While they don't have many advisors on site, they do specialize in one on one service. I was there for a quick oil change and tire rotation, which was around $119 with debit card (Feb 2024 - this price might change due to inflation). Granted, it was on the pricier side compared to a non-dealership but my car had a symbol that indicated that I had other things to do as well, which Steve resolved saying that those services weren't needed since I had already had them done back in August with Honda of El Cajon. I am really happy with how quick and fast the service was. There was no sales agent asking me to trade in my car and I was really happy to meet my favorite advisor, Steve! How cool! Location: Right next to Toyota and Lean Bean Coffee. Don't make the same mistake like I did, just park your car in front of the Honda of Santee sign and not in the service line for Toyota. Called on a Friday afternoon for an appointment to do battery check, and possibly battery…read morereplacement if the check proved it was needed. Was please to get an appointment for the next morning, a Saturday. Was told it would be a drop-off appointment. So we took both cars so I can bring my spouse home. Upon getting there before our appointment time and checking in, they said they did not even have the battery in stock at their location. They offered that we can go to Lemon Grove's service center instead. We asked why the appointment setter couldn't have told us that before making the appointment. Their response was that that person was new. What would have also been fine is if they could have done the check first anyway since we didn't even know if the battery was the issue. But that wasn't offered. Just an inconvenience that I feel could have been avoided with better training and communication. Bummer to have wasted the time on our day off.

I went in and my father-in-law was outside with my toddler. I was just picking up my car. My son was running around outside with his grandpa when the two service coordinators were discussing how my son can get hit by a car because he is outside running around. I apologize and said that's my son. He's with his grandfather. I really thought Toyota was a family based place and that's why I felt so strongly about this company. I definitely understand that it's not a place for a toddler to be running around But let me ask you how many moms have helped And I know one of the service coordinators had a daughter because his photos are right there so let me ask you if your wife and daughter have been outside doing the same thing. Would you have allowed someone to speak about them that way? I would really rethink training on these customer service coordinator.

Came for an oil change and realized later that day that there was a weird smell coming from my…read morehood. I saw white smoke coming from my hood as well. I lifted the hood to find that the oil cap was NEVER REPLACED after the oil change was done. I had oil splashed all over the parts and underneath the padding of the interior hood. I couldn't believe the guy made such a rookie mistake! When I called the shop, to tell them about my problem, no one answered the phone, even though it was 4:50 and they closed at 5. They were closed on Saturday too. I had to wait the whole labor day weekend to go to this shop again. When I went again, the mechanic (older guy) was very defensive and couldn't believe that the oil cap wasn't replaced. I told him I could show him pictures of the damage, but right away he refused to see any. Then he started playing mind games, asking me, "Who cleaned your car?" when the car was visibly dirty. When I used my index finger to wipe the outside of the engine and show him the grim and oil, he told me that the car "was like that before." I told him that it wasn't and told him I took pictures and videos. He then asked me, "what do you want me to do?" How about some accountability? Apology? How about saying that you'll at the least clean the exterior of the engine? I asked him to clean the parts underneath the hood. He told me to COME BACK! He literally told me to come back in 2 or 3 days! Wow. Do you think I would let him touch my car after his unwillingness, deception, and rude behavior? I came to this auto shop because it was highly rated on Yelp, but I could not believe the horrible service that I got. I called another day to ask to speak to the owner, but the mechanic refused to even give me his name. In fact, he lied and said that HE was the owner!!! But I saw the owner on the day I went in for the oil change. Don't come here unless you want a rude, unaccountable jerk to ruin your car.

I recently had a inverter installed by Webb's RV and on our last outing my wife's brand new curling iron would not work off the inverter. I figured that the curling iron must be bad because everything else worked off the inverter. When I returned home we tried plugging the curling iron into a plug at the house and it worked fine? So I broke out my multi-meter and checked the voltage at the plug in our RV with the inverter on and it read 100.2 volts. Ah ha! It's the inverter that must be bad. I contacted Jon at Webb's and told him the story. He contacted the manufacturer which told him you can't accurately check the voltage of the inverter with a regular multi-meter because it's a modified sine wave. You need a RMS meter to measure the voltage. Jon purchased a RMS meter and loaned it to me to check the voltage and verify if this was true. The answer to that question is yes, there was nothing wrong with the inverter. The problem is with my wife's new curling iron not being able to recognize the modified sine wave of the new inverter. The effort that Jon made in ordering the RMS meter for me to use is above and beyond what I have come to expect from a RV service center and they should be commended on their service! It's comforting to know that there are still businesses out there that make their customer's feel their needs are important even after the bill is payed!

He not only ordered it but comped us the extra charge a lesser shop no doubt would've stuck us with. Though it took a while for the special part to get to the shop, we're glad Josh didn't simply send us to the dealer, reschedule the appointment or even charge us extra.
