I came in at the end of November to purchase new headlights and windshield wipers for my car before going on a trip after Thanksgiving. Kurtis helped me to find the correct headlights and windshield wipers for my car. He then offered to help me install them which turned out not to be an easy task especially in the pouring rain. Another coworker came out and helped install the headlights because the space to do so was very, very small and difficult to get to. I appreciate that they got them changed for me so I could have a safe trip even though they weren't as easy as they should have been to exchange especially in the pouring rain. Makade was SO helpful. We tested our battery and knew it needed to be replaced after requiring two jumps in the past week. We're traveling from MN and couldn't get any help from the dealership down the street (when we only have one car). Came to autozone and Makade jumped right into help us. Where there were difficulties, he sought out a solution. We find this is rare these days... thank you for persisting! In September, on a whim, I went into AutoZone after a doctor's appointment and picked up some wiper blades on sale. Fast forward 2 1/2 months and it is finally raining hard enough I remembered them. I had, it turned out, purchased the wrong blades for my car, and broke the fastener clip trying to force them to work. I explained the situation to Leroy, the parts manager, who went out into the cold, blustery parking lot, diagnosed the problem, and got me hooked up with the proper refill, without extra charge... then again without extra charge installed them for me! When I went to return a package of rear view mirror adhesive because it failed to hold & was treated like I *might* not be smart enough to follow directions on the package, was told no one ever returned one in the history of the store & was sold another for 3 times the price with the exact same product inside. I will return to O'Reilly's because the people there don't talk down to me & are courteous. Stuff happens, things don't work. I worked retail long enough to know that returns are part of the process. Apparently Autozone employees think you are stupid if you have a return. I don't know how they treat their male customers but were very condesending towards this female. read more

My tesla car key is battery out that cause the car couldn't move. I needed to change the battery inside the car key to restart it and it might work. I went to at least 10 stores (on foot) and none of them had the battery I needed. I went to this AutoZone and they were super nice and patient with me and my family. Unfortunately they don't have the parts either but the employees offered to call all the stores (that we haven't went to yet) around to see if they had any in stock. But they didn't, and the only store that had it was one 20 minutes away by car. There was nothing we could do about it and because of the car couldn't move. But Philip volunteered to help DRIVE there for us and bring it back to our car. It took 40 minutes of driving, and I am very thankful for his help. It ended up fitting but the car still didn't start, so he helped watching YT videos and FIXED IT!! Thank you do much Philip! You saved my family vacation, and hours worth of time getting towed away. I paid for a part over the phone that was in stock. they set it aside for me to pick up next day. four days and three trips latter no part. went in today to pick it up, Kevin the auto zone worker refused to give it to me without a receipt due to the fact that I changed my voice when describing his employees who lied about it being there. auto zone wont do anything about wasting my time and gas so I would just avoid them all together. they did not need a receipt after i talked to district manager as it was in there system and as i paid for it over the phone. read more

After getting some misinformation from another auto store Oh Oh Oh I was frustrated. I called Auto zone got accurate information and got my battery replaced there. They even gave me $18 for my old battery. I will more than likely return for any further issues with my car as the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful read more

My car was in need of a new battery and I went to Auto Zone to get a new one and to hopefully have someone install it for me. I have a VW Beatle and they are known to be very difficult when it comes to the installation of batteries. Despite this, Kurtus changed my battery without any hesitation, was extremely kind and helpful. When we offered to give him a tip he simply said "I can't accept this but thank you so much. I'd want someone to do the same for my daughter. Just pay it forward!" Kurtus could have just said it was to much work or that he didn't have time, but he took 45 minutes out of his day and did this for me and I'm very thankful! read more

I went in asking for a side mirror for my car. The person working told me it would be 40$ and would have to be shipped, my dad had looked online and found a mirror in stock there for $14. The guy told me it wouldn't fit on my car, when on the back it says it was made for my car, and it did. He either is trying to take advantage of a poor college girl, or is really bad at his job. Either way, never trust what they say. read more
