Justo (the owner) responded promptly and gave me a great deal and told me to come right in, no appointment needed. So far so good! When I arrived at the place, David (the mechanic) came out and attended me immediately. Very nice and professional. He told me to wait a few minutes because he was working on another customer's car. After he finished, he told me to pull in to the garage and he got to work! David was very fast and got everything done that I needed in less than half an hour. Also known as LRT Warehouse, this place is as good as it gets. Needed some tires for my Subaru STi before a long roadtrip, and David hooked it up. I've been to quite a few tire shops but never have I had such a great experience. - David was mindful getting my old tires off my BBS wheels without a single scratch - Spent time balancing my new tires, (I haven't seen another shop do this for used tires) - Installed my tires super fast while I wandered around their really clean warehouse - Cleaned ALL 4 of my wheels. This really impressed me. I arrived with dirty wheels. I only bought 2 tires...he cleaned all 4 wheels and they were as clean as I've ever seen them. - Replaced my tire valve caps free, black preferred over chrome As someone who's car is my 'baby' I definitely trust these guys to do an outstanding job for a great price. Best place in the county for not only tires and smog, but auto repairs as well. I live super closeby and both David and Juan always have treated me great every single time. One time, after buying 4 used tires, 1 tire went bad after just a couple months, and every they replaced it for free. Last week, I needed a flat tire repaired due to 2 punctures, and they did it for $20! Because I live so close, they always wave if they're outside and see me. I went to this tire shop after seeing a ad on offer up. My tire was flat so i needed a tire. So I took my tire off at home and went with the rim to have the tire changed. The guy changes the tire out and I go home. Once I get home I put the tire on the car. Once the weight of the car got on the tire, you could clearly see the tire was opening on the side which is irreparable. So no big deal I figured he didn't do it on purpose so I just went back up there which was a good haul from Ocean Beach mind you. So explain to the guy upon my return excuse me sir there was damage and I go to show him the crack on the tire and he immediately got defensive. And I'm thinking this can't be legal to sell a tire that's clearly shot in California then only after I said that to him he wanted my info started taking pics of my license plate, and I felt like I was. In another country, no I' don't mean that in any racist way. They immediately started speaking spanish..and being confrontive and confrontational... so there's many tire shops in El Cajon but I absolutely do not recommend any one to go here.. if I could put 0 stars I would but it's not an option! So I found this place on Yelp and after reading the positive reviews I gave it a try. There's also the option to message the business for quotes and since I'm not a fan of talking on the phone, this option was awesome! The owner responded within 30 minutes and was very helpful. I walked in around 9am without an appointment and was done by 1015am. They had to go to their other shop to pick up the tires I needed. Service was friendly and straight to the point. The owner came and checked up on me in the waiting room, even offered me a cold drink so that was very sweet considering they have a water cooler there for customers. When I was done he also informed me that they will give me free rotations every 7,000 miles as long as I bring the receipt. I told them what the problem was and what I wanted, they rolled out a jack, rolled out a new tire, put the new tire on and had me paid within a reasonable time. Tried to sell me a dry tire with a good tire and say they were the same. I picked a pair of tires but different brand each and would not budge on price. I was sent from there other location and honestly wouldn't care for a good deal except I've been doing business with them for over 7 years when they only used to have one location or at least much less than now. I come in and always laughing and good welcome. This location is the exact opposite. I wouldn't have cared to even leave this review if it wasn't for the fact that when I told them call the other location and they will say do it with no hesitation as the owner knows me but just say no it's way to low. By the way, we are talking about a 20 dollar difference the guys didn't want to go down. So if you are not educated about tires and the wear and tear they have, please do because if it wasn't for my knowledge, I would've bought a tire that would finishes 6 month before the other side did. The other locations deserve 5 stars due do to their service and quality. Just not this one. read more
