I came to auto zone because my battery went out.there were 5 employees there and none would come outside. I didn't have my tools and they had limited tools.I couldn't get my battery off and still got no support. I returned the battery and asked for a jump and they didn't have a jumper for that. I bought rotors online and they were warped after 16 months. Although still under warranty and I had online receipt, the manager Joel gave me the runaround and allot of frustration before I got the exchange. Even with the order number, he can't look it up. He gave me a pep talk how he did me a favor. I have also witness several other customers complaint about returns at this location. Tip: keep your receipt. So, I've had zero issues with this Autozone. Here are two experiences that'll keep me coming back as a customer: 1. A few months ago, I had noticed a squealing under the hood of my 350z. It was the belts that needed to be replaced. I was confused as to why this was happening again as I had just replaced them two months earlier. I removed them and expected an exchange because the warranty I had signed up for two years beforehand. To my dismay, they didn't carry them anymore. Instead of attempting to charge me for new ones, they had given me another set that cost a few dollars more. 2. I purchased a battery that was suppose to fit in a Triumph Spitfire I'm currently building. I didn't realize it didn't fit, as I'm a full-time college student not having the time to work on the car. I called them asking what my options were as the battery was purchased MONTHS ago. They worked with me to find a smaller battery and did the exchange. When a customer calls and ask if there's a certain part in stock and you say yes there is two different options to choose from. Then customer gets there and needs assistance but you only point them two the location product is in and say there's a couple to choose from and you see customer is not able to find what you said was there and isn't. Then they have to get in line to see which you were referring to. Then another nice associate comes to help and say we have not had this product for sometime now. The other man behind the counter and you know who you are with your facial hair. If you would have went and looked physically before customer came there then I could have avoided coming to this location and could have went to another. It took your nice clean cut associate to tell me they have not been in stock for sometime, you can learn from him. I work In customer service and very good at it and when a customer wants to know if something is in stock, I physically go check to see if it's there or not. Went in a couple weeks ago because my back driver side blinker was bad. Greyson helped me get the right bulb I needed. After a few weeks waiting for someone at home to replace it I tried to do it myself. Didn't have the right tool to take off the back panel. Went back to auto zone and was greeted by Greyson again and told him my back blinker was out I bought the bulb but can't remove the panel. He then came out to take a look and went back inside to get the tool he needed and within minutes he replaced it for me. No charge!! He was totally Awesome!! I have to say working with this stores and especially the manager Brian was the best customer service I've received in a long time. I live in Calimesa, which isn't too far but on a 4x4 blazer it kinda sucks up gas but I would go back, how ever he also mentioned his wife works at the branch closer to me and would surely be just as nice. Any way. I went in for wipers before the rain this week and the pair I bought didn't quite fit , the young woman at the desk came out to help me change them in the lot and when I tried them one side didn't even touch... And it did with my old scrappy wipers, grant it there was some streaking but at least I could see on the driver side. So Mgr Brian took a look and recommend the same brand as my original ones but new style and were only a few dollars more, in fact I got money back on the original ones I bought! And he had them installed in no time flat, asked me to come test them, and yet again the same problem. Well it turns out it was the wiper arm itself that was the problem. So we went back inside to see if he could get it brought over from another store. ( while I was waiting for him to work on that, I took a phone call and he overheard me talking about how I broke my tooth down to the root the day before and had to have it pulled in the next few days, and had happened the same day I went to visit my grandads grave who has just passed) when I got off the phone Brian was nice and said I overheard you on the phone..... He gave me a discount and offered to install the wiper arm which is NOT protocol for Autozone, he went above and beyond. I had a few errands to run while the part was delivered and with in probably 3 hours or so I had new wipers completelely working. He worked extremely fast knows what he's doing, I had questions about different things, he had answers. I've even recommend my dad to come from Loma Linda should he need AutoZone services. Everyone greets you upon walking into the store and acknowledges you when waiting in line saying they will be right with you, but I can see why Brian is the Boss, perhaps my next trip will be a shorter one to visit with his wife Rhonda in Beaumont. read more

This is a scam store. The guy convinced me to buy more stuff than what I came in for and said if I spend this much more $ then I'll get a free $20 credit. So I spent the amount that he said and came back one day to use the "$20" and they told me I don't have any points and don't have a free $20 to spend. I Called store manager, she was rude didn't do anything about it, she told me to call 800 number and they were so rude and disrespectful. Never shopping at Autozone again. Bought tire chains this morning for my trip to big bear. I hardly take time off with my financial situation taking its toll but I thought why not! So I didn't use the chains until it was absolutely necessary (aka icy snow on the road). halfway up the drive to big bear it was clear that chains would be mandatory, and as it became more apparent, two workers had blocked off the passage into Big Bear, requiring immediate chains before passing through. And before I go on, I am completely aware that snow chains should only be used when actual snow is present. My bf puts on the chains, and off we go! not even 10 minutes later we hear a sharp snap coming from the front right tire so we immediately pull over. the tire chain is already broken, so we try fixing it, and that works for a while but suddenly the entire chain just came right off and we were so dumbfounded because there was no turning back, so many cars in front and behind me. long story short, the other chain does the exact same thing but this time we recover it. We called this Autozone and it's like the lady has gone through this scenario before because she CLEARLY didn't give two shits and her lines were completely rehearsed. i just spent 60 on a piece of shit item that broke in under an hour and for what? honestly tell me? I'm a student that doesn't have 60 dollars to just through away.. it's very frustrating. I don't think I'll let this go. read more
