If you're planning on going to Sedano Lincoln, make sure you bring your running shoes, because they'll have you running around and wasting your time. Michael Drapeau called me and told me the truck I was interested in was ready. I drove down there, only to find out that it actually wasn't ready. The next morning, I received another call telling me to come down because the truck was ready to see. When I arrived, I was told it was still in detail. Then, within about an hour, Michael texted me saying the truck had sold. Pretty frustrating, especially after making the trip down there twice based on what I was being told. It honestly felt like the vehicle may have been used as a way to get me into the dealership to look at other vehicles, when the truck I was specifically interested in apparently wasn't even available to show. I've purchased vehicles from Next Door Ford, their sister company, in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. This is not the way I expect a dealership to treat a potential customer who is genuinely interested in buying a vehicle. I'm not saying this was intentional, but from a customer's perspective, the entire experience was extremely frustrating and felt like a complete waste of my time. been very disappointing. First, I want to specifically recognize my service advisor, Andrea, who is wonderful. She is incredibly sweet, responsive, and always helpful. Trish, their concierge advisor, is also an absolute gem. I sincerely hope management knows what an asset both of them are. My 2024 Lincoln Aviator is currently at the dealership for a recall and a few minor items, so I was provided with a loaner. The loaner was an older vehicle with extremely worn tires that appeared to be nearly bald. Unfortunately, we picked up a tiny nail that caused a flat on a Sunday when it was about 95 degrees outside, leaving my husband changing the tire in the heat. The vehicle only had a small temporary spare, and we were about 30 minutes from home. Since the service department was closed, I called the sales department to ask whether there was any after-hours assistance available. I spoke with the sales manager, Gus, twice and was taken aback by how condescending and dismissive he was. During our first conversation, he did not mention that Lincoln Roadside Assistance was available and simply told me there was nothing they could do. Was I frustrated that a luxury dealership apparently had no after-hours assistance for a customer having an issue with one of its loaner vehicles? Absolutely. But I did not yell at Gus or speak to him disrespectfully, and I certainly did not speak to him the way he spoke to me. I was told their calls are recorded, and I welcome management to listen to them. When I questioned why he was speaking to me in such a condescending manner and asked for his name, he initially continued talking without giving it to me. When I asked again, he responded, "I can see that you're not getting the answers you want, so you just want to make me the scapegoat." I was not looking for a scapegoat. I was simply trying to figure out what assistance was available so we could safely get home. I would expect a sales manager at a Lincoln dealership to handle a frustrated customer with basic courtesy and professionalism. I reported the interaction to my service advisor, who said she would notify management. After a week with no response, I followed up again last Friday and she said she would remind them. It is now Wednesday, and I still have not heard from anyone. Flat tires happen. What is disappointing is being given a loaner with severely worn tires, being treated this way by a member of management when calling for help, and then receiving no follow-up after management was notified twice. Andrea and Trish have always provided the level of service I would expect from Lincoln. Unfortunately, the way this situation has been handled by management has been very disappointing. read more

Sedona Lincoln service center was fabulous to work with. Made all arrangements for service for my 2020 Lincoln Navigator via phone with service manager Victor Torres. He was extremely helpful, courteous and went above and beyond to help me with my transmission failure. Car was shipped from our home in Mexico to the service center and they immediately diagnosed problems and stayed in contact with me regarding repairs and fees. We have had plenty of problems with other car dealers over the years, but Sedano Lincoln, and specifically the customer service here convinced us that not all dealers are created equal. We purchased a Navigator Black label here last year, and were so happy with the service that we went back and got a Corsair hybrid. Our interactions with the salesperson Carlo and the manager Mike were superb, with them making sure we were completely happy with our purchase, and the whole process with them was white glove. Not only are you buying a luxury vehicle, but also luxury service and salesmanship. Such a classy joint! We even stop by to get our car washed and hang out in the Black Label room with a cup of Java. I have just recently started to consider the Lincoln aviator and decided to go check them out. I think it was a bit of a perfect storm. The very first thing that really ruined the experience off the bat was that the salesman walked past me to find my husband. I was out of the car, already walking over to see a car. He walked past me and headed to our car where my husband was on a call and sitting with my kids. He waited there a few minutes before coming back to me to say "are you with that car?" I said yes. He followed up with, "oh ok I was waiting for your husband." This was one of those obnoxious sales moments but someone doesn't usually flat out and say it. This really bothered me and