Timely, thoughtful and communicative. David and the team helped me and my daughter. Much appreciated.

Oscar and David saved the day. A dealership misrepresented the problem with my car and tried to grossly overcharge me. I decided to get a second opinion from Auto Medic. The dealer wanted to do major unnecessary repairs and the staff at Auto Medic fixed the problem at a fraction of the cost. honestly, wish that I could give these guys more than just five stars. Every single year they help me with my old Subaru and they have continued to show me the upmost support. They never try to sell me on something that I don't actually need and they are patient and they're willing to teach me things that I need to know about my car. I got my catalytic converter fixed with them and they took great care of my car and had it back to me as soon as possible. I genuinely love these guys. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Engine light was on and had code read. Needed to replace a purge valve. Had it replaced, engine light went off. Two dats later light comes back on. Took it back in and they reset system. Two or three days pass lightbis back on. Take it back a third time and they now tell me its a full valve sensor. Yeah bullcrap as I checked the engine light code myself and it still says purge valve needs replacement. Place is a total fraud.... read more

This was the best experience I've had with an auto shop. They took my car in right away, looked at it right away, and called me right away. Other auto shops in town I've had to continue calling them to find out what is going on. But Steve kept me up to date. They had to keep the car overnight because they had to order a part and they were super apologetic about it. I just appreciated the whole experience and will only go here now. read more

I brought my car in last week on a Thursday and my car was complete by the time I got out from work. It now runs perfectly! They even offered me a great deal considering the amount of work that went in to fixing my car. They are fast, professional, and very efficient. I live in Huntington Beach, but I am no longer bringing my car anywhere else! read more

Oscar is fantastic. As a single mom, I am not good at this car thing. I have been taken advantage of in the past but a AAA tow truck driver recommended Oscar. My son's car needed fixing as we were leaving for college and had to get it fixed before we could get on the road. Turned out the part he needed was out of stock..however Oscar was able to pull strings and get the needed part and make our car like new. Not a lot of money, fixed right, and I felt really good about it all and was taken care of, not taken advantage of like before. Friendly atmosphere and I have referred them several times and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for being one of the good guys out there doing a good job! read more

An actual honest mechanic. They don't make you feel ignorant for not knowing how cars work either. I've priced out the work I've needed before with several shops around town and these guys are always a more reasonable price and I've never had an issue with any of the work they've done for me. I recommend this so to anyone needing some work done. read more

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE Months ago i brought my vehicle here for a problem i could not diagnose on my own. I suggested the problem and the mechanic agreed with me. He also said he changed the plugs. My vehicle still had problems after the service, i pulled the plugs myself only to find out he never actually changed the spark plugs, yet he charged me for them and the labor. This shop may rip you off. BE ADVISED TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK OF BEING SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! read more

Don't go here, these guys don't know anything and will gouge you. Have a small history with them that I won't dive into, after they messed my truck up and refused to take responsibility they notified me of low compression in second cylinder and offered me a "discount" on next service... ANYWAYS I took my truck to saddle back auto ii in mission and they told me it was a dead injector in my 5th cylinder. So not only did these guys mess up my truck, then misdiagnose it and try to take more of my money. Since going to saddleback auto my truck is running perfect... BUYER BEWARE read more

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE I had a check engine light on my vehicle. I had bought a code reader and determined the following code on my check engine light. P0740 OBD-II Trouble Code: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction also the vehicle was shifting very hard. I brought my vehicle here for them to inspect my transmission and explained the code to them and asked them to check the torque converter, and to correct the problem as they came very highly recommended by a co-worker. They said, and I quote "Well will hook it up to our code reader and we'll get more info out of the 'sub-codes'". Well, I checked, there are no such thing and they were talking down to me. All they did was change my transmission fluid and my vehicle was all set. I still had problems after the service and the vehicle was *still* shifting very hard even though they say that they took it out for a test ride. Also the check engine light came on again with - you guessed it - P0740 OBD-II Trouble Code. I feel like they just gave me lip service, didn't address the actual issue with my vehicle, don't have the expertise to properly diagnose the problem and did the smallest possible job to correct the problem, charged me about $147.00 and counted on the possibility that I'll be going back to them when the check engine light comes on again to charge me more money. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I've since re-evaluated the general nature of any opinion of the co-worker who recommended them too. BE ADVISED - TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK OF BEING SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! read more

They are the best! The owner is Oscar and he is sooo helpful! He has helped my cars throughout the years and does the same, if not better job than the dealerships. He tells you what it is. He doesn't add on things you don't need or try to break your wallet. Dealership quoted me $1,100. Oscar got it all done for $500. Definitely coming back their if I occur any auto problems! read more

I heard great things from Family And friends about this place do I took my car here 10 months ago. I had a check engine light do I took it in. They said it was because of my thermostat and that they'd fix it that day by 4. I got there at 4 and waited an hour just for them to tell me to go back the next day. My car has been chirping when I'm idle ever since i took it here. I don't be back. read more

I took my car here for the first time through a referral to get my water pump and thermostat replaced, next day I picked my car and noticed the engine light was on. I brought it back the following day and have them diagnosed the car and turned out it needs a new "camshaft sensor", on the same day, Frank replaced the sensor for free of charge and give me a free oil change. All in all I only paid for the water pump and thermostat. I'm very impressed with the customer service here, especially Frank. Hey man! I'll bring my car back. read more

I had my first routine service (oil change & tire rotation) on Tuesday, and I was most pleased. I called before going there and Oscar told me he was busy, but could do it the next week. In the meantime he ordered my filter so it was in-stock. I called on the next Monday; however Oscar informed me one of the crew was out, but to come in Tuesday between 8:00 & 9:00.
