The shop was recommended by Progressive, so I went in expecting a certain level of professionalism and trust. I have no complaint about the quality of the actual scratch repair. Unfortunately, the experience took a very different turn when I picked up my vehicle. Dropping off the car there was nothing in the passenger compartment. I had cleared out all the contents and I have photos showing the condition of the car before the work was done. When I returned, I found the contents of my rear cargo area in complete disarray. I have included before-and-after photos. My cargo carrier had been secured in place with Velcro, so it wasn't something that could be easily moved. The car accessory covers were in place so nothing was visiable from the outside. Items had clearly been moved, the accessories that cover the contents of the hatch area had been removed. There was a two bottles of windshield wiper fluid and one had been left lying on its side and leaked. In fact, when I first approached my car, since the covers were removed and everything was in disarray, my thought was that my car had been broken into. What concerned me almost as much was the apparent lack of security around the vehicle while it was at the shop. There was no fence or controlled area that I could see, and when I arrived to pick up my car, I was able to simply walk up and get into the vehicle without anyone questioning who I was. Given that the interior of my cargo area was fully visible and had been disturbed, that was a very unsettling realization. The first thing I did was ask the service advisor why everything had been moved around. I was told that they take things from the passenger area and put them in the trunk. I explained that there had been nothing in my passenger area when I dropped the car off. I showed him the before picture and he agreed things were moved. When I asked him whether finding his belongings like this would bother him, his response was that what would bother him and what would bother me are two different things. This isn't really about having different standards. It's about returning someone's vehicle and belongings in the condition in which they were found, or at the very least explaining why they had been moved when the passenger area had been cleared. What makes this even more upsetting is that I was sent to this shop through the other driver's Progressive insurance claim. I did not select this shop randomly. I relied on the recommendation and expected that my vehicle would be handled professionally and that I could trust my car and any belongings would be in good hands. It is a very odd and unsettling feeling to walk up to your car and feel as though someone has gone through your things. The actual repair seems to be fine, which makes this especially disappointing. I would have liked to leave a very positive review, but finding my belongings as I did in the cargo area with no reasonable explaination was unprofessional.

I took my car to this shop after my airbag was stolen because they were one of the few places open…read moreon a Saturday that claimed they could handle the repair. They had decent reviews online, so I gave them a chance. Unfortunately, this turned into one of the worst repair experiences I've ever had. Right away, Sunny tried convincing me to include unrelated scratches and dents in the insurance claim and suggested I tell insurance they were caused by the vandalism. I refused and only authorized repairs related to the theft. The shop has signs everywhere about $175/day storage fees. When I specifically asked about them at drop-off, I was told no storage fees would apply because my car was being repaired. That turned out to be false. What they don't clearly tell you is that they may start charging storage fees while waiting for parts, even when delays are outside your control. In my case, they knew from day one that airbags were on backorder due to widespread thefts and recalls. Despite that, they later claimed they "had no idea" parts would take so long and suddenly tried billing over $4,000 in storage fees. At no point did they notify me that storage charges had started accumulating. I only found out after they tried billing my insurance company. When insurance refused to pay, the shop told me I would have to pay and "maybe" get reimbursed later. Communication was terrible throughout the process. I constantly had to chase them for updates through ignored texts and repeated phone calls. I dealt mostly with Sunny and AJ, but neither seemed to know the full status of my repairs. The final straw was when they claimed my car needed dealership recalibration after the airbag replacement because dashboard warning lights were on. They insisted this was absolutely necessary and said the dealership quote was around $1,250. They even texted me saying my car had already been dropped off at the dealership. Three days later, after I followed up again, I learned they had never actually taken the car there. Suddenly the quote had "changed" and they were supposedly calling around for better prices. None of this was communicated proactively. At that point, I picked up my car because I no longer trusted them. They tried hard to convince me not to take it, saying the vehicle was unsafe to drive because of the warning lights. They also refused to release the car unless I paid several days of storage fees. Ironically, less than five minutes after leaving the shop, every warning light on my dashboard turned off. I then contacted multiple dealerships myself and physically brought the car to two. Every dealership told me the airbag module did NOT need recalibration. So this shop was attempting to keep my car longer and push insurance to approve a repair that apparently wasn't even necessary. To make matters worse, the detailing work my insurance paid for was sloppy. There was still glass inside the vehicle after pickup, and they tried charging insurance to replace an interior door panel for "water staining" instead of simply cleaning it. I cleaned it myself. Bottom line: avoid this shop if you value transparency, communication, or honesty. My experience involved constant delays, poor communication, and threats of excessive storage fees while they tried to maximize insurance payouts.

I am going to specifically highlight my communication with the office's manager Kahn. Kahn is a very approachable and knowledgeable salesman. If you were to present an issue to him, he will go through multiple solutions that fit your needs. For my issue, my wife had scraped the side of my beloved 4Runner on a Friday night. I quickly got the incident quoted the following Saturday morning, and was able to schedule a drop off that Monday. Kahn had wisely overstated what he believed the estimated completion time to be, and I was surprised and thankful for the completion of the project on Tuesday Afternoon. For the quote, we worked together on three possible solutions of good, better, and best. And we worked together on the computer and at the car to go over what specific work would give me the best value for my money. Overall quality of the work is very high, and the car looks even better than when I had taken it in. In addition, he and his team were able to effectively correct many of the mistakes that were caused by my cost saving YouTube initiatives. With that being said guys, DO NOT TRY AND SAVE MONEY, don't watch YouTube videos and attempt to perform autobody work on your own. It goes way beyond sanding and spraying with a can, and there is a lot more attention to detail than an untrained professional would be willing to invest in terms of time and effort.
