I would definitely keep checking their website inventory to appreciate the selection and hopefully do business with them again someday. I had just walked out of one dealership days before because they reminded me of how horrible typical dealership formats are, making you wait for hours with the other crowd in queue. Vehicle was better than advertised at a fair price. The team here has built a great, customer-focused auto business, and the process was simple, straightforward, and stress-free from beginning to end. Darya was responsive via text and answered all my questions quickly prior to seeing the vehicle. Was even friendlier and more genuine in person, and made the transaction easy. Chris was knowledgeable on the test drive, running through the pros and cons of the vehicle honestly and accurately. My experience was excellent, and honestly the complete opposite of what you might expect if you only read the one-star reviews. This is not a traditional "walk-in, browse the lot, take a random test drive" dealership. They operate by appointment only, and their process--including pricing philosophy--is explained clearly on their website. I took the time to read it beforehand, and everything that happened aligned exactly with what they describe. Their vehicles are extremely aggressively priced, and they are also very transparent about condition. Darya was incredibly responsive from the start and sent detailed photos and videos, including close-ups of cosmetic flaws and imperfections. I was flying down from Northern California, so having all of that information upfront mattered--and there were zero surprises. My flight was delayed by about two hours. Since they run by appointment, I contacted them to adjust my arrival time and they were very accommodating. When I arrived, the GX470 was pulled out and ready, and both Mike and Darya took the time to answer every question I had, didn't rush anything, and were honestly funny as hell. On top of that, they have some genuinely amazing stories, which made the experience feel personal instead of transactional. They also have one of the most impressive collections of vehicles I've seen in one place. The purchase process itself was straightforward and smooth. From what I can tell, many of the negative reviews stem from people who either didn't read how this business operates, didn't like that model, or expected a conventional dealership experience. It's a 400hp 400tq Blast of a Machine.. with 4 seats & a Corvette engine! But if you "Punch it" you starve the Rod Bearings). This review is not about the 2005 Pontiac GTO! I would sing Many praises. It is an attempt to warn you about a Dishonest Seller & the lying practice of their ads! MDK International in Burbank CA is a SCAM business! ​ They have a 2005 GTO listed w/5k+ miles. This is a SEMA car. It was created (can we say Rushed 4 SEMA) by GM in 2004. It was never built for "Road Use". It had a Salvage title since birth. Somehow someone somewhere someway managed to "washed the title" & now it's titled w/a clean CA title. Even worse, this (small private)Dealer is Shady! I went and saw/inspected this car last summer. The Check engine light was on & they refused to let me plug in my OBD2 scanner. It has many "Body Mods" (which are ok). And at least 2 "Engine Bolt-Ons". A GM Preformance C.A.I. & some GM Preformance aftermarket exhaust (I assume with CATs since it had to be Smogged in Ca for a title). But we have no way of knowing if the car is safe! This Dealer will allow a test drive, if you have "Full Funding"! Now I see the ad is clearly BS. They claim The ad is 90 days old. I checked this car out in person last June! They claim that the price has held steady (they don't want you to know that, they can't get rid of it!). They wanted just over $30,000 last summer!! The GTO is a great car! This 1, not so much! I was torn between giving 3 or 4 stars and landed on 4, because here's the thing: it's not personal. My guess is every policy Michael and Darya have in place is a direct reaction to some past "customer situation" that didn't go well. At one time, I'm sure they weren't appointment-only. At one time, I'm sure they were generous with test drives. But someone (probably several someones) ruined it for the rest of us. And, well... this is why we can't have nice things. My first experience with MDK honestly wasn't great--similar to the one-star reviews you've probably seen. And I'll be real: those people's experiences were probably valid. Mine was too and it felt pretty bad. I am awesome. I'm honest, upfront, easy to work with. I walked into MDK fully aware of my own awesomeness, and, naturally, I expected Michael and Darya to instantly know it too. But... why would they? They're running a tough business. They deal with strangers every single day. And let's face it--a lot of people suck. Just not me. So yes, I left a little bitter. But I decided not to stew in it and I want to believe that people are good. I liked the vehicle, I liked the price and I went ahead with an inspection, came back ready for a clean slate--and you know what? It was actually great. When I returned to purchase the car two days after my first meeting with them, I had some genuinely nice conversations with both Michael and Darya about all kinds of things. The easiest automobile purchase ever. Purchased my 2001 BMW Z3 roadster from MDK in June. Have been enjoying it so much, I haven't had time to write a review! Darya responded to my inquiry right away, gave me the out the door price with no surprise fees or upsells, had the car ready for a test drive and inspection at the agreed upon appointment time, and let me take as long as needed to look over the car and even let my wife drive it as well. The car was in excellent shape mechanically and cosmetically. It's a hard to find color that gets compliments everywhere I go. I found an excellent mechanic that knows the Z3 inside and out and he found nothing major wrong with the vehicle. I've spent the past few months upgrading the sound system (which nearly cost as much as the car itself), and having a few wear and tear items in the interior repaired. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. LEFT CONFUSED & DISHEARTENED. According to "How to Buy a Used Car Now" (2023) article on Consumer Report's website, test driving the vehicle is listed as an essential step in buying a used car. Test driving is considered standard protocol & procedure--especially for used car shopping. MDK INTERNATIONAL profiles their clientele and prohibits test drives at their discretion--depending on if you will buy the car the same day or not. It's confusing and MDK does not care if they waste your time, energy and money. If I could give this place a -0 stars I would. My Mercedes engine went out on me. I should have read all the negative reviews online before going through the trouble of setting up an appointment via their website, paying for an Uber to go rent a car to then drive all the way to Burbank from W. L.A.. My experience pretty much echoes that of another reviewer re: Darya. Darya was extremely condescending, patronizing, bad faith acting, profiling, poor communication, rude & argumentative attitude. Darya accused me of not being interested in the car and not reading the Carfax--even though I had actually studied it and also performed 2 VIN checks on NHTSA site for recalls & NICB site for theft. Due to own trauma, I shut down and went along with her projections instead of speaking my truth that I actually had not only studied the Carfax, but done extensive research on the car. She then said that if I test-drove it and crashed it, I wouldn't want to pay for it. When I offered my proof of financials--she made a back-handed compliment about my jewelry and declined to see my financials. I'm sorry but a person's jewelry doesn't reflect their financial portfolio or their credit score. Plus, I am paying cash. Darya literally triggered a downward mental health spiral that I struggled with after to wrap my head around. I'm a high-functioning survivor of trauma and live with ADHD & CPTSD, so rumination can be an involuntary symptom. She is wrong and insensitive to nuero-divergent people. Lastly, MDK International is not Better Business Bureau accredited and they have negative reviews on the website which says everything you need to know about this place. I just want to buy a car! This was not a terribly expensive vehicle, but I was treated with complete professionalism. The test drive/examining the car honestly is a better experience since there isn't any other people there, other than the ones who work there. They answered my every questions. Beware. Red Flags Everywhere. Communication: Darya's communication in email was very poor and every response was short. I wanted more detail on the process and requirements for test driving before driving 1.5hrs to visit. It's as though they don't want to work too hard to answer your questions. Not confidence inspiring. Customer Service: They clearly have no real understanding of their customers, the car buying experience, or the average sales cycle. They assume every buyer will see the car online and come in to buy it the same day like a box of cereal. My Experience: I was very motivated to buy one of their cars and emailed to understand a few details and ensure I could make an appointment to test drive. So I prepared financing for the full vehicle amount to prove I was motivated and planned to buy the following weekend if the test drive was smooth. Upon arriving, after driving 1.5 hours, Darya refused to let me test drive because she didn't feel I was serious enough because I had a backup vehicle in mind if I didn't move forward. I was replacing my daily driver but they clearly disqualify and dismiss any buyer who isn't willing to buy the car the same day as seeing it. Note to Management: Just because you have other options in mind doesn't disqualify you as 'not motivated'. Apparently, you can only test drive if you're going to buy the same day, which again, proves they don't understand that a car purchase requires a lot of thought and consideration and a test drive might add another variable to consider. They would not release the car until The check was in hand, even though we had our credit union send a copy of the certified check that was issued for that car and dealer. Worst customer service ever. 0/10. Darya was awful!!!! I only gave it one star because I could not give a 0!!! This could have all been prevented if they communicated properly. I had a very poor experience trying to work with MDK international. I found them to be very unprofessional and lack integrity. I read the poor reviews before trying to work them and disregarded because of what I thought was a decent deal. I'd urge you to consider other people's experiences before deciding to buy from this dealer. I was attempting to purchase a 2016 LX570 for $55,000 from them and was traveling from AZ. First off, there was very poor communication. The dealer would only communicate thru text and ignored my request to even chat about the car over the phone. I examined the pictures thoroughly and reviewed the Carfax, all of which checked out and appeared to be a well looked after car--no reported accidents, 2 reported owners, and 12 carfax records. Against my better judgement, I decided to purchase the vehicle. I gave a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 2 days, booked a one way flight to Burbank for that Friday and was going to drive it home. After physical inspection of the vehicle, it was in much rougher shape than appeared on photos. Little things such as mismatching tires, spare tire dangling around not even tightened, replaced front grill, and overall just more wear and tear than appeared on photos. Again, I'm accustomed to buying used cars and this was all acceptable to me. However, I found several things that should have been disclosed, especially to an out of state buyer. 