This has been my go to location for tires over the last 10 years and I trust them with my vehicles. Their prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. I was here a few weekends ago for new tires and had a good experience. Ricky was the sales associate who helped me and provided great customer service from start to finish. He ensured that I got the tires I wanted and was a good communicator as some issues came up with my appointment (not their fault or mine) just some issues with my wheel locks that we hadn't accounted for. I like this spot because they take appointments and are respectful of the customers time. Ricky was upfront with the wait time and didn't overcommit. Even when there was a setback due to my tire locks he still assured me my vehicle could be back to me by the time I needed it which I really appreciated. I got new tires and will be coming back soon to have some more work done. Cost upfront was clear and again, the prices are reasonable when I compared them to other local spots. Been a customer for at least 11 yrs maybe longer. Have been taking all my vehicles, my children's vehicles, my grandchildren's vehicles to be fixed to get tires referred people to them. My husband went last week to get estimate for tires. Two men there discussing something. And that's understandable but never acknowledged him so walked over to tv . Still never acknowledged so left. Just say hi anything. I called I think his name was Chris I know manager because he told me. He was very rude with me and told me sorry we couldn't get to him in five minutes. He said I looked at him when he came in. Then said my husband slammed door and almost broke the glass. I was not there so I can't say but I know my husband and he is a very mellow guy. Initially, the service seemed professional and clean. However, upon picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed a loud scraping noise. It turns out the technicians bent my splash guard out of the way to gain access instead of simply removing it (it takes 60 seconds) To make matters worse, they didn't even attempt to bend it back, forcing me to fix it myself. Dropped truck off at 12pm for alignment. I was told it will be ready by 3pm. I call at 5pm get told they're just pulling it in and to come at 630 for pickup I get called at 5:55 saying they won't do the wheel alignment because of a little crack in CV boot as they don't feel comfortable. I came here because I had a flat tire, and they helped me almost instantly. I needed a quick patch, and they took care of it right away. The staff was extremely nice, helpful, and honest throughout the whole process. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, not just getting the job done. As a younger woman, with a little car experience, I've never felt like they were trying to over sell me and they tell me what my car actually needs vs what I can wait a bit longer on. Sam the manager is not a customer service oriented person. He lets his staff talk to their customers any way they feel. Went to them to get a flat repair 40 minutes before they closed and the female that was working said they were too busy and it was too late to do it and I see two guys one was playing on his phone and the other was sweeping the garage bay. Called and talked to Sam and he got an attitude with me so I called another Firestone to ask if they have a cut off when they would do a flat repair and like good customer service providers they said no. Poor interaction and lack of professionalism from the associate on phone when trying to schedule an oil change, etc. When I shared I would need to wait for vehicle, Carlos kept insisting I tell him when I wanted to come in. Never acknowledging, even after several attempts to clarify that when I schedule, he understood, I was waiting and he would consider when scheduling. At least 3 times he asked, "when do you want to come in". When I chose a time, he said it was unavailable vs giving Firestone options knowing my situation- a waste of time. He never clarified the vehicle I'd be bringing in (I have at least 2 on record). By that time, I didn't want to risk my actual auto service would reflect the same lack of professionalism. After call, I quickly sought another option and encountered a much more pleasant interaction when scheduling. Took my car in for an oil change on Saturday, May 17th and I had to leave a review because the customer service I received was outstanding. I wish I took down the names of the two Gentlemen that helped me when I dropped off and picked up. They were extremely friendly and made for a pleasant experience. They offer a free tire check. It only takes 15-45 minutes if they don't ignore you and you leave pissed off. This place has went downhill since "Gabe" left. Special ordered tires. Waited a week to get my tires. Left Brand New 23 Tacoma sport there from 10am-5pm. Car was just detailed the day before. They left grease everywhere over rims tires and truck. Kept original tires as they only have 600 miles on them. I watch the tech SLAM my tanaeu cover closed repeatedly trying to close it to fit them in the bed of truck.. Had they communicated I could have just tied them down with it clipped open. They damaged the tanaeu cover so now it does not close right as it is bent. 900 dollar part from dealer. They also broke a plastic center hub to one of my rims. After spending 1200 on a new set of A/T tires. Both me and my vehicle were treated incredibly disrespectfully. Firestone on King st in Northampton MA needs to learn what customer service means. I have filed a complaint with customer service and filed another formal complaint against that store! I've been bringing my vehicles here for years as it's a convient location for my travels and they've done really good work. However this location has gone down hill a little bit the past couple of years it seems. I'm not sure if it's an issue with being short staffed or what but appointments are not what they used to be. Had a 9AM appointment to get my wheel alignment checked out and corrected under their lifetime wheel alignment deal. They advised that it wouldn't be ready until 2:30PM - 3:00PM. Luckily I got it back around 12PM. It seems like they might be overbooking their appointments. When I went in to get the car, I was just handed the keys, told to sign, and given the piece of paper with the good wheel alignment check. I wasn't given the original wheel alignment check, nor given an explination of what was found / how off was the alignment. Granted, I didn't ask when I went to get my vehicle but this was different than previous visits. read more

