Prices seem fair and the structure itself is space age and pleasant to the eyes - convenient to highway 880 but receipt paper printer was out and for perhaps hard to pinpoint I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Prices seem fair last time I went a week ago. I filled up my truck with 87 - I think they say it helps reduce emissions?!? I've always heard of conflicting info on what grade was best for what... The structure is unique and swoopy. I think many of the businesses on Auto Mall were built like that - can't hurt a gasoline pumping experience to have a roof like that over your head... Receipt paper printer was out - but paper towels were in good supply. Not sure why but my usual pumping place is Chevron - was running dangerously low tho and wasn't feeling like creating a real life reenactment of a Seinfeld episode. read more

This is a really nice Shell fill er up station. Plenty of pumps and very convenient with easy access. Plenty of parking spaces to go inside and grab goodies and drinks. Great bathroom break place for bladder relief. Being in town with no competitors on either corner they are not the cheapest. But they do offer a car wash and a Mexican fast food place is connected. Love this place it's big and convenient. I travel for work and been here a couple of times , as we always stay in the hotel down the street. There's a walk in beer cooler lol. There's so much to this place like a small pizza and rice bowl restaurant inside. The pizza is really great. There's tons of coffee machines as well as most things you need. Food , beer , drinks , def etc. The list goes on and on. The cashiers are really nice too. All in all good gas station/restaurant/store. read more

This is the worst gas station Carwash I've ever used. No damage to car, but other than getting wet, my car didn't not get cleaned, at all. Also, the drier still had 60 seconds on the clock and shut off when another car came in behind me. Waste of $13.00 and had to go find another car wash. Don't waste your money. There is a reason why there is never a line of cars waiting to get washed here. This wash uses soft brushes and I had better cleaning from brushless washes at other gas stations.... read more

What a fun, bright, spacious, cute gas station!! Usually I'm a fan of Chevron but somehow I always end up at Shell when my tank is near empty and there doesn't seem to be another gas station in sight! I really like how modern and clean a lot of the Shell gas stations are looking nowadays, esp with their mini tv screens at each pump! I ABSOLUTELY think it's horrible that these tvs are running all the time, it's such a waste of electricity, and think about all the people who can't even afford to have tvs at home! Here you have a GAS STATION with maybe 14+ monitors on 24/7?? However... I do find myself very bored when waiting for the gas to pump and I must say that this little device proved to be very entertaining. *sigh* I was in and out of here super fast, their car wash looks very nice from the outside, and it's roomy so hopefully you won't ever have to wait to drive around another car to get to a certain pump. Like a 4.8... maybe even a 5, for me. I stopped here after a nearby event when I realized my bladder was going to explode before I'd make it home. This seemed like a great place to take care of that sort of thing because it didn't look like a regular gas station but more like a road trip relief station. Pretty large shop inside, lots of parking spaces, I think there were even space around back to park and sleep, if you're on a long haul trip. The bathrooms were clean and open to the public and they a ton of pumps. They had A LOT of different coffee options, including ones that were made with almond milk and coconut milk and they even had TWO different types of nitro cold brew coffee of tap. Great pit stop, saved me from peeing in my pants, and wasn't at all shady the way you see most truckstop gas stations. - oh and there's a Target and Nordstrom Rack across the street so just an all around good excuse to stop. read more

Apparently you cannot buy car wash on some of the pumps along with gas. So I had to buy a seperate car wash at from the cashier and the cashier refused to apply any discount with $45 I spent on the overpriced gas. Adding insult to injury, the car wash barely lasted 30seconds and the dryer cuts off before the timer. read more

Cheap Shell gas in Fremont. :) Yesss. You'll notice if you go down a couple blocks, there's another Shell near a Jack in the Box that is about 1 or 2 cents cheaper, but stray away from there. It pumps so SLOW and sometimes the gas pumps are out of order. I wanted a receipt once, but it didn't come out of the pump station.. I wasn't sure where to get it since there wasn't an attendant or cashier kiosk. Was I supposed to go in the Jack in the Box? :| How inconvenient. I guess that's the price you pay for saving a couple cents. In conclusion, go to the Shell next to the Wendy's and save money AND time. :) read more

Very spacious gas station located off the 880 but since I'm a Costco Gas guy, I came here just for the car wash. It's $6 for the cheapest wash but the premium high end wash is $8? For $2, hell I was tempted to get the premium one but I didn't need the wax treatment or the foam wash before the soap. With Wendy's next door and La Salsa attached to their mini mart, this gas station is a perfect pit stop for anyone who is looking to refill gasoline and food. read more