1. gross evidence of rodent nests in the engine bay (chewed up insulation along the firewall, chewed up and retaped wiring, sticks and debris.) 2. Driver side rear door had been repainted (very poorly too). There was also polish residue on that side of the vehicle like the dealer attempted to polish out. In the end I decided not to purchase the vehicle mostly because of the body work and potential rodent issues. However, that's not why I'm upset or why I had a poor experience with the dealer. The dealer knew the door had been repainted and tried to cover it up by polishing the door. They knew the grille had been replaced as well as the rodent issues. None of this was disclosed prior to my appointment. They figured, the Carfax is clean the buyer won't notice. To me, that alone shows their level of honesty and integrity, but again I could've looked past that and moved on. The part that upsets me is that they aren't willing to refund the deposit. I can understand poor disclosure, I took a chance at purchasing a vehicle out of state and it's difficult to convey condition with just pictures. However, the vehicle was grossly misrepresented--one could argue even deceitfully represented. The professional response would be to apologize for confusion in the condition of the vehicle and refund the deposit. I think this is a very reasonable request--its not like the car was off the market for weeks or that I'm asking for travel reimbursement. But instead they took no responsibility and refused to refund the $500 deposit. To me this shows a lack of professionalism and integrity that I can only assume bleeds into all aspects of their business. I feel fortunate to not have purchased the vehicle and think that a $500 deposit is a small price to pay to avoid a questionable vehicle and supporting an unethical business. read more

I really don't understand all of the bad reviews here. They were courteous, professional, and the "no salesman" business model they employ made for a pressure-free transaction. I had an amazing time buying my rare, LOW mileage, 6-speed 2008 328i sedan. I am an extremely avid BMW enthusiast and know what to look for with used examples of these cars... and that's the important factor. Even they emphasize: "do your research"/"know what you're looking for", as they are NOT a typical dealership where you simply/blindly walk in and check out any car. Their inventory is geared more towards auto enthusiasts looking for a specific (and rare) vehicle. The only caveat in my situation is the vehicle's title I still have yet to receive. They obviously know how to buy right and pass the savings on to the customer. On their website, you can read they price cars low with a minimal markup and it is not negotiable, which initially sounded scary, but once you realize the price is very good, it's also reassuring. Having researched this car I could tell it was a great price. The whole process was extremely easy, Darya was awesome to work with, and Michael came out a few times to talk to me about the car and the repair. This is not your typical car dealership, so I understand why people are having such bad experiences. Disappointment is always the delta between expectation and reality. After reading all the 1 star reviews, I was slightly less disappointed in my experience than I could have been, because I was fully prepared. Yes, the owner is very curt and not very personable. I don't think he means to be, but that's the way it is. Drove 3 hours with an appointment and had proof of funds, but was still dissuaded from doing a test drive because "test drives don't tell you anything". Maybe Michael is used to dealing with a certain type of clientele that knows EXACTLY what they want without needing to shop around and are OK buying cars sight unseen. I unfortunately don't have that much cash to afford that luxury and like to shop around. So overall, this was not the place for me. If you are wealthy and like cool cars, but you don't like to ask too many questions, then this is your place. I'm glad I was at least given the courtesy of a test drive (albeit very short) given my long drive to see the car. Edit: To be clear, I'm not offended and I don't feel entitled. I just prefer to do business with a different type of person. Michael has a lot of cool cars in his inventory, and I may have been inclined to give him my business as I really truly am in the market for a Porsche. He has some 996's at good prices currently. But there is not much interest on Michael's end towards developing any relationship or rapport unless he perceives you as a perfect customer that is buying a car that day. No worries. As with any used car make sure you have. Mechanic check it out B4 you buy. I bought a 2009 s 550 Mercedes Benz 4 matic from them . Car drove real well test driving, low, low, miles under 80 k only 2 other owners before me .didn't notice the left mirror would not open & close I had to personally pay myself to have replaced, last ibs system bad 2300 to repair if there mechanic would have done a scan he would have seen that. Again my fault for not having a mechanic check those things out , a car dealership will only fix enough on a car to sell it, but other than that car runs & operated good.
