I can't stress enough how great the customer service is here. My friend and I were road tripping on a Sunday from L.A. when her car slowly started to shake. We stopped at the Camarillo location where Jose was nice enough to do a test to see what was wrong. He told us what part needed to be replaced, but unfortunately their location didn't have it in stock. He was able to confirm that the next town over had it. He called to confirm as did we when we got outside. Sergi greeted us when we made it to the front. Turns out we also needed a specific piece in order to replace the part. We were told by both locations that replacing it would be easy just by simply following a YouTube video. Maybe because it wasn't too busy by the time we checked out, but Sergi offered to do the work. My friend have him a glove and he went to town. It probably would've taken us at least half an hour had we done it ourselves, but it took him less than 5 minutes from the time he walked out the front door of the shop. The first time I went, it was not busy but it was still confusing as to which employees did what. There were goofy looking guys that just kind of bobbed back and forth from the back to the floor, but were rude and seemed inconvenienced when people would attempt to ask questions. I needed a cabin air filter and regular air filter, so that was easy enough. The issue came when I wanted the cleaner kit for the K&N cabin and regular air filters. I was informed that they had the regular air filter kit, but the cabin cleaner kit was out of stock. Not a problem, I knew I had plenty of time until I actually needed the cleaners, but was just trying to get them so I wouldn't have to deal with finding it later. Anyhow, fast forward to tonight. Same awful service. Guys in a hurry to avoid helping, being goofy and wandering from the back to the register, will look at the computer then disappear again. It is nearly impossible to get them to answer the phone. Even if they do, they generally just put you on hold indefinitely. Veronica sold me the wrong item, even though I assured her it was wrong and she kept telling me she knew what she was talking about. Now I will have to return the wrong item. And go elsewhere for the item I needed. Not sure if there is ever a "good time" to shop at this location. They're not very helpful or knowledgeable and I have been at various times of the day/night. read more

So I went to AutoZone 6391 because my battery died at another Autozone and I needed a jumpstart. I get there and they tested my battery and the guy there said "oh yeah it's the battery, the alternator and starter looks good." So I bought the battery, he installed it, and I was about to leave. But then I started my car and then it would barely turn at all and died almost immediately afterwards, so I went back in and asked, and then another employee told me that oh yeah actually now your alternator is broken and in testing it we drained the battery. So their employees sold me a battery that was going to fix it and then then drained it to tell me it was broken. This is disgusting work practice and you need to make this right. read more

Extremely poor customer service at this Oxnard location!! I asked if they could help me change out my car battery for me after purchasing a new platinum one from them and 3 employees to include 1 manager would not change it out for me. They were not eager to provide any type of physical assistance nor communicate in a professional manner. After standing there and looking at them for a moment, I asked if they could let me borrow some tools. Fortunately they were able to provide me with tools so I could change it out myself. This was the worst experience at auto store I've ever experienced. Don't recommend. I waited patiently for the employees to help me. I was told to wait outside, and they'll replace my wipers. So after waiting 25 mins. With no assistance or even an acknowledgment I walked in so I can see if they were available. But the employee was very rude and said, he can't help me till there's no one in line. I said, oh I see other employees on the floor. I don't understand why they can't assist me. He began to argue with me and this point I said never mind. May i have refund. He said, well you gotta wait till I'm done with the line. Everything seemed like an issue and an inconvenience. I asked him his name he refused. Bc his customer service was terrible. I asked for the manager and then the employee refused to give me his name, and said I'm not the manager keeper. Then another employee laughed said. Juan isn't here. So I found out the manager wasn't here and left. Then a customer started cussing and using derogatory words towards me because of the disrespect of autozone employee was showing. Creating more chaos. Wish I could give one star. read more

If O'Reilly doesn't have it..Go to Napa I won't use AutoZone anymore why because most the stuff sits on the shelf for years and doesn't work and when you try to take it back the same day because when you're in the parking lot testing it out, not working, they do not honor their own policy or taking their faulty equipment back or at least exchanging it dude said he couldn't give me a refund if it was open damaged are used. No problem I took back everything I bought that day and went to Walmart for my fuses worked like a champ and next day stopped by napa to pick up everything I brought at AutoZone NEVER AGAIN. I came in today to grab a Cabin Air Filter and an Engine Air Filter for my Prius and received stellar customer service from both associates who were working there today. I had initially called to place an item on hold and the associate I spoke with was very helpful and went over the different available models (didn't get his name). After I initally attempted to install the Cabin AF, I actually thought it was too big. Turns out that I just wasn't inserting it properly and Hermon (a different helpful associate) came out to assist me even though it was busy and he was the one who offered his assistance. Walked into the store to buy oil for my car. I pulled up to the counter to ask if they could honor Walmarts prices which they did but said they had a better deal through a different oil. When I declined and said I didn't want that oil as my car only takes "Dexus Oil". The manager shook his head at me for simply not wanting the oil he recommended. I seen that they were offering a promo for 7 dollars off for texting the word "Auto" to a certain number as long as the purchase was over 30 dollars. I did so and received the text for a 7 dollar coupon. My subtotal came out to be just over 30 dollars. I showed the cashier (Victor R) the coupon and when he scanned it I did not lower the price. I asked if he could scan again. After the second attempt he said he could not honor the coupon because it wasn't working. I then asked if he could take the 7 dollars off anyway as the coupon should still be honored. He said no because the coupon isn't scanning. He said I must have used it in a different store because it isn't working. I explained that I had barely been to AutoZone and that I couldn't have used it. He then proceeded to call me a liar and told me to that he has no time for me because had customers waiting in line. Is this really how AutoZone treats it's customer's. Great customer service from all those there. I had a problem with my air conditioning and the nice man helped me with my purchase. Unfortunately the item didn't fix the problem and I had to return the item but even then I still received great customer service. I will definitely recommend them in the future.
