I've been coming here for a long time and cannot stress how awesome Gator and his team are! They are always taking time to explain (and sometimes re-explain) any issues so that I understand. They're honest, professional and get me back my car as soon as possible. They have even gotten me in last minute before a trip and it saved our family from freezing while headed up to the snow. I 100% recommend them to all our family and friends. read more

Very professional. Did a great job helping me through a very difficult situation. My insurance company gave me a lot of grief about covering my truck. Gator and Lee walked me through and definitely made my situation a lot less stressful. Thank you so much. read more

Trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable, fast, friendly. Great group of people. I highly recommend them.

I have been using Automotive Specialties for 24 years. The current owner, Lee, was a mechanic there for years and a neighbor when I moved to Murrieta. In those 24 years I have had 3 transitions replaced, tune ups, engine mounts, suspension repairs, regular brake jobs and all mantaince done strictly here unless of a failure out of town, and I call Lee to verify pricing so I know they are fair. To date Lee has repaired all 15 of my and my childrens cars, vans and trucks over the 24 years I have known him and his family. Great service, fair pricing and friendly employees. read more

Lee and Gator are awesome. I've been bringing my cars to them for years (Lexus, Toyota, Chevy, Audi). They do honest quality work, I won't take my cars anywhere else. read more

This company is awesome! Honest, professional and always go above and beyond my expectations.

I have been coming to Automotive Specialties for years. I started with a 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer, then a trailered boat and now a Sprinter van. I guess you could say that this is a jack of all trades (vehicles), type of shop. I have come to know Lee and Gator. They are very nice gentlemen and very courteous. Lee is very up front and will advise you if there is work that has to be done now and also advise you when the work could wait. The last oil change visit, my brakes were squeaking and I asked Lee to check them. Lee advised me that the brakes were fine and they could be changed at a later date. Lee is very up front with pricing and is very reasonable. Lee's pricing is usually lower or equal to other shops in the area. I have definitely recommended Automotive Specialties to all my family and friends. About that trailered boat... My trailer broke down on me, while I was on my way home from the lake. I had it towed to Automotive Specialties and Lee took care of me. It appears that the trailer hub needed some greasing, and it hadn't been done in a while. Lee fixed up my trailer and it was as good as new. The maintenance did not cost me an arm and a leg. You know that B.O.A.T stands for, Bring Out Another Thousand. Well, not in this case. Thanks Lee!!! I trust my vehicles to Lee, Gator and the employees of Automotive Specialties!!! read more

I took my RV here since multiple people told me they were great. I had them do an oil change and fuel filter change on my diesel pusher Motorhome. No issues with the work and when dropping it off, people were friendly. The engine takes 24 quarts of oil and there are two fuel filters so it is not cheap to have this service done and I understand that. When I checked out, I did not have my readers on and paid the bill using a credit card. As lots of places are doing, there did a 3% charge for this service. This used to be part of doing business, but now it is too common for companies to pass that cost on to its customers. They do have signs telling you this and they did tell me again when checking out so they did that part properly, I just don't like the change in policy. I did not have my readers on when I paid the bill . I put them on when she handed me the receipt and the bill was higher than I had expected. My reaction to this was the say "pricey". Immediately the women behind the counter informed me that there were plenty of other places that did RV service. This is a trigger for me. I generally do not like doing business with companies that do not care if you come to them or are a return customer. I do not know if this is the owners opinion also or just the sad woman behind the front desks opinion. I have not decided whether I will go back for additional service, but most likely not. read more

I bought an older motor home that needed a lot of work. I had the work on the coach done by Jason Junge who did a wonderful job and who I highly recommend. I also needed an oil change, transmission service, and other mechanical repairs and service done and I needed a tow system to flat tow my Chevy Colorado behind the motor home. I asked Jason if he could recommend anyone. He told me that he always takes his RVs to Automotive Specialties so that is where I took mine and I couldn't be happier with the recommendation. Bobby and Lee are both very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They did an inspection and then gave me a very fair and reasonable quote. They took care of everything that was needed for my cross country trip and even fixed a few things that I didn't know about. They are fast and efficient and very reasonably priced. This is my first cross country trip in an RV and to be honest I was a little nervous about the trip and what might possibly go wrong with an older RV. They took the time to educate me on everything I needed to know about the RV and flat towing a vehicle behind it. I highly recommend this business for any of your vehicle maintenance and repair work. Whether it's an RV, work truck, or family car, this is the place! read more

This is the new auto repair business I'll be frequenting due to my recent visit there which was very positive. Bobby and the other employees there were honest, kind, and provided professional service and support. I do not feel the fear of being overcharged here, and when they can, they always go the extra mile from what I've seen and heard. I highly recommend Automotive Specialities when you need an honest, fair mechanic shop. read more

