A great resource for Porsche parts . They always have what I need and at a very competitive price. I like using the parts schematic for OEM parts as it is always helpful and easy to identify needed parts and companion parts . My go to even just for breakdown when doing a job. read more

Ordered a rebuilt head for our 944 back in January. Turned out they did not have one readily available. After a few issues with the machine shop and parts availability issues. They were able to get the correct head rebuilt and shipped out. It looks great and can't wait to get it installed on the car. I felt like we were able to come to an acceptable agreement on the price increase and I think they may have even broken even on the final price. I will definitely buy from them again and appreciate their help in getting the part out to me even though it took awhile. read more

Searched for a 944 sun shade, and their site guided me to a 911 sun shade, so i figured it must be compatible. Ordered first week of September, and it took two months for the shade to arrive. It didn't fit properly. Employees blame me for the error, and refuse to accept a return. Now I've learned I could order the actual correct sun shade directly from Covercraft (AutoAtlanta gets it from them anyway) for $50 cheaper. Avoid these guys if you can, as they have shown they don't care about customer service. read more

Great selection of parts and pricing. Ordered aluminum brake lines for my Porsche 914 and the part arrived within a few days. Excellent service. read more

Ordered a regulator for my Porsche. It did not fit. George claimed that it did, so I sent photos proving that it did not fit. They gave me an RA and I returned it. They sent another one that looked exactly like the one I returned and it (not surprisingly) didn't fit, either. For several months, I have called and emailed for an RA but they haven't had the courtesy to respond at all. I've bought several items from them over the last 15 years and it's sad that they feel the need to stiff me for $75. Things must be tough in Atlanta. read more

There are several companies that specialize in Porsche parts and this is one of them. All of my orders are packed carefully and shipped out expeditiously. Even when I had a return, there were no issues. I will use AA as my first choice when looking for 914 parts. read more

Ordered from AA a few times - excellent customer service and well stocked parts for those of us willing to turn a wrench for our cars. The website is particularly good since the parts diagrams are easily accessible and ordering right from the diagram makes the level of certainty that much better and more certain. There is also a chat function, and they promptly answer emails with questions. Often they'll have parts which other houses don't - which makes them a nice go to place for Porsche parts read more

Ordered hard to find part for my 928. Arrived quickly and exactly as expected. Highly recommend to any Porsche perfectionist! read more

Great selection of parts available for all years and models of Porches. Also very good customer service. If the part is wrong or not needed they will readily set up a return. I'll be doing business again many times. read more

I found AA while searching for parts sources to restore the 914 I bought new in 1970. I find the factory diagrams on the site especially helpful. Rather than staring at a page of o rings and seals without any idea of which I needed I could follow the diagrams to learn the exact parts needed to fix a small leak at the speedo drive. I try always to use original Porsche or OEM parts and AA had a great selection of theses. Auto Atlanta continues to be a "go to" source for me read more

Been buying from George since before the "net". Will often have a part when its unavailable elsewhere. Not always the cheapest, & have suffered an shipping or billing snafu on MORE than one occasion, but AA is serving a shrinking niche market. You have to expect some hiccups when dealing with 50 year old autos. Glad they are around read more

Ordered 2 bolts ($19.99 ea) and 2 screws($1.00 ea) which were both in stock. Shipping options never came up online when placing the order but was charged $12 shipping. Called the next day to inquire and was told they received the order, all in stock, should get them in 6 days? Got them in 7 days USPS in a envelope. Why so long? and why 12 bucks? Otherwise the correct parts were sent. read more

