I went a few days ago after passing by and seeing a few nice cars. I became interested in a Chevy Blazer in what appeared to be decent condition and began to ask the young man questions about the car. The first thing I asked was how long the car had been at the lot. He said one week. I began inspecting the car and noticed the weatherstripping on the side of the car was peeling off. The salesman said it wasn't like that when they got it, and that it could be fixed before I bought the car. I asked if he could open the trunk so I could inspect the back. He brought the key out and attempted to open it, but it would not work. When he turned the key, the doors locked and unlocked, but the button to open the trunk did not work. He told me that he could have his mechanic fix it. I asked if I could turn on the car and see how it sounded before doing a test drive. When I turned the ignition, nothing happened. I tried a few more times and told him it was not working. He began to tell me that it was probably the battery, and that it sometimes happens when the cars are parked at the lot for a long period of time and not run. But 10 minutes earlier he had told me the car was only at the lot for a WEEK! The batteries don't die after just a week of no use. He came back with a machine and jump started the car. He said that he could have the battery replaced with the PepBoys battery before I test drove the car. All in all, this place tries to sell lemons. The salesman was very nice and very patient with me, but the car was junk. It was nice that he was eager to have the parts replaced before I purchased the car, but the fact that Autoworkz is attempting to sell car that can't even make it off the lot is bad business. I purchased a car and it was nothing but trouble from the day I bought it. The water pump went out 5 days after buying the car and the bumper fell off while driving on the freeway. Drive by this place all the time and once in a blue moon there is a nice vehicle there. Today one I saw actually got me to pull over, park and get out to go check it out. There was nobody to be found to answer any questions, but a sticky on the door with a number and "be back in 5min". Well I waited there for a good 15 min, noticing that on all the cars there is this thick black goop on the tires, obviously some kind of dealer product to make the tires look new. Don't touch the stuff like I did, it's like primordial ooze. Anyways so I got sick of waiting so I called the number, the guy said oh the salesman stepped out with another client. Fine, I said, I'm leaving, half expecting him to apologize and get my number or something, instead he just said ok sir! Ha you guys just lost a customer. My fiance and I purchased a car at this dealership about a year ago and this car has given us NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. My way older Toyota has held up better than this lemon over the year. It has been in and out of the repair shop over the last year, about once every 2-3 months, with thousands of dollars spent in repairs, way more than its worth by now, and it still is not even paid off. I regret us making this purchase here. We are even looking into filing a claim with the local court system on this issue. In the mean time, we are also cutting our loses with this car and purchasing a well kept vehicle from a reputable dealership. Please do not purchase a vehicle from this lot and end up in a situation like ours, or many others, no matter how tempting it may be, because they will finance anyone (which should have already been a HUGE red flag). please before you buy any car or truck always look on the interest rate . those scammers they will try to gave you the most high interest rate which is 25% rate that mean u pay more interest then the car us worth .. please always bring someone with you that knows about buying cars and dont fell to there crap telling you just bring $1000 down payment so he can approve you . yes u will get approve with 25% interest rate any lenders will want ur bussness . and dealers get get travel bonus or cash bonus for gaveing there client high interest rate... and make sure the car you buying is not have accident report or has ben rented by law you have to be notified ..if they dont mention that to you then you have case under AUTO FRUAD and the dealer can get suit and 100% they will lose . you as consumer you are protected by consumer law . and if the car is new has low miles then 36k or less then 3 years then u will get protected under lemon law but you wont get 100% money back like original owner . but you will get all your money back and your downpaypent and all the interest money you have paid . if you ben lie on your contract stated your car was never involved or if your car was rented by law you have to be notified . if not you can hire consumer law . or lemon law / under AUTO FRUAD or you can sue them in small claim court . read more

I'm not even sure where to even begin with these incompetent and unprofessional guys. They sold me a car that broke down every other time I started it. They kept taking it back to fix it and left me carless for weeks atta time. Whenever I would get the car back, it would be dirty, have no gas left in it and i'd even sometimes find fast food bags left in the back seat. Literally looked like they took it for a joy ride and then gave it back to me. They were absolutely no help and extremely hard to deal with. I will never go back and I urge everyone to please stay away from this place. They're a bunch of scammers. One of the days I was in there, some customer came in to sell his car and one of the managers literally told me, "Watch, I'm about to low-ball and hustle this guy." Then walked about and did exactly that. DON'T TRUST THEM! I'm going to be filing a report with the better business bureau soon as well for what they did to me. I ended up have to get ride of the car I bought from them because I was so scared one day it was going to just stop working and I'd be left with nothing. I am writing this review to hopefully save you your time and your money. Don't step foot on this lot. My mother and I went in one evening and leased a car. Everything seemed fine until I took it to my mechanic and he told me there was a serious engine problem. He explained the problem to me and I immediately took my car back to the dealer since I had the warranty. first off, even tho I was told to arrive at 9 am, the "manger" did not arrive until 10:30 when he stumbled thru the door he did not even apologize for our wasted time. This man was extremely unprofessional . When we began to tell him the problems with the car he NEVER made eye contact, he spoke so low we could hardly hear him .. But he assured me he would repair the problem. These guys had my car for 7 DAYS and when they told me it was ready & fixed they would not give me any type of proof of repair. Nor would these guys even make eye contact, once again. Instead of giving me proof the owner extended my warranty, which made me somewhat satisfied. So I took the vehicle right back to my mechanic and he told me they didn't fix my engine, the problem was never even attempted to be repaired. So at this point I was livid. They sold me a complete lemon and they knew it. When I called they asked me how it was going and I told them that my car was not repaired they put me on hold and Once he knew that I knew my car was never fixed he offered to void the entire contract and refund my entire down payment. They knew that would be best because that way they could avoid another lawsuit. I got extremely lucky in my situation but not everyone will get as lucky as I did so I highly recommend to avoid stepping foot onto this car lot. The owner of the place hid behind his desk the entire time like a coward! we had to asked about 5 times to speak with him before he actually came out , even tho I knew he could hear us asking for him because his door was wide open. Please be careful. Not sure why other reviews say that this dealer stands behind their cars unless the dealer itself wrote them (very suspicious!) We bought two cars from this dealer in the same month and had quite a struggle to get them to pay off the cars we traded in even though they put them up for sale right away. Took several request to get them to pay. Told that the checks in the mail. It's been months now and the still refuse to honor the contract and pay the difference between what we payed and what the payoff was. DMV process took for ever. Warranty is a sham. Bought a truck with a blown head gasket. They told us they needed to bring truck back from Monterey to their dealership so they could fix it. They said it was the radiator cap and that they replaced it. The cap was already new and marked so I could see if it was replaced. 500 plus mile trip for nothing but lies! Made repairs to both vehicles totalling over $7000 and they sent a check for an even $200 to cover it. We been lied to at every interaction with these people. They could not be further from honest!
