So this morning my hubby took my 2012 RAV4 for an oil change because my engine light went on & we knew we were due & we also asked the shop that did it to give us a quote to fix my back bumper that was damaged (my fault! ). So I was going home from an event when I noticed my engine light was still on so I stopped at the Autozone at Cave Creek & Bell Rd to get an analysis. When I got out of my car I also noticed that my back bumper was separated a little from the fender, it wasn't like that before that shop worked on it. The young man that did the analysis was Sean, he was very nice & knowledgeable. He showed me that nothing was coming up on the report. I mentioned to him that the shop my husband took my car to was new to us, and wondered if they did a complete job. He immediately offered to check out the oil & filter to make sure it was done right, so we went back outside & he did just that! I mentioned that I even noticed my bumper was separated & I was concerned of taking it thru the car wash for fear it would fall off, SO he looked at that too & low & behold he gave it a few whacks & popped it back in!! I KNOW this is long BUT Sean went above & beyond just doing the analysis!! WOW!! Thank you Sean!! This is why anytime I need something for my car, this is where I will shop!! When I meet young men like this (I'm retired age) I tell myself, his parent(s) did a great job raising him!! Great customer service skills for sure!! I took a pic of my back bumper that he popped back in!! If I could give a 10 star rating I would!! read more

I bought a 3 year battery from AutoZone in June of 23. I had some work done somewhere else and they tried to sell me a battery. It was still firing just fine but I asked them to check it...tested bad and they replaced it and installed the new battery on the spot. The folks that work there are nice and very helpful! read more

This autozone has always helped out with minor things and the one day we go in to get help on a minor thing they wanna bring policy around to not help out. Working at a autozome should be easy enough to change or help out with something small. read more

You'd think people working customer service would be more helpful. Instead I was quickly shrugged off by Jose L telling me that they didn't have any leak finder liquid (they do have them) after he hurried up returning my item Just so he could go chit chat with his buddy that had walked in. last time i remember, you're at work not at home. Had an issue with the start up of my 2007 Scion tc while on the way to work. Stopped in not 100% sure what the problem was. JASON was quick to get outside and check the battery first and sure enough it was a dying battery. We went back inside and he showed me the options he had available. I picked the one with a pice that fit me best and with a warranty. He got my account linked and battery swapped very quickly and added in some extras to help the battery last longer. I was in a time crunch and didn't say anything about it but he was fast, efficient, and helpful. All in all it only took about 10 min and I was back on the road. Thank you very much. read more

the girl who works there refused to get a part because it was on the top shelf. appreciate it

Came in to purchase a new battery and the staff here was amazing. They made sure I had all the necessary tools and even offered to help, if needed. They were incredibly professional towards myself and all the other customers in the store that evening. My only gripe: there were some customers entering the store without masks, and apparently, the corporate office doesn't support their employees to instruct those customers to wear a mask. This is dumb. It's a state-ordered mandate to wear a mask. This complacency only puts all the other customers at risk. Again, this is at no fault of the actual employees of the store. (My 4-star rating is for them! The real MVPs!) This is a corporate decision. Dear Corporate, Get your head out of your arse. Thanks, Mo. read more

Came in with battery problems and left a very satisfied customer. Sean O. was able to get me all set with a new battery, warranty, and assistance with a very unique issue. There's nothing worse on a hot day then that funny clicking noise you get when your battery doesn't turn over. Since it was purchased at AutoZone a few years ago, off we went--dead battery and receipt. We were greeted pleasantly and a clerk grabbed a tester and went outside. Dead! Dead! Dead! Because there was 6 months left on the warranty, they checked stock and gave us a new battery. (Usually, something dies a few days after the warranty runs out!) Great treatment and a warranty honored. read more

I ordered and paid for a part Friday morning, to be at the store by 6pm. When I arrived to pick it up, the associate appeared frazzled. He kept researching and looking, then he passed me off to another associate. After 15 minutes of being left alone, so they can find my part, associate returned to tell me it was ordered wrong and now can't be there until Tuesday. No apologies. Cancelled my order and asked for a refund. read more