I tried to purchase a NOS/OEM Cat Converter which he is selling on ebay for roughly $59. I purchased the cat convert via eBay, and paying with Paypal. (they were no help). Somehow AutoAtlanta shipped the part to my old address (Boston MA) but I now live in Sacramento CA. I immediately saw the problem and contacted Auto Atlanta. Unfortunately, they had already boxed and shipped the package. FedEx still had the Cat Conv in transit. I asked Auto Atlanta to re-route the package (at my expense). They told me, to "go by my old address and grab it." Laughing, I told them, apparently you didn't notice my old address is over 3,000 miles away. At this point I asked AutoAtlanta to re-route the package (again). I warned AA that as the receiver of the package I can not do anything. FedEx said to "ask the sender to contact us". Yet again I asked AA, at which point they said they would "take care of it" I then waited a week to reach back out to them, (FedEx at this point had delivered the package) I then reached out to AA again, ignored... I reached out to AA yet again, at which point they told me they had shipped it to the address which was in my eBay profile. (not sure how, as I often order from eBay and they all seem to make there way to Sacramento just fine) I told AutoAtlanta that I have purchased from them many times over many years and that they were throwing away my business over $60! Still no response of yet. read more

One of my 'go to' suppliers for Porsche parts. Really got hooked on them with the exploded diagrams that let you look at every part on the car, see the part number and pricing and order quickly. I have had an issue where Porsche has placed the wrong part number in, or mislabeled, a bag and Auto Atlanta has reshipped those immediately. Definitely a Porsche owners best friend! read more

AutoAtlanta was recommended by a friend and Porsche Technition. I could not believe how affordable OEM Porsche Parts were. The website is user friendly, even for someone like me with no mechanical background. The ordering process is straight forward, click the year and model, find the part(s) you're looking for using diagrams and add to cart. Shipping charges are reasonable and my order shipped within a 7 days which was great considering I ordered about 70 pieces ranging from brake parts to screws and plastic trim pieces. One of the brake pad boxes (inside another box) came open during shipping and I wasn't comfortable using them so I called AA, they accepted return with no problem and refunded approximate amount. I admit being hesitant to order AA because if the negative reviews I read on review platforms and forums but those are years old and I trust my tech friend would not tell me wrong and it worked out great! It's about time there is a reputable, OEM Porsche Parts supplier to compete with dealership so they can realize they are not the monopoly anymore and we have other options. That exciting for anyone who owns a Porsche or four like I do and know the cost of maintenance as parts. :) read more

I recently ordered a part (dome lens) for my 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cab and am very happy with prompt service and order turnaround received from Automobile Atlanta. Always professional. I am a repeat customer and I've had nothing but postive experiences with thier prodyucts and customer service.

I recently ordered a gas cap for a Porsche Cayenne. I knew that the replacement was from Gates, but the advertised picture looked to be identical. However, the part arrived and did not have the tether like the Porsche part has; the original tether had broken and that was the reason I ordered a new one. AutoAtlanta verified that the Gates part does not have the tether pictured, but did offer to refund my money. They also issued a call tag to cover the return shipping. That's good customer service! read more

George went above and beyond the call in acquiring and binding carpet trim pieces for my 944 that the supplier no longer manufactures.

I'm a relatively new customer of Auto Atlanta, and I am definitely appreciative of what they do. It can be tough to find parts for a classic Porsche, but AA has all kind of reproduction parts as well as refurbished. So far they have been worth every penny! read more

Ordered and received 9 clutch pressure plate bolts. One had a 12 point head (correct for the 944 Turbo being worked on) but 8 bolts had a torks head. I will not mix bolts especially in deep dark places where I will likely have to re-visit, so the 8 new bolts are a waste. read more

George and his team performed a PPI for my first 911 in 2011 and, living out of state, eliminated all surprises when the car was delivered to me. I recently asked them to do a PPI on a 930 turbo. The logistics to coordinate were complicated and fragile due to my schedule to fly in from IL to GA, the seller to make the car available AND have a reliable and knowledgeable shop ready to bring it all together. It could've easily fallen apart if any link in the chain was weak. George, Albert, Jeff and Dutch were fantastic. They were flexible in making arrangements, did exactly what they promised they would do and cheerfully kept me informed at every step along the way. They blew away my expectations and have made me a life long customer. THANKS AutoAtlanta! read more

Automobile Atlanta is the #1 shop for my Porsche 914 repairs and parts!! George Hussey aka Dr 914 is the most knowledgeable person by far (dare I say) in the world when it comes to the 914. He was so very helpful and insightful in my search to find the right 914 for me. I know for certain I may have pushed his patience level with all my countless choices and observations. Yet he never dodged my calls or emails and he answered every question I had along with insight on what little things to look for when I bought mine. Since my purchase (which was not on his lot) they have finely tuned my 914 to tip top condition. AA is the best!! read more

