I got a flat tire on my way home from work on the freeway and was directed here. I have a warranty from another place, so Charlie didn't feel good about charging me for a new tire (screw on the outside of the tire) Instead he GAVE me a "loaner" tire to get me home and to the place where my warranty was the next day. Not many people would do this. Since I have run flat tires, I don't have a spare, but he gave me a spare. He didn't try to take advantage of the situation, he only wanted to make sure that I got home safe. I am grateful and appreciative of Charlie's kindness. Also, I want to thank Saul, who took care of replacing the tire. It was past closing, but he took care of it and got me on my way. Excellent service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

My back tires are wider than my fronts so noone had them when I needed them ASAP, these guys not only got them ordered and installed in a VERY timely manner but they worked me into the best deal. I shopped around about 5-8 places even after ordering from them and still saw that they gave me the best price for great tires.(TOYO TIRES) One shop even said "there is no way they gave you that deal" ‍ in short I WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK FOR ANY SERVICE THEY OFFER AND RECOMMENDING THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY!! Call me crazy, but I drove the recommended 50 MPH for a doughnut spare. I have to tell you, it was scary with all of these speeding idiots around me. I didn't know if I was going to get rear-ended, slammed into a wall or what. The only advantage of driving 50 MPH is that I got 28 MPG, vice my average 22 MPG. La Mesa Tire hooked me up! They didn't have any used tires for the size I needed, but they did have the exact same brand of new tires. They're used tires start at $45 They cut me a break with a brand new tire for $60 cash! This is a business that looks out for their customers, this is why they are so highly rated. But their ratings are slipping due to people who have YELP accounts, but don't take the time to write a short praise for the service they received. They're a five star in my book. I believe I found a new tire and automotive maintenance team, which is closer than any of the brand named tire and maintenance companies.

When I called this location my call went to a Call Center in Kentucky. I wanted to talk to the…read morestore to find out if the could get my car done today or not. The Call Center misled me into thinking they were at the store and they are NOT! Your Call Center should be more transparent about this. This is a MAJOR ISSUE. Your Call Center assured me that they "will get me in and out" with brakes, an oil change, and four new tires at 4 pm, and to "come right in", and "I have a 4 pm appt for you". LIES!! I walked into the store and they were slammed.. Simón said that there was no 4 pm appt for me, but he would take good care of me anyways. I raised my voice at him, "I just talked to you!" "You said 'in & out'". He calmly said he did not talk to me, but will take good care of me. I calmed myself. I was so angry. He said he would NEVER make a 4 pm appt for someone who needed brakes, 4 tires, and an oil change, when they close at 5 pm. It all made perfect sense. Simón offered to get my tires and oil change started, but offered to inspect my car to see if I even needed brakes. I agreed. It turned out my back brakes were at 6 mm and my fronts were 4 mm, so I still had time to change them. They squeezed me in even though they had cars they were trying to get out of the shop. EXCELLENT management by these guys to fix the predicament their "Call Center" had suckered me into. Evan's Tire & Service in Lemon Grove is a super place with super employees! They gave me a great price, and I was out of there at 5 pm. You need to fix your Call Center though- these stores are welcoming angry customers like me, because they are being lied to. Good job Simón & crew! I owe you one. The Call Center review would be 0 stars.