Luis M was so nice he helped me take oil down from a shelf that I couldnt reach, he looked up correct brake fluid for me and got me the one that was on sale. Am employee made a joke about how they let me past the front door with my backpack.. How funny. Do you ask all your female customers to surrender their purse? I'm sorry but I'm not there to steal petty items from a f**king auto zone store. Thankfully he didn't directly ask me to leave my backpack up front or else this employee would of opened an entirely different can of worms. 1 star for belittling and discriminatory customer service. I will continuing shipping at PEP BOYS only 1/2 mile down the street from you, which has 1,000 times more inventory. UPDATE- made a return on 5/10 for $18. Went back to use the store credit gift card and the card was BLANK!!! Are you kidding me!? They have me a blank card. Now I'm going through the hassle of calling the corporate office because the manager ROBERTO doesn't have the brains to figure this out for his customers. And VICTORIA is the one who issues me the false card while Howe little daughter played behind the counters. Place is a frickin train wreck!! read more

Save your time and energy, this place is seriously lacking customer service. Called to check if they had a specific type of 2 stroke engine oil first guy puts me on hold for 6min then another guy answer and says thank you for calling autozone... wait what?! Second guy at least checked and said no and only took 2min to look. 7+ min of my life I will never get back. read more

All I want to say is I am absolutely appalled by the way that Jason at AutoZone treats his customers I had just drove in 40 minutes out of my way to come get AC condenser for my car a Chevy 2015 sonic and I called previously to confirm that they had a part and they said yes, upon showing up the part has it hadn't been set aside or anything, which is not a problem like I don't mind waiting but what I do mind is when there's a policy that is to be upheld, and I'm told that I am the one being a rape or crazy or to get the hell out of the store because I'm demanding apart a simple policy like price matching And I did I wasn't even asking for that the sale price I was just asking for a alternative solution and he said all he wanted to do was 10% off boy I could do 20% off with a coupon that you guys have online like that's not the issue the issue here is the fact that I got treated with disrespect for no reason, and had no nothing to say, but all I wanted was the condenser that I wanted no matter what the price was I was gonna pay I had the money, but the fact that this man should've looked me in the eye and told me that I was wrong and that I didn't know what I was talking about like it makes me feel so sad that this is a representation of what this company is Has he told me to do with the manager to get out he even called the police on me for web for asking you to uphold a policy that is on your guises website is absolutely ridiculous. You should've sat there because you were the person that was there was more experience than the actual associate instead, you want to walk away from me after you say to get the hell out of the store, I don't think so but we will be following up. This isn't the last time that Mr. Jason hears from me and I the fact is is that I would not be treated with this respect in any way, shape or form, and this is the last time that I ever shop at AutoZone Get out dude like who do who do you think you are Brisola you are the poorest representation of good customer service like I was not being a Ray and I was not being upset. I was just asking for the policy to be upheld and you weren't even willing to work with me. You walked away. What a poor excuse of a whatever you are dude because I've never been so disrespected for wanting something so little. read more

I ordered parts on line to avoid lines during these trying time. Arrived at store to pickup parts. Went to checkout and was meet by rude (not my best discretion of him but being kind). Told him is was there to pickup my order. He said "get in line" I said I had placed order on line. His response was (GET IN LINE". The line was roughly 15 people. I politely told him where he could put my order and left. This Manager or assistant manager (grey shirt) is bad need of attitude adjustment for customer service. read more

Horrible customer service! I went in to have my sons battery exchanged & with all the male employees standing around doing nothing! No one would help me carry in the battery let alone carry it out or even help me with the door. These guys were very rude! I'm 5'2 105lbs & not one of these guys would help me. Not only was that an issue but the warranty for the battery only gave me a small discount. According to the clerk. If you get a bad battery then your only allowed to exchange it 1 time. Anymore than that & it's only prorated or a small discount. We got the battery 8/12/12. It was suppose to have a 2 year warranty! 1. Bad Customer Service 2. No Help from any employees 3. Warranty only covers 1 exchange ( even if the battery is bad) Maybe Orileys or batteries plus or anywhere would be better! Beware of purchasing anything here! No product is truly backed by them & the customer service is horrible!! read more

