to make it right he just wanted to argue. I don't get upset easily, but he really tested my patience. I'm very surprised that Mr. Sedano has someone like Trevor Bacon representing his company because he did absolutely nothing to 'take care of the customer'. He had one excuse after the next. And when I asked him to have a car ready for me by the time, I got there he said no problem but when I arrived, it took 20 minutes for him to surface, then I was put in a Lyft and brought to a nearby enterprise. He told me everything was paid for and taken care of, but that was another Lie, at enterprise they required me to put a deposit on my card and I'm really just trying to understand how a service Advisor, who said he had been there for six years still has a job. Bottom line avoid Trevor Bacon at all cost.. that guy is terrible at his job, made me, the customer more upset than I already was. And he's lucky that I take prescription medication to manage my stress and impulse levels. So after after six days of my car being at the dealership, I asked him about the display, he made it seem like I never brought it up when I dropped it off, when he clearly either wasn't listening or isn't even care about my concerns. Then at the end, after Mr. Sedano provided an out the door price that we agreed on, Trevor tried to charge me $18 surcharge. I showed him the email from Mr. Sedano and he's still, Argued with me about the surcharge. In the end, my vehicle still has issues on the display and he had the nerve to try to make another appointment for service with me. I was like no thank you, never coming here again! I literally cannot be subjected to that kind of stress, disrespect, and complete. Disregard for my time or anything.! now I have to schedule a new service appointment to get resolution on an issue I told him about when I dropped it off. read more

Negative Experience Report - Sedano Chevrolet / Reporte de mala experiencia - Sedano Chevrolet English Version Very Bad Experience at Sedano Chevrolet (October 23, 2025) Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at Sedano Chevrolet during the routine 97,500-mile inspection of my Chevrolet Silverado. I scheduled the service online for $174.99, which included an oil change, tire rotation, and over 30 additional inspections. When I arrived, the advisor named Matt told me it would cost around $240. After I showed him the details from their own website, he agreed to honor the advertised price and perform the full inspection. A few minutes after I handed over the keys, he returned saying that three dashboard warning lights had turned on, even though my truck had none before I arrived. The lights appeared right after he connected a diagnostic scanner. When I mentioned this, he said "that's not my problem" and tried to charge me an extra $240 for a diagnostic check. I spoke with the manager, Mr. Solano, who refused to clear the codes or take responsibility, even though it happened inside their facility. In the end, they only performed the oil change and tire rotation, without completing the full 97,500-mile inspection, yet charged the full price. The process took over three and a half hours, and the customer service was poor and unprofessional. I've visited Bob Stall Chevrolet in La Mesa multiple times, where I always receive transparent and excellent service, but Sedano Chevrolet has been, without question, the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I do not recommend this place due to dishonesty, poor service, and lack of customer care.

Sedano took open advantage of an elderly disabled man with impaired language and comprehension from a severe stroke on social security. On Thursday, April 8, my boyfriend signed paperwork totaling $62,000 for a used truck. My boyfriend is disabled, with clearly audible speech and reading comprehension issues that are immediately evident. When I spent 7 hours there in person on Friday, the very next day, explaining that the signature of an individual with limited capacity could NOT be valid, both the sales and finance managers kept continuing to sell us different deals and defending their position. Sedano refused to accept a letter from my boyfriend's Speech and Cognitive therapist stating the medical nature of his condition, stating: "How do we know you didn't just make up this form?" That was incredibly offensive. If this isn't resolved very soon, we will be forced to hire a lawyer who will undoubtedly ask in compensation far more than simply cancelling a contract. There are many other places that sell cars. Do NOT go to this one, or any of the other Sedano owned dealerships. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my sister. She purchased a vechical from Mission Bay Chevrolet, now Sedano Chevrolet. She took her vechical in for a routine service on January 22, 2026. Mind you, she had no problems prior to the service. She picked her vechical up that evening with no problems. 24 hours later on her way to a function, the car simply shut off and it continued to shut off three more time. Once while in motion. She returned the vechical to service today. January 26, 2026, only to be told they would have to retain her vechical for an additional 2 or 3 days. She was offered nothing for her hardship and inconvenience. Her car was fine prior to the service. So you make the mistake and I pay the price? That is the epitome of bad service. When asked if she could get a loaner, the answer was; oh no! We don't do that. I won't mention the exorbitant amount she rendered for bad service. When the dealer creates the problem, the customer SHOULD NOT carry all of the burden. She should not be left without a vechical while they figure out their mistake. That is simply bad customer service. read more