I made it clear that I AM the one buying the car and it would be in my name and my husband would have no say. Besides the obviously terrible start salesman was nice overall but was very new and didn't know the answer to several of the questions I had. I think there was some lack of experience. I could give more examples but I won't bother with so much. There seemed to be plenty of inventory. They had several Reserve and black label options but they didn't have or just didn't show the standard trim. I spoke with another person I believe above him when we went back in. I asked him directly, what am I missing? Why am I not wow'd. Maybe it was the lack of knowledge of the car from both myself and the original salesman but I felt like I was missing something. I felt like this new person began talking down to me. Things like, "our clients appreciate the brand alone" "our clients care less about the money and more about the experience" and "we're more about the experience then the technology." I found a few comments a little weird. I am fully aware that my, mom running around with little kids on a weekend attire, doesn't look great. I just felt like they thought I didn't have the money and that was the reason he made comments about their clients don't care about the money. Maybe this is why they didn't offer a water? Either way, if I'd been wow'd and had more reason to have liked the car, I would have taken it same day. I will be honest though, I'm sure my face reflected the annoyance I felt. I'm sure that wasn't helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. I am planning to go to another Lincoln dealership and try again. I'm hoping it was the location I didn't like more than the car. I'm sorry, but don't assume that I need my husband to handle car shopping, I have always handled it for our household. I may have looked like a hot mess but I could have signed on the spot. I hope this helps management address some key issues. Fleet Car Pick Up Sedano Lincoln was difficult to deal with, not responsive on phone calls and very unprofessional. I attempt to call the day before to ensure the paperwork was ready. I called Sergio 3 times and he had not taken care of anything nor reported back ever. They were not customer centric and refused to communicate, would not take or return phone calls and happy to let the customer sit for hours and wait with no idea how long they would have to be there. Our Driver was made to wait most of the day and spoken to unprofessionally and could over hear the local Sales Associates speaking in a condescending manner. Upon trying to call and see how much longer the Driver would have to wait, Enrique was unwilling to offer any assistance and just said there was no way to know. Me and my wife had been looking at cars a couple weeks and ultimately settled on a Lincoln MKC it's a great car and you can get used ones generally cheaper than most comparable automakers but with all the features heated and cooled seats leather everywhere comfortable sound system glass roof. Well we went to couple dealerships prior to Sedano Lincoln but prices at this time (2023) for a car are ridiculous. I saw RAV4s and Hondas used going for $35k with 70k miles and at the end it's still just an everyday Toyota or Honda. Ima ford guy and Lincoln's were on my list. When I saw few online I was drawn to the Lincoln MKC a taller car than a ford fusion which we previously had and we needed something easier for me and my wife to put our 2 year old in. I got in contact with Barry Alves online through the website and then couple of texts and calls later we set up a test drive. Barry is very knowledgeable and had answers for my questions and concerns I had towards purchasing a Lincoln. He helped with EVERYTHING! He helped and got what I wanted for my monthly payments. In the 9 months that I have had the Corsair, it has been in for repair for 5 months. Sedano was not cooperative in trying to get this car replaced. The only one who tried to help and to care was my salesman, Barry Alves, who I have been dealing with for 10 years. I'd like to look at the cars by myself but they keep the cars inside the building locked so that you're forced to deal with someone. I just want to see the cars and forcing a sales interaction is offensive. RESPONSE TO DEALER ANSWER: For those who are considering buying a Lincoln, please read this because this answer tells me that any purchase from this dealer would involve running a gauntlet of mental "head fakes" to find ways to take financial advantage of the buyer. If the start this early in the process, can you imagine what the process of buying would be like? Things like refusing to provide the actual cost of the car, instead insisting on a credit application from you. Likely that application including a deceptive "marketing opt-out" clause with available signature that appears to be required. The salesman likely represents it as required without quite saying that to retain plausible deniability. The goal is, of course, to make your information available to other companies for marketing. Likely even once you decide on the car, oddly named fees, equipment, and services are suddenly tacked on. When you ask about them, you're told "we assumed every astute buyer would want this" and said with a disapproving or sometimes ridiculing tone. Putting the buyer in a position to be firm and assertive and then accusing the buyer of being rude or "hurting their feelings" for questioning them. This dealers answer is a perfect example of the misrepresentation where they establish themselves as vandalism victims in the specific situation where they aren't. Classic dealer lying. It's done in such a way where the statement cannot be logically declared as untrue, but it doesn't apply to the