I made a appointment for 10am to have four tires replaced and a standard 4-wheel alignment. It took five hours, and they didn't even get the alignment done. I am guessing when you're not there waiting, they take in walk-ins ahead of appointments, but I don't have proof. The so-called manager was in denial and was kind of belligerent and argumentative. Then they tried to bait and switch me on the tire price. I printed out the OUT THE DOOR PRICE from my online price quote. He tried to add sales tax to the out the door price I got. bought tires there a year ago and went back to have a tire that was low on air filled up. sales person was aggravated with my request and told me to wait outside and it would take 15 minutes. I waited while 3 guys were standing around shooting the bull and one was smoking his cig. I went back in and asked the other sales person if I should just leave and go somewhere else. he said they would be with me as soon as possible then some guy comes to me tells me to move my car over one stall so he could fill it. and did it with a frown on his face. I really put this guy out. bad service, bad attitude, poor management. I will never go back. these jerks need sensitivity training.. and basic customer service skills training. Stay away if possible! I have lifetime free alignment that was purchased years ago so I return for service. I made an appointment five days in advance for my alignment. I arrived at my designated time and was asked what number I could be reached at. I said I would wait for my vehicle. I was then told it would be three hours - for an alignment? With an appointment? I was informed after I asked why and was told that all these other people had appointments. They all had appointments at 2:15? Yes it did take them three hours, two hours before they even got my car on the rack. Rude service and was handed the information on the alignment, no other paperwork so I cannot even reference any other information on my vehicle. I purchased my tires elsewhere so I am glad I did not spend a penny at this Firestone. I will try the one in Thousand Oaks next time I need my vehicle serviced. read more

Not a big deal, but then was told we'd have to come back tomorrow. I understand they take walk ins, and later in the afternoon it gets busy. I had an appointment at 10:30 on a Sunday to get a wheel lug fixed. 3 hours later they finally quoted me over $350 for the fix, and gave me a laundry list of other things wrong with my van. I only was looking for one fix only, and that was the wheel lug only. I left and went to my regular mechanic who fixed it in 20 minutes and for $51. All other items that were recommended by Firestone was NOT needed, per my honest mechanic I will never go back. read more

A couple weeks ago my daughter prepared to move from Camarillo to Virginia. She took her car to the dealer (Kia) initially and they provided the requested service (tire rot/oil change) but recommended new tires and a battery change. My daughter did not have more time to wait due to a medical condition so we decided we would take it back the next week. I called to confirm the service and the service guy said we *had* to do tires on Thursday or Friday, they don't do tires on Saturday. That was not going to work so we went to Firestone in Camarillo and worked with Jill. Jill has been working on cars for a while and she is only 19. She checked the car and recommended what she would do to get us to VA safely. New tires, new battery and an alignment. Because of my daughter's deafness, Jill texted everything to her also and treated her wonderfully. Now on the other side of the country, my daughter knows exactly what services she needs. One of my truck went down, they got my truck in and out within two days with a ton of work needed due to another tire company doing a horrible job. This is the first review I have ever done. We showed up at about 3:00 Sunday afternoon with a failing tire. (The tread was coming off)This Firestone auto care says they are open until 6:00. We are from the LA area and we're in desperate need of at least one tire. Nelson Galvez the service manager said he was short staffed and could not help us. They were supposedly open for three more hours but could not help us even in an emergency situation. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

Grey haired guy got all uppity with cause I did most of my business at the Ventura location. I informed him that I started working in Camarillo. I went in cause I had a nail in the center of my front tire. He informed me that he will check it after 2pm. It was before 9am when I brought the car in. I asked if I could bring it in after 2. He stated that I would have to bring it back tomorrow and mostly have to wait since he was fully booked. So I leave my vehicle and wait for a phone call. He calls after 4:30 pm and tells me I need a new tire. It's gonna cost 160. I tell him I have a lifetime of road coverage. He said not for this. So I said go ahead. They call me back close to closing to tell me it's done. They held my vehicle hostage for over 8 hours just to fix a nail that could've been easily patched. They did it all the time in Ventura. This place is sketchy and the front desk guy is a rude jerk. NEVER am I coming back to this place. read more
