This is my second time coming to this location. First time they got me out pretty quick and it was free! Only issue was tech forgot my wheel lock and it was still on the car! Luckily I caught it before driving off! Today I had to come back since I had a blow out. I called first and spoke to the Manager Charlie. He ordered the tires and told me they should have it before end of day. I got the car towed there around noon hoping it would arrive soon. Took about 1.5hrs+ so not too bad. I was in the area running some errands and my low tire pressure sensor came on. The tire looked fine so I drove over to O'Reilly to buy a tire gauge. I was in the parking lot checking my tire pressure when this nice gentlemen came over and said he worked at Discount Tire and to come on over and they would check the air for me and fill my tire for no charge. This was very nice to go out of his way to offer this service to me. I drove over and had a few minute wait and they checked my tires, one was low and they filled it. They said if it was low again in the morning, they would be open by 8 and they could help me. Unfortunately, my tire was already a few PSI lower when I drove 15 minutes home, so I made an appointment at a location nearby. This location had such friendly and helpful employees. They took my car in right away and that took them about 20 minutes to patch my tire but then they decided to park my car and make me wait another 30 minutes until they gave me my keys and it took for somebody that filled up my tire almost an hour ago to notice. At this point I should be in a commercial for them considering I always run in there all flabbergasted whenever I find nails and screws in my tires. In fact, I'm sitting here for that reason right now. Every time I'm here, the staff is quick and professional. I like that you can track your status on your phone while you're waiting. It makes the experience less elusive because it gives you the power to go creep on their work the second you know you're in the bay. On that note, I like how they have a little bar seating area facing the window so you're actually encouraged to watch them work. I even like that they play an actual radio station in the lobby lol. There's something comforting about hearing a bunch of commercials and billboard music. It makes me nostalgic for being a little girl trusting that my dad was somewhere nearby fixing everything. Very solid experience at this Discount Tire location. Came in for a rotation & balance since I was having lunch with a friend nearby. Heads up that there is a parking lot in the front and back at this location. Things can get a little tight out front; the free air pressure check is in the back. Commendable service - I was greeted and checked-in promptly. The debrief when my service was done was professional and warm as well. The technology is great as well. Your receipt is emailed to you and you'll receive text updates throughout your service. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star is timing. They were slightly behind--which I get it, things happen--and this delayed my car from being serviced by about 30 mins despite an appointment. The team was upfront about this and I definitely appreciated the transparency. Total time spent at the shop was about an hour, which all-in-all still wasn't too bad in the grand scheme of things. Two stars only because of the guy who initially helped me at the counter during my first visit. I forgot his name but I think it started with a J. However, the name on my final receipt is the name of the guy who helped me at counter today but he was supper cool too. Anyhow, the first guy was extremely helpful and had two loaner tires in like new condition put on my vehicle until my new set of 4 tires came in today as he had to order them. I first came in late in the afternoon on Friday Oct 11th, 2024 after one of my tires went flat when I drove over some metal debris in the street and had to put my spare tire on. I already knew I was going to need all new tire's soon anyhow so I purchased a new set of 4. My new set of tires arrived the following day on 10/12/2024 a little before noon. Discount Tire was closing early at 1pm so I got there as fast I could. When I arrived, they were swamped with vehicle's and you could tell they were rushing to meet that 1pm close time. Here's the issue, I knew 3 of my rims had curb rash and one didn't. Out of the three that did, one rim had a fair amount of curb rash and the other two had very minor curb rash. Now, all four rims have damage and the three that already had damage look way worse than before. The rim that didn't have any damage whatsoever now does and you can tell the damage is fresh in the picture's. When I went to clean my rims afterwards, I was like wtf? You can still see the lube or grease they use to mount/put the tire on where the damage is in one of the pics. That rim was the one rim that had a fair amount of curb rash but now looks twice as bad. The other pics are of the rim that had no damage whatsoever and you can see the damage is fresh and is even scratched on the face of the rim itself. I have no way to prove this and the car is 10 yrs old but Im highly disappointed with the tire tech who replaced my tires. One last thing, Discount Tire is no longer a "discount" as their tire prices are just as high as anywhere else. read more

They are realistic with their timing and thorough with their process so that if something happens later (and you purchased the warranty) you have the power of Discount backing you up. This location just started doing alignments as well and their prices are super competitive! The dreaded warning light came on for low pressure on a rear tire while at speed on the freeway and I was lucky enough to be near this Lemon Grove Discount Tire. There were several people waiting, but I was greeted quickly and the situation assessed, my car given a safety check. I was on the road 35 mins. later after a repair and rebalance. All three of the employees I spoke with were kind and knowledgeable. Sometimes the service goes to 11. Highly recommend. read more

This shop took in more work orders than they can handle which led to a lot of customers being inconvenienced and dissatisfied with the work they did because every work ended up being "hurried". And this doesn't even looked like to be a rare occurrence, I won't be surprised if it happens every day. I had to leave my car and come back close to closing time since there was an inventory error when I bought my tires and they had to get it from another store. After the free tire alignment, of course, surprise! they find some misalignment that needs to be corrected so that they can charge you $89.99 for the correction. On the way out, I checked my trunk to make sure that my spare tire was placed back in. It was there but, my tire inflator was missing. When I asked one of the staff what happened to it. All he can say was "I don't know". I figured because they were all in a hurry to finish all the work orders. It led to work carelessness and they forgot to put my tire inflator back in when they returned my spare tire. They all just wanted to get out of there. You have to do your customers better. It was not our fault that you all took in work orders that you can't handle that day and the results were passed on to your customers - unsatisfactory, if not terrible service. read more

Honestly, it is so hard nowadays to find places where service is spot on, everyone is friendly, and everyone is on the grind! I have been by twice this year for two different flats, and everyone here is friendly, fast and efficient. No one is ever just standing around, everyone is working! They get you in and out and fast as possible, way faster than Costco. Not to mention, some services are complimentary and they don't treat you any different to paid services.