situation. The fear of vandalism makes sense for the cars that are outside, vulnerable and unattended. But locking the (2) cars inside the building is merely a tactic to force interaction with a salesperson. Your disingenuous answer is a perfect example of why anything having to do with a car dealer is difficult whether it be looking at them, buying one, financing it or servicing. The consumer has to be vigilant because a dealer is ALWAYS looking for a way to take advantage of the consumer. This, answer, for example, conflates the actual vulnerability of cars outside on the lot and the desire for a buyer to see the cars inside your own building with at least two people there to observe. Furthermore, I was clearly not homeless and wanted to see the cars without a salesman trying to generate a sales in much the same manner. Less than 2 miles away, I went to Lexus and Mercedes, who had at least 5 open cars inside their building, and was able to sit inside the cars without being subjected to a salesman. I wouldn't buy from this dealer because the entire process would be a battle to be sure I wasn't being taken advantage of. I'd go to another Lincoln dealer first. If they were the same, I'd consider switching to a Cadillac, Mercedes or Lexus because if a dealer is like this before the purchase, they'll be like this during service as well. THE OWNER THEN CONDESCENDS FURTHER: All you had to do was ask to view and you want to be left alone. The answer would be "no problem" but to go into a tirade of an answer tells a different story. Lets be nice to each other , then maybe you would not be so defensive. Not everyone is out to "get" you. Good luck with your shopping. I just think we need to stand up to your baseless comments. I bought a new Aviator last year & was sold a lemon. I've had transmission problems. it hesitates when you are at a light or just driving getting on the freeway! Dangerous to drive. I have had the transmission "fixed" 3 times! My next appt is in July. such a pain in the ass. I went in last week to talk about how we can resolve issues. The so called sal manager was a complete jurk! Basically nothing he can do.. I have to go through a 3rd party to help me with what to do next. The car is a complete letdown.no one cares. WORST EXPERIENCE!! I own a 2017 MKX Black Label and have had an unsatisfactory experience at Sedano Lincoln. It seems that they manage reviews heavily, so I hope this reaches someone and can help others avoid the same failures that I experienced. I left the vehicle with Sedano 9/17/2024 AM for regular service and to repair the passenger side lower light array. I was told that since I had an "aftermarket" base plate assembly (for towing) on the front of the car, I would have to pay an additional $1470 for the labor to disassemble and re assemble the front end for repair. The disassembly and diagnoses was performed. I was then informed that parts were not available, and no estimate of availability was available. I was ready to leave on an RV trip and I needed the car back as this is my tow vehicle. I completed my two month trip, and parts were still not available. I continued to call through year's end and into 2025. (I did not receive any calls back) I made a personal visit 2/9/25 and found out that parts were available, and I would be charged another $1470 for disassembly and reassembly of the front end. I complained about that, and to their credit (kind of) they agreed only to charge me half that amount. I authorized the repair and returned the car 5/13/25. I was told that repairs were completed, but that there was still a problem with the passenger headlight array, this time the turn signal was inoperative. I told them to reassemble the car and I would pick it up. I then called County RV, who installed the tow baseplate and hookup, and asked them to troubleshoot the problem. June 25th they successfully repaired the problem. I bought a replacement module (the same one replaced by Sedano FG9Z-13C788-H $980) at El Cajon Ford. The labor cost from County RV was $380.00 To disassemble, and reassemble the front end and install the module. Sedano refused to reimburse me for the part. Additionally, Sedano technicians broke the mounting "tabs" off the front clip, and it had to be rivited back into place. Needless to say I was Furious! SEDANO LINCOLN IS A LOW QUALITY, INCOMPETENT SERVICE ORGANIZATION. Hang on to your wallet! read more

I drive down to San Diego County today with the intention of buying a 1-2 year old used Mercedes EQS450+. I had found two cars which I was considering. Sedano Lincoln had a 2-year old model with 13,000 miles. The other car was at a nearby Mercedes dealer. It was 1-year newer but had 31,000 miles on it. I had expressed a concern to Bernard and Fernando at Sedano Lincoln about my concern about buying a used Mercedes from a non-Mercedes dealership. (Mercedes offers a certified inspection which adds a fifth year to the car's standard warranty). To Bernard's credit, Lincoln agreed to offer a bumper to bumper warranty for 6 years. The warranty will be honored by Mercedes, so problem solved. They exercise a very professional, and low pressure sales technique there. Closed on Sundays for sales? Sunday is my only day free and I wanted to see a Lincoln Corsair PHEV that is going to be a present for my wife. I am cross shopping the Lincoln with the Lexus NX450h+. But I go and the dealership is closed. I have never heard of a car dealership's sales department being closed on the weekend. The Ford sales rep is indignant and rude when I inquire about seeing a Lincoln. They are literally the same company (Sedano) and the stores are a hundred feet apart. I guess the dealership has made my buying decision for me and now I'm going back to San Diego Lexus. read more
