I brought him the printout from Audi, and left the car. Later that day, Doug called me to give me the honest work that needed to be done. Audi's $4000 estimate was excessive. I have a mini Cooper and was having a major battery issue and they said they could see me right away, and I made it to their location and they could not have been nicer. Was able to help me with my car, get me a new battery right away. With my car, it takes almost a half an hour to get the battery out and then another half an hour to get the battery in and Dave was kind and efficient and really made me feel like my car was in good hands. I will definitely go to them in the future for any of my car needs and know that they will take good care of me and my car. I really cannot say enough of what a wonderful experience I had.

As an avid 'Yelper' I used Yelp to find a local auto body shop and stumbled upon the rave reviews…read moreof Valley Auto Body. After reading the multiple 5 Star reviews, I figured I should pay them a visit to give me a quote for some work I needed done on my Ford Excursion. At first, I was hesitant as teir location is not really in the best spot. Pay close attention as you have to drive down a side alley way to get to the shop. I was immediately greeted upon ariving and provided with a prompt quote. They took photos of the work requested and noted my information. A few days later, I received an email with a quote for the serivce needed. The work I required was to repair the flaking factory paint on the rear door and door jambs as well as to repair the minor surface rust on the roof rails. I noted that they listened closely to my concerns as they also made optional line items to paint the faded roof rack system and the rear hatch trim piece. Still a bit hesitant, I took the car to another local shop for a second opinion. I'm sure glad I did that. It only proved that Valley Auto Body was the place to go. The second shop quoted me well over 3x the price and warned me several times that this was just a "starting price". I quickly called Oscar to schedule the truck in for service. I was surprised when he promised the car to be done in 5 days. I dropped the truck off on a Monday and Oscar was kind enough to give me a ride home. During the week, Oscar kept in good communication updating me of the status of the work. I even added some work for them to paint the automatic steps with the spray on bedliner material. Come Friday, Oscar was true to his word and the truck was done. We looked over the work and both agreed that the work was up to my expectations. The truck looked better than new as the truck was VERY clean! The work was done well and no corners were cut! When I got home later that evening, I realized that in the bright sunlight, I overlooked a small section where it appeared that there may have been a spot that was missed in the 'buffing process'. I waited until Monday to contact Oscar about the spot in question. As soon as I got in touch with him, he was very helpful and asked me to bring the truck in that same day. I brought the truck in that afternoon and no more than 15 mintes did it take for them to correct the issue. As others have pointed out, this place has EXCELLENT customer service and is a real bargain! I love promoting local shops and especially shops that provice a great service. Now I understand why they have been around for quite a while now in Napa and continue to stay in business. I will be brining any future work to Valley Auto Body and will be recommending my friends as well. (Photos of the white Excursion is the work they did for me.)

However. when I picked the car up, I was informed that the muffler was about to fall off and it needed to be replaced soon. I found that puzzling since it was fine when I dropped the car off. As I left the shop to drive home, it indeed sounded like the muffler was about to fall off, so I crawled underneath to see what was wrong. I discovered that the sensor was close to the exhaust pipe and that the mechanic had banged against it which broke the seal between the muffler and the exhaust pipe! When I brought this to the attention of the owner, he denied any responsibility claiming that the car had arrived sounding that way. It had not. Bottom line... use them at your own risk.

This one by far is the most reasonably priced one and I was given a through explanation on the diagnosis of the car and had the patience to tell me in terms I could understand. They took it in super last minute and were able to get it up and running just before I had to go to work. Highly recommend it, and they speak Spanish as well!

I had Joe's replace two front seat covers on my Mercedes. He told me to go online and buy them and…read morehe would install..."make sure to get OEM", he said. So I did exactly that, and when I went to install he cast doubt whether they were OEM, "never had heard of " the outlet where I got them. Later changed his story to "worked with them many times". He installed, complaining about having to sew the seat heaters back in because I'd bought the wrong ones without seat heater in them (again, your'e the pro, let me know what to buy). Charged me way extra for doing that. Picked up the car, visibly just an ok job. But Air Bag Sensor lights lit up, indicating they were doubtfully working, AND the seat heaters didn't work at all. Took it back, he stated "I put it back together just the way it was" but he could not reset the air bags (not the appropriate equipment - he should know that and advise). He was done. I had to spend another $200 to have the air bag sensors reset at a reputable shop. My main objection is that his stories changed, he lied about what worked and wasn't willing to meet negotiate a settlement. All I can say is I don't trust this business!