Went in to Batteries Plus to get my Optima battery checked on my (new to me) auto. Tech told me the battery was bad. Tech no longer recommends Optima but that the house brand is better. I passed and went over to Auto Zone across the street. Auto Zone tech told me that the battery was good, was less than 2 years old and only needed a recharge. They also offered to check my alternator and charge the battery. All for no fee. In conclusion...Batteries Plus will rip off your grandma. Auto Zone gives good service. read more

I love this auto parts store. They are always willing to help and check out your car for free, however I always tip them because I appreciate the service they provide. I have shopped at this Auto Zone for over 10 years. Today I went in to purchase windshield wipers. The original staff member treated me in a disrespectful manner and as if I was a waster of his time. He even past me off to one of the Managers (very smart man, I have to say). That Manager listened to my concerns (which I was already fired up from an earlier horrible encounter elsewhere) and acknowledged my feelings in a caring and professional manner. Once the Manager finalized my purchase needs, he immediately pulled another Manager to the side to discuss the situation. For me that is what matters. A lot of people complain to get free items. I don't, I complain for education so I don't have to experience the same thing again and so no one else has to experience it. With good Managers like this Auto Zone has, I think I will continue shopping at this one for another decade (as long as they keep this quality of management). read more

I came in to get my battery checked. I waited in line a good ten minutes before it was my turn. It was a busy Wednesday afternoon. I did not mind the wait; However, when it was my turn i approached the gentlemen at the register and i told him i needed my battery checked he than asked me if i could wait to the side while he helped more customers? I was moved to the side and stood there very confused. After he helped out two more customers he ended up going outside to assist one of them with their vehicle. Meanwhile another employee saw me standing there and he offered to assist me instead. I understand they were busy but the point of a line is to help customers in order as they come in. You don't get to pick and choose who you'd like to assist. On top of this the gentleman that ended up assisting me was not helpful at all. My issue was not resolved when i left auto zone. read more

I was very happy with my visit! I was in and out within 30 mins and had my battery replaced. The manager kept me updated on the wait time and was so friendly! Service guys were rude and not helpful. I went in to get my battery tested and one of the guys went to get the machine that tests it and the other worker shouts "what did I tell you? The customer has to bring in the battery so we can test it. This is the last time" all while I'm standing there... so since that guy said that it's the last time the other rep helps me and that same guy shouts across the store "where are you going? I said no more." The guy went and tested my battery anyways. Then proceeds to tell me if I need a replacement they won't do it because they can't right now... even though it was slow. My friend who was with me asked if they don't help replace anymore and he goes we do just not right now... ok? That makes no sense. He tears my battery and says it's 0% but not failing. So it could be my alternator so just bring it back tomorrow morning... not real sure why I'm told to bring it back tomorrow when I'm there then and now. Luckily I had a little bit of juice in my battery to start it and bring it to a more competent auto zone. I work in the mornings I don't have time to mess around and come back in the morning for no reason. They almost acted is if I came in 5 min before closing. I came over two hours before. This is the closest autozone to my house but I will never come to this one again. I will go to the one at cactus and 40th because they are helpful and friendly. Never again at this one. read more

By far the worst customer service ever!! I came in and this one guy was just rude and very unhelpful, I asked if he can install a windshield wiper for me and he said no take it to your mechanic, I didn't argue about it so I just said okay and left... But I will never be back there ever again!! It's not about him not helping me it's just the way it was handled, it could've been a little more nicer. read more

Alright for an auto parts store. They don't carry anything on hand for hybrids so pretty much everything for my car has to be ordered. Luckily, things are delivered the next day. I asked if corrosion protection grease came with a battery purchase. The female store manager with curly hair and glasses laughed and kind of rudely said "uh, no". I saw this manager quickly grab the free grease attached to the new battery terminal (after an employee fetched it for her) and throw it in the counter, probably because I was already purchasing a packet for $1.50. She thought I didn't see, but I did. How dishonest! I'm not going to waste time returning it, but that $1.50 sale got her store another 1 star review. read more
