Scam artists! Price gouging. Charged us $319.00 for a 100 yard tow. Price not given before the tow. Then the owner treated my wife rudely and held our SUV hostage until she paid. I have had other cars towed much longer distances for half the price or less. If I can keep a couple people from using this service, I will have done a good thing. Avoid this circus at all costs here's how they handled our situation... my son was pulled over for speeding I'm not happy about it but i also consider it an honest mistake during the interaction with the chp officer finds my sons license was expired yes I'm upset but still an honest mistake so the officer decides to impound the car. Here's where s&k towing is involved they managed to get on the rotation for tows with the chp when the supposed tow truck driver mark arrives he lifts the Lexus is250 from the front, this is an automatic transmission rear wheel drive car can not be towed in this manner unless the car is put on dolly's so the rear wheels are off the ground. This did not happen and my son was not aware. Mark the supposed tow truck operator told my son and his girlfriend that he was going to leave the car running so he knew that he was not towing the car properly. Now when we picked the car up I didn't do a thorough walk around (my mistake) when we got home I saw that the right rear of the bumper had damage and the bumper light was broken you could also see where someone had wiped the scuff mark off because the car was dirty (see pictures). I immediately called the tow yard and was directed toward Jesse who immediately went on the defensive even going so far as blaming my son because his drivers license was expired. He knew the damage was there he explained how when something like this happens they look up the citation to see what the reason for impound was. Jesse went on to explain that this happens all the time so if the driver if pulled over for driving while intoxicated he probably won't remember about a broken or damaged bumper and taillight so this tells me that this happens to others as well he was ready with his story and would not accept any responsibility for the damage. These clowns have no business dealing with other peoples property and can not act responsibly or do the job of towing and storing cars properly. Be aware do not give this circus any business steer clear. The only reason they have a 2 star rating is because you can't leave less than a 1 star rating. read more

This business have the most INCOMPETENT people, not only on the road side assisting people but also people behind the desk. My employee ran out of gas and called asking for assistance, not only they took advantage of the the situation by inflating the price but the person who came puts diesel instead of gas in my truck. When I called to complain she (person answering the phones) said, before I said anything "that's the fee, that's the agreement with OCSD, which lead me to believe that they get these kind of complaints all the time. These guys are total clowns. They towed my boat with the outdrive all the way down dragging on the pavement, totally shredded two of the 4 trailer tires and damaged the$10,000 outdrive. When confronted them because I couldn't hardly move the boat off the lot with 2 of 4 trailer tires, they claimed it was existing damage. I'm not sure what all of the other reviews here are on about. I called a number of different tow companies in the area and S & K were the only people who were not rude to me. They got my location and arrived within 20 minutes, with an extra large bed tow truck. The driver got us out of a really rough spot, stuck on the side of the interstate. He was very kind and we had some good conversation on our ride. He seemed very sympathetic of the situation we were in. He got us to the ford dealership quickly and dropped us and our Ford Transit off for service. Payment was quick and easy. Very nice guy. read more

Waited for 2 hours after they responded to my State Farm request. After we received the text they would be here, I walked to the entrance of the building we are parked at (using a cane as I'm disabled and stranded), so that's no easy. Stood there for an hour watching for a truck. Called State Farm back and the day over told them no one was here and no RV. Well, I can say either he is lying or else he went to the wrong location. Haven't left this spot for a moment since 11 am and it is 8:38. In an RV so didn't step away to even use the restroom. Have the lights all on and my wife is sitting inside with the door wide open. If I could give 0 stars I would. This company should be investigated for theft they steal out of you car! My boyfriend was hit by a drunk driver chp towed our car here the next day we went to try to get some belongings out as he was on his way home from work. The car is in my mother in laws name so they wouldn't let my bf in, which all seems very fishy, because when the car showed up to the auto shop my bfs expensive snap on drill was gone and wireless headphones. When I called to question this Brian told me that I wouldn't even fret over it, they are a dime a dozen. And that he left the red drill just sitting in the front seat. I'm sorry but when you are taken by ambulance the last thing on your mind is to grab a power drill! That's a 600 dollar drill he used for work. They pretty much torn through my car looking for valuables and I have the pictures to prove it. They claim it was to look for my registration which was on top because I has just cleaned the car! This towing company sucks. These guys were booked by State Farm cuz I got stranded somewhere cuz my car died. The prompt said 1-1 1/2 hrs. I called the number State Farm told me to use to contact them for any questions and when I called, some dude with an attitude answered. I told him I didn't want to rush, I just had a question and asked him if I could ask a question. He just said he'll have his driver call me. The driver never called me 30 minutes later so I tried calling him again. No answer. Straight to voicemail. I tried to have State Farm call them to find out ETA again. STILL no answer. So finally I had State Farm book ANOTHER towing company to pick my car up. I hope they come soon. This is the 2nd company State Farm booked for me after the first one totally already wasted 90 minutes of my time. If I could find them on Yelp I'd give them a horrible review too.