I had dealings with them 20+ years ago when I bought my first 914 and thought i'd give them a try again. I have not done business with them over that time due to customer service problems. My latest experience was no better. After the first order I had problem with a $3 clamp they sent, I sent them a note saying in the next order please throw in this clamp. I did order more parts, but along with the clamp I got a side cover (which i didn't order) that i was charged $50 for. I called them and got an ok to return it. Today I got a credit not for $50 but instead for $20. Another phone call and i was told "don't worry the WHOLE credit didn't process yet". I asked why for one part there were two separate credits required. I was told to wait. ARGGHHHH! read more

They sent me a card asking for this review, so here it is. I have ordered quite a number of items from them over the last 6 months. Their shipping costs are so variable, and inconsistent, but as I am buying parts for a much older vehicle (928), I am only able to find certain things from them, so go with it. I have had issues with them telling me my card is not working, or that items they say they had, are now on back order, but overall not too bad. I did try to cancel one order as I had forgotten something, and one item had been delayed. I sent an email to tell them this, but they didn't cancel it and I ended up with duplicate items, at, yes - duplicate cost! If they sort out their own payment system, and read their customers emails more closely, then they would be a great outfit, but ..meh, I've experienced better.... read more

I have only started buying parts online from AA in the past 6 months or so. Good experience with parts purchase.s What set them apart was a time I had issue installing a part on my 1973 Porsche. I called and the device department guided me thru it. I really have to recommend them. read more

Dishonest offers I had bad experience with this company. I searched a part number in internet and found the website of AutoAtlanta. They offered my the part include shipping in USA for 73$. I agreed and one day later I should agree to 100$ because of shipping to Europe. I agreed again. The part came, but they charged my credit card for 162$!!! So what? Their simple answer was: this were the "total costs". If you need parts don't order there!!! Best regards Dieter, Germany read more

I ordered an Oil Pressure sending unit for my 914. They sent the wrong one. When I called, they said that the wrong ones were in their bin so it was their fault and that I should send the wrong one back and they would send me the correct one. They sent me the correct one but charged my credit card a second time. I called a couple of weeks later to have the second charge removed. They again said that it was their fault and that they would remove the second charge, but they never did. I got charged twice for 1 part with them admitting to 2 mistakes in the transaction. I've been a customer of their's for years (had my 914 for 30 years) but will never buy another part from them. read more

I ordered by part number and they sent me the wrong part. I called and was told to return it to get a refund. The part would not work in the car I was working on so had to send it back. I paid the postage for the return. It took almost a month to get credit on my card and they deducted 20% restocking fee and ignored the freight I paid. I called and they told me to stick it. The total sale originanally was $149.00. After it was over it cost me $41.62 and I received nothing. read more

Unfortunately a very negative buying experience for what should have been a simple and inexpensive transaction. Before purchasing 914 trunk hinge pivot kits (and hinges) I took the time to call the clerk and confirm that the hinges, which were also pictured in the ad, were part of the kit. I needed a hinge as well as the pivot kits. I purchased the item with the assurances of the clerk on the phone that the hinges were part of it. Alas the parts arrived without the promised hinges. When I called back an older gentlemen tried to convince me I didnt really need an actual hinge (mine is damaged) but if I did he would "ship me one for free" as they "have hundreds of them". Needless to say I did in fact need a hinge. But when I called back of course the free hinge offer was no longer on the table. So I purchased one. When it arrived it turns out they only sell used ones (which they didnt disclose) and...they sent the hinge for the wrong side. They promised to next day air the correct hinge. 5 days later still nothing. And they've billed me for both hinges. I'm assuming I pay for the return shipping, Auto Atlanta? Old Porsche parts are tough to find but there are other vendors. This was a complete clown show that discourages even the most patient buyer and enthusiast from doing business with them. Im at the beginning of a restore on a car that I have owned for 22 years and they will lose all of my business over "new" trunk hinges and truly disappointing customer interaction. read more
