    We visited the Sedano Ford in la Mesa, CA lot on Sunday, 9/21/25 with the intention of just looking at Super Duty trucks. We were well informed about Ford packages, pricing, and had 3 vehicles to specifically view. Shortly after arriving we were genuinely greeted by Anthony V. He asked the right questions to find out our needs early on and respected our prior knowledge of Ford products. While showing us the requested vehicles, Anthony presented 2 more that were similarly equipped. His knowledge and comparisons of the vehicles soon let us know that he was vested in our search, and he was focused on the best value that would meet our needs. He provided opportunity for test drives and on the drives he provided comprehensive answers to technical questions too. Once we located 5 possible matches to our needs, Anthony respectfully gave us a lot of time to compare values and to whittle our choices to 3. He provided opportunities for us to visually review each of the 3 vehicle window sticker print outs side by side, and then to physically revisit each vehicle. Anthony was very helpful in answering function, performance, and package questions. In the end, his quiet professionalism helped us to select the best value that met our overall needs. The rest of the team that processed or reviewed our offer (Sal and Roman), were also very professional and we were quite satisfied with the price presented for our purchase. Even though it was a cash purchase, by California law, the documentation did take quite awhile, but the continuous offer of coffee and easy, friendly conversation ensured that we remained comfortable. Overall, we felt no buyers remorse after our appreciable purchase because of the benefits and values that the Sedano Ford team ensured we received in the buying process. We would confidently buy another vehicle from Anthony V. - he is an excellent sales representative. We would confidently buy again from Sedano Ford (and Chevy, Lincoln, etc) because of their sincere commitment to customer satisfaction.

Something told me not to take my car here but I bought my car from this location so I thought I could get an accurate diagnosis from them. After 2 days I still hadn't receive any word for them. Any ways after telling me what's wrong with me car, Moise kept insisting his advice was for me to trade it in and sat there trying to scare me. I asked how much it would to be to fix these problems and all he could do is give me a rough estimate off the top of his head. Like you can't go sit down and figure the price out, you just insisting that I trade my car in. No I want to fix my car. Anywho when I dropped my car off they specifically said that if I get any work done the diagnostic price would go towards that. So I'm trying to tell him, I want to work on one of the lessor things that's messed up, he insisted I get the most costly piece fixed and that the diagnostic would only go towards that. How is that? If I'm getting work done on something you found wrong in my diagnostic test, honor your word. It's not like I'm trying to fix something else that wasn't related. Im calling corporate. On top of all this my car is acting worse from when I took it in there and I really think they messed my car up thinking I was going to leave it there and then they could hit me over the head. There was an issue with a less-common extended coverage that didn't go as expected. Jose, my service advisor, did everything he could to get it resolved. When he hit a wall, Laura B. got involved. Laura is what some businesses refer to as "a fixer". She relayed what she was doing and who was involved. The list was not a short one. When things were ironed out, she was able to obtain results that kept the dealership and Toyota in good standing by acting in good faith and resolved the warranted coverage to my satisfaction.     $1,700+ Spent for an Incomplete Repair and a Traumatized Daughter!!…read moreI am writing this with a heavy heart as a father. My daughter, a hard-working student who is already managing significant financial pressure, chose Mossy Honda for service because she trusted the brand to treat her fairly. Instead, this dealership took over $1,700 of our money and returned the car in an incomplete, unsafe state, ending in a hostile confrontation that left my daughter in tears. We paid $1,728.75 for a PCM replacement and programming. Despite this massive bill, the car was returned with a dashboard full of warning lights. When I questioned why the lights weren't cleared, I was told their only job was to make the car "turn on." Furthermore, they initially charged $640 for a "calibration" attempt on a part they later claimed was dead--effectively charging us to program a brick.The situation escalated when we returned to address the AC system--the very thing that caused the PCM failure. Service Advisor Javier Hernandez performed an unauthorized Freon recharge on a system he knew was leaking without calling for approval. When I called to question this unauthorized work, Javier became aggressive, hung up the phone on me, and then turned his anger toward my daughter who was there to pick up the car. He ordered my daughter to leave and told her to "never come back" to the dealership. My daughter was left crying and shaken by how she was treated. As a father, it is gut-wrenching to see your child treated with such disrespect and hostility by a business you just paid nearly $2,000 to.: I have reached out to the Service Manager, Paul Bowen, via email to resolve this professionally. He has completely ignored my messages despite me confirming his email is correct. "Warning to Others:"!!! If you value your money and the safety of your family, stay away from Mossy Honda Lemon Grove. They do not stand behind their work, they perform unauthorized repairs, and they treat students and young women with zero professional decency. We are now forced to involve the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) to get justice for the incomplete work and the mistreatment we suffered.