I have known the employees at this shop For many years. I trust them with all of my repairs and maintenance. They are trustworthy and fair. A family oriented environment and honesty that is hard to find at the big chain establishments. On occasion you may be greeted by "Bigsby" the dog. He is the sweetest gentle giant that loves a hello from a new friend. read more

My husband and I brought in our motorhome because we were having electrical issues. The guys Lee, bobby and tanner were amazing! Our rig blew a fuse within 2 miles of the shop.. we drove back and they took care of us. They went above and beyond to get our family back on the road. They stayed late and found the electrical short. Thank you so much for fixing the issue and getting our family back on the road! read more

Excellent Automotive repair shop. I consider myself a backyard/DYI mechanic and do most of my work myself, but when a specialty tool is required to do the job right I am extremely picky with where I would take my car for service. I had an excellent experience with Automotive Specialties, I spoke with Gator; but the entire staff was friendly and very helpful. read more

If you want to be greeted by a huge dog as soon as you walk in then by all means go here. I don't understand why some people are so careless that they don't understand that some of us are highly allergic not to mention some people and children are scared of dogs. Very unprofessional but then again I'm sure they don't care. read more

I am not a mechanic, nor have I ever claimed to be. So, when my vehicle rolls past the normal warranty period, I no longer take it to the dealer. I have been bringing my vehicles to Automotive Specialties for years. I always speak to Lee, who takes care of my vehicles. I always believe I am getting a fair price, for quality work. I have recommended Lee/ Automotive Specialties to my family and friends. I have an old Mitsubishi Lancer as an extra vehicle. I have had the vehicle since November 2001. Earlier this month, my son was driving it, and it took a dump!! Luckily he was in front of his friend's house when it stopped working. I had the vehicle towed to Automotive Specialties and I called Lee. Lee said he could not get to it until the following day, not a problem. But... in Lee fashion, I received a call later that day and Lee had already diagnosed the problem and had an estimate. A fair estimate. Lee had the vehicle repaired the next day. Lee doesn't up sell or pressure you into fixing items that could wait. Lee will let you know what needs to be fixed immediately and what will need attention soon. So... if you are in need of a great shop, go see Lee. He is the man for the Temecula/ Murrieta Valley. South West Riverside County. Automotive Specialties!!! read more

An "honest" mechanic. I took my car to another mechanic I had been going to for awhile for a radiator problem, my previous mechanic quoted me 800$. This place got it it done for 300$ less, a faster turnaround time, and all with a friendly smile. I'm not a big car guy so it makes me wonder how many times I got screwed at the other place I had been going too. Overall 5/5 experience and shop... read more

We have been to Lee several times with our commercial vehicle. Every single time he is on point, fair, honest, and fast. He keeps our small business running with minimal down time. We try to stay on top of maintaining our vehicle as best we can and book with him in advance because his bays are always full. When we have an emergency though, he accommodates our needs and we are forever grateful! Thanks Lee! See ya soon. read more

Lee and his team were amazing. I was having trouble with my AC. The team assessed the problem, and took care of it quickly. I especially appreciate the honesty of the mechanics--they were fair, and didn't try to manipulate me to get other things done. I have been taking my cars here since 2001 and never been disappointed. They don't try to upsell me anything and make sure I know what the necessary repairs are and the cost. Recently I bought a used car from a friend moving out of area and we had his mechanic go over it. We did some repairs and I took the car, within a week it was at Automotive Specialties to have brakes done front and rear. Had I started at AS I would not have been surprised. read more

I help run a carpet cleaning business and own a mobile PC repair business so I know all about good customer service and knowledge of your trade. I will tell everyone hands down Jagade does phenomenal work. He does lots of work on our companies carpet cleaning van and today he just did a tune-up and Synthetic oil change in my 99 Camry V6. If you want someone honest and that you can trust to work on your car with good pricing and turnaround time, go to this place and ask for Jagade or Lee. I have been going to Lee for over 15 years now. I can't say enough good things about this place. I have enough automotive knowledge to know two things: I should not be doing most repairs myself and when someone is trying to scam me. This place has a several characteristics that are hard to find in auto repair; honesty, dependability, friendliness, and fairness in costs. I constantly recommend Automotive Specialties to others. read more

I brought my newly purchased used 2001 Toyota Sequoia here for service. I had a basic idea of what I wanted but discussed it in depth with the service tech, John. My wife and I will be driving the Sequoia from California to Guatemala and we wanted it to be as safe and trouble free as possible. They guy's did a great job and it runs great and drives/handles like a dream. The let me know of items that needed attention and recommended other areas that didn't really need the service I thought they did, saving me time and money. Kudo's for a local shop that was dramatically less expensive than the Toyota dealer and offered great customer service. read more