A convenient spot to fill up when at Pacific Commons. There's sixteen pumps, though sometimes they're all engaged, so you might experience a short wait. Gas prices are reasonable for a Shell station, and it's always kept neat and clean, with the food mart well stocked. The only negative is the timeworn car wash in need of an upgrade. I've been here a few times, never interacted with the staff inside. Gas prices are consistently high (due to the location next to the freeway and the lack of other gas stations in the immediate area), however as others said it's spacious, well lit, and who doesn't like to watch TV while filling up. However, recently I decided to use the car wash. Machine took my first dollar, then accepted but didn't credit my second dollar bill. Further attempts to add cash failed, so I hit the 'call attendant' button. After 15 seconds a "Hello?" resounded over the loud speaker. I explained my situation, but got no response. After waiting 3 minutes for an attendant to arrive, I hit the button again, and again got a verbal response, but nothing after the initial hello. Now the logical person in me says if you have gotten two calls for help from your car wash machine, maybe you want to, you know, go outside and see what's up! No dice. After waiting 5 more minutes, I backed up out of the car wash and went inside. I explained to the lady that I was the person calling her several times, she said the machine must be out of order. I requested a refund, which brought her manager over. He apologized and asked me to tell him what happened. After the explanation, he said "Do you still want the car wash, I'll just give it to you". 20 years ago when I was doing customer service, that would mean "Sir, I recognize you are upset and I want to keep your future business, so let me give you something small to compensate you for your difficulties with my business". No, superman says you wanted the 7 dollar car wash, you put in 2 dollars, give me 5 dollars. Disgusting. Please take Nancy off the register!!! She's horrible!!!! I paid for my with a credit card and told her which pump number I wanted, well she put it on another pump and it was already someone pumping gas! So she added my gas ontop of his and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't pump it. I go inside to let her know that I am unable to pump she never told me the issue, she acted as if I was ok to pump. I still was unable to pump gas, so I go in a second time. She then asked did I want pump 8 or 7... Are you really asking me this!!! I then tell her never mind just put the money on my card! She says that I put $15.00 back on your card!! Where is the other 5.00, the guy came in the store and hear me and Nancy talking about the situation, he says did you give me her gas, I was wondering what was going on, and takes out $20.00 to pay for my gas.. What a terrible car wash, I waited in a long time to get my car washed, and then when I get to the machine, even though there is a credit card slot there is a sign on the machine saying they do not except credit cards. I'm not one to really review gas stations.I mean,how much can you really say about gasoline.I dont get gas here anyways since it is usually 15 cents cheaper per gallon at Beacon down the street. So,this review is based soley on the mini mart.I give it two stars for being open convinient hours,so I can grab some stuff even at 5 and 6 in the morning on my way to the job site.And the second star is for having cheap Monster Energy Drinks as of late.You cant really beat 2 for $1.50. The low ratings were due to the janky donut that I had this morning.They advertise Krispy Kreme donuts in a nice glass display case for $1 each,which is ridiculous in its own right at $12 a dozen.Anyways,cost aside,they are also advertised as being fresh daily,which I have to argue with after the one I had today.It was day old or more.Possibly couple days old.It had that old greasy look to it and I was tempted to put it back in the case after I had grabbed it,but thought that that would have been gross.So yeah,avoid the donut shizzle. read more

Always clean and the isles in-between pumps are wide enough for the cars to pass each other up. I hate those gas stations that are really really tight and you just can't get through without waiting for other drivers to finish up pumping so that you can move up next. It is on my way to work and even though I try to fill up at the Costco gas station, recently it has been crazy packed out there and the .5 cents less do not make up for the wasted time so I just come out to this Shell, fill up and go on my merry way. :) read more

I used to get 91 octane here all the time but last Saturday when I put 91 octane from here my car computer is reading only 200 miles to empty on a full tank (19 gallons ) which used to be at least a 275 miles to empty and i have never filled my 2017 camaro with anything other than 91 octane I'm telling ya all this gas station is mixing the octane or their fuel tanks are contaminated or something stay away from this place read more

This shell is by far the cleanest, biggest, and cheapest Shell gas station that I found in Fremont, however, the last two times I went, their system is down so I had to pay inside for gas which is a pain in the butt. Their system always goes down and people always complain about it. If they can fix it, I will give them another star for sure. read more

This is like the only Gas Station in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center besides Costco Gasoline, so you're stuck either here or a Costco, unless you go future down and look for another gas station. Prices here are decent and you may have to wait at certain times when they're busy but otherwise it's a great place to stop by for gas. I Was planning on filling up gas and then getting a quick car wash but pump display said I needed to see cashier. Same credit card worked fine at a different shell station earlier same morning. Apparently if you can't use the credit card at the pump you have to tell the cashier the exact amount you want to spend otherwise they can't charge you. Yet another stupid policy if all I want to do is fill up my tank. Instead of dealing with this stupid crap, I just skipped the car wash and filled up for much less at Costco across the street. read more

This is the only Shell I go to in Fremont and I've been a loyal costumer for quite some time now. The gas station itself is very nice and the price here compare to other Shells is cheaper, 2 stars. However their costumer service in the mini mart sucks. I was there a week ago and one of the pump malfunctioned on me. The gas stopped flowing but the numbers kept going (good thing it only went over by half a gallon). So out of kindness I informed them while retrieving my ski voucher. Expecting something like ohh thanks or really? which pump? or I'll take a look. But no, all I got was an okay. So I was like that's it?? (In my head: Your pump is not operating properly and ripping people off) So he called the manager/boss to look at the pump w/ me and he just said ok thanks for letting us know. It would be nice if he'd at least offer my money back (...not that I care much about two bucks, but still). Anyhow, so I went again yesterday to get my tank filled. The pump stopped at 9.8 something gallon this time. I was like great...I need 10 to retrieve the voucher. I still went in anyways to give it a try, though I know he probably won't allow it. So I went inside and was about to show him my receipt...before the receipt could reach to him...he goes NO!NO!NO! I go umm, I want to get...(NO!NO!NO!) In my head I was thinking....uhhh whatt?. What's up with the No's before even seeing my receipt. So he finally takes a look at my receipt and goes, "No 10 gallon, NONONO". I don't really mind not getting the voucher, but RUDENESS, I mind. Point: They can charge you more on malfunctioning of the pump, but they can't give you a voucher if you're 0.2gallons away. On top of that horrible costumer service! read more

This rating is for the car wash. First off, the machine to punch the code in is not easy to use without getting out of the car. Getting the car in correct spot in the washer was not easy. Exiting the car wash was difficult, also. Upon exiting I heard a pop and I thought it was just my tire rolling over something. Unfortunately, I had left the station before checking the car and went to a restaurant across the street. When I got out I saw the popping noise was caused by my car being damaged by the washer. read more

Came here to pump my car tires and the cashier didn't have any quarters for my one dollar bill. Air machine only accepts quarters. Please. You should always have quarters on hand.
