Called ahead and was told they could replace and install my battery. I jumped my truck and drove over, only to be told when I got there they couldn't do it because they were short staffed. So now my truck is dead in their lot. I asked if they had a portable jump starter I could use and was told they don't offer that anymore because one was taken. Then the employee joked that I should call AAA. That's not just inconvenient--that's completely unprofessional. You told me you could do the job, got me there, and then left me stranded with zero help. To make it worse, the employee admitted he wasn't very good at installing batteries. That's a training and leadership issue, not a customer problem. My wife had to load up our kids and drive out just to give me a jump so I could leave. If you can't provide a service, don't tell customers you can. And if you put someone in that position, at least offer a real solution instead of a joke. read more

I ordered delivery service for same day delivery and when the engine coolant arrived it was already opened. The cap was intact but, the foil seal was halfway opened and there was splash marks on the top of the container. This product was tampered with. read more

"Obviously I didn't know much about cars" she gave me what I thought was the write one, went to put the seafoam in my tank and spilled it all over my car wasting it. I called and asked Autozone 5715 if they could check my battery and then if I bought it if they could replace it since I knew it seemed like it was dying, and they confirmed yes they could. I drove promptly after to do just that and then they told me the tools got stolen and that they couldn't do that and even if I bought the battery they couldn't replace it. This autozone was trying to enforce the mask mandate. None of the employees were wearing masks. Upon asking why I needed one if they don't have masks on I was told "we are all vaccinated" I'm also vaccinated. The clerk then told me she doesn't care, they work around each other every day and they don't need to wear masks. If you are going to enforce a mask mandate, you also need to wear a mask. read more

First off, the service that you receive from AutoZone is hands down the best you can get from any type of business. I was in the Nard a few weeks ago and I was looking for a part for a truck that was not common. Angel (one of the employees) went above and beyond to help me out. I mean, he spent the time to look through their hundreds of fittings behind the counter. A line started and he asked me to come on back so that I could find the correct fitting. Some time had passed and both of us were unsure if the american thread would even work on the german fuel pump (Bosch) we were trying to fit it to, but the time and attention that Angel spent with me was the best service I had ever gotten. read more

No customer service skills. Gentleman behind the register with a cap worn backwards and the gentleman in the grey shirt never acknowledged any customer presence. I worked for Chief Auto Parts before it became Autozone back in 95. Customer service was at the forefront. We'd get in trouble for not acknowledging customers in the store. Glad I can navigate my way around these stores and look up my own items because I was never asked if I needed help. In the end of the transaction I looked at the gentleman and said, "thank you." We came in to test our battery and the lady said 1 1/2 hours so we left and went shopping for black Friday. 3 hours later, no call or voicemail so we called and a guy said 15 more minutes. I just didnt understand that. We started to drive there and when we got there. The guy which I think he is a manager got the battery and my husband asked him twice is the battery charged and completely ignored him. I started to get annoyed then he said no it's dead so my husband asked him did they have Bosch brand and he said no. Not asking us if we needed to find a battery knowing our battery is dead. Went to get my battery charged and let them know it could be dead and they said to leave it for an hour and come back. I do so and they tell me it is so I go to O'Reillys on Saviers (since I have the warranty with them) and they said the battery looks chargeable so I leave it with them for an hour. The staff here is pretty friendly and professional. This particular AutoZone had a employee appreciation lunch one of the times I went here. They were grilling carne asada and prepping a huge meal outside for their staff. I thought that was pretty impressive and shows that they are good to their employees as well as their customers. Let me super honest, it is absolutely intimidating for me to walk in a place like auto zone because I know nothing about cars (don't judge me lol). My Jeep needed a new air filter and the dealership quoted me at a ridiculous price. So I figured I would ask elsewhere. I am so happy I went to auto zone. Cassandra was so helpful and knowledgeable! I went here after a loooong day of working on some terrible drum brakes and the guy working named Brayan (I think) was working. He was suuuuper knowledgeable. I would've trusted this guy to finish up my car for me. He pulled up some pictures of drum brakes, sold me a new drum because mine was messed up and a spring kit because one of the springs was bad, and helped me complete a project beyond that by answering all the questions we had about drum brakes in general. Convenient and clean store. Staff is helpful, but the store is also popular so sometimes you have to wait for assistance. The store isn't huge, but has a good selection of most things you need for your car and to fix stuff yourself. Well, I ended up needing a new battery so even though it was almost closing time, the staff found me a decent priced battery and installed it with no hassles. I was fed up with high priced parts from the BMW dealer and decided to replace the rotors and pads myself. It is an M6 model and though not rare, trying to get the right parts was a struggle and Omar, went above and beyond to help me out. He made at least 3 phone calls trying to get the right parts and the information the suppliers gave him was both conflicted and confusing. He was very persistent, and did mange to get a set for one axle; and said he would have to call me back tomorrow after the supplier would give him an updated part number. I thought, not likely to get a call back, who calls back these days... Well Omar did, plus he sent me a text of the correct kit that needed to be special ordered. He was truly concerned about getting me what I needed. I was out of town and again he called to tell me the parts were in and he helped my wife carry the parts (rotors are heavy) to the car and put them into the truck. Walked into the store in hopes that I could get some spray paint so that I could paint my bike frame. I told the cashier if they could send someone to open up the doors for the paint due to the fact that there locked. I must have waited ten minutes before asking her again. The store really wasn't busy so I assumed they'd send someone right away. I ended waiting another 45 minutes before an associate had accidentally noticed me. She had never been told that I was waiting for the paint and ended up talking to another customer. I ended up leaving after waiting for about an hour. I would not recommend shopping here as they cannot seem to help out a paying customer. read more

Another hats off to Omar. Went in last week to get new bulbs for burnt out headlights. He checked to computer and got me a set. Took them home and found they were the wrong ones. I had opened the package by then. I checked my computer and found it had the same info, listing the wrong lights. Took them back and contacted Omar. He came out to my car to verify the bulbs were not correct. He looked and me and said, "I'll make it right". We went in and he did so. I will go back. Very satisfied with the service they provided for us. We went in a bit ago to purchase a battery and the guy who helped us change it out really helped us out! It was late night and our battery was about to give our and had a long drive the next morning so we really appreciate him for helping us out unfortunately I can't remember his name he was in his 20's but his store number is #5715. Unfortunately while he was changing out our battery someone went in and stole a battery and I am very angry that the other older employee who was in the store at the time of the incident came out 5 minutes later and scolded at the employee who was helping us out at the time because he was outside helping us. In my personal opinion if he who was inside of the store at the time saw this happening he could had easily came out and brought it to our attention that this person was stealing and we could had helped to get the license plates number or something. I hope this guy doesn't lose his job over a battery because he really did a big favor for us!! I will be calling the manager tomorrow to explain the situation in case of anything. This could happen to anyone and employees shouldn't be put at risk or accountable for situations like this!! read more
