Unfortunately I ended up having my car towed and had to retrieve it from S&K Towing. The gentleman that helped me, I believe his name was Mark or Mike, was extremely helpful, patient, and empathetic. Just wanted to say thank you for making a stressful situation suck a little less. read more

Jessie and Kevin were super helpful when my dad's car got towed when he had a medical emergency while out of town. They gave me all the details to retrieve his car and were friendly and professional. Thank you! read more

This place is...kind of great? Obviously not an ideal situation to come here, but the guy working was attentive and cordial. He was generous with his time and all around very helpful and clear. Plus I left my ID there and they mailed it back to me without any hesitation. read more

I ran out of gas on the freeway and called S & K Towing -- they were absolutely amazing! Within just a few minutes on the phone, they confirmed all the details, offered a solution, and sent help right away. In less than 10 minutes, their truck arrived with fuel, and they handled everything quickly and professionally. I was back on the road in about 15 minutes total! It was my first experience with a towing company, and it couldn't have gone better -- fast, efficient, and super friendly service. Highly recommend! read more

While not an ideal situation, while my vehicle was being "stored" here, Jessie did an excellent job keeping it safe and secure. Thank you, Jessie! read more

All I can say is, Mark and Frank. You guys rock! Thanks for all your help you seriously saved the day.

Scam artists! Price gouging. Charged us $319.00 for a 100 yard tow. Price not given before the tow. Then the owner treated my wife rudely and held our SUV hostage until she paid. I have had other cars towed much longer distances for half the price or less. If I can keep a couple people from using this service, I will have done a good thing. The bad reviews are all true. read more

Avoid this circus at all costs here's how they handled our situation... my son was pulled over for speeding I'm not happy about it but i also consider it an honest mistake during the interaction with the chp officer finds my sons license was expired yes I'm upset but still an honest mistake so the officer decides to impound the car. Here's where s&k towing is involved they managed to get on the rotation for tows with the chp when the supposed tow truck driver mark arrives he lifts the Lexus is250 from the front, this is an automatic transmission rear wheel drive car can not be towed in this manner unless the car is put on dolly's so the rear wheels are off the ground. This did not happen and my son was not aware. Mark the supposed tow truck operator told my son and his girlfriend that he was going to leave the car running so he knew that he was not towing the car properly. Now when we picked the car up I didn't do a thorough walk around (my mistake) when we got home I saw that the right rear of the bumper had damage and the bumper light was broken you could also see where someone had wiped the scuff mark off because the car was dirty (see pictures). I immediately called the tow yard and was directed toward Jesse who immediately went on the defensive even going so far as blaming my son because his drivers license was expired. He knew the damage was there he explained how when something like this happens they look up the citation to see what the reason for impound was. Jesse went on to explain that this happens all the time so if the driver if pulled over for driving while intoxicated he probably won't remember about a broken or damaged bumper and taillight so this tells me that this happens to others as well he was ready with his story and would not accept any responsibility for the damage. These clowns have no business dealing with other peoples property and can not act responsibly or do the job of towing and storing cars properly. Be aware do not give this circus any business steer clear. The only reason they have a 2 star rating is because you can't leave less than a 1 star rating. read more

This business have the most INCOMPETENT people, not only on the road side assisting people but also people behind the desk. My employee ran out of gas and called asking for assistance, not only they took advantage of the the situation by inflating the price but the person who came puts diesel instead of gas in my truck. When I called to complain she (person answering the phones) said, before I said anything "that's the fee, that's the agreement with OCSD, which lead me to believe that they get these kind of complaints all the time. I have vm of her stating I requested gas and a written receipt. I am planning on taking legal action since they aren't returning my phone calls! read more

Total clown show. Scheduled these guys several days before I needed to have my car towed to a repair shop. Confirmed the day before. They called once more to confirm the price. One call with Jesse, two calls with Kevin. And... they didn't show up. Didn't call to let me know. Wouldn't answer my multiple calls. Genius. read more

I asked for a tow from the middle of nowhere, and not only was SK towing able to find and tow me out of a sandpit, they also showed how to get back home as I was from out of town. I would like to say many thanks to Kevin and his driver. Anyone around Oceanside need assistance, go with SK Towing, they are the best! read more

No stars!! These fools are crooks- took 3 hours to get towed. Guy on phone rude AF!! So many negative reviews idk how these ppl stay in business. All the bad reviews written for this company are a joke. First of all they are open 24 hours 7 days a week. I have used this company for the last 20 years and they are quick, always show up within 40 minutes, prices are good, and I have never had my vehicle damaged. Their drivers are professsional and have been with this company forever. They are experienced drivers and this tow company has big tow trucks. They are always prepared and these drivers know what they are doing. S & K Towing has been around for a long time and they do local and long distance towing. This is the tow company you want to choose if you break down in the middle of the night - they are always available - Give them a try, you'll see what I mean. These guys are total clowns. They towed my boat with the outdrive all the way down dragging on the pavement, totally shredded two of the 4 trailer tires and damaged the$10,000 outdrive. When confronted them because I couldn't hardly move the boat off the lot with 2 of 4 trailer tires, they claimed it was existing damage. Go anywhere else, they lie and suck at moving vehicles. read more

Should it really take almost 2 hours to get a tire changed? No Should I get some updates as to the ETA? Yes. Did it happen, nope. It's very frustrating when you pay so much for roadside assistance and yet you have to wait for so long to get it. And of course, when you call and speak to dispatch and there is no f***s given, it just adds salt to the wound. Like, hey guys, my day is already going bad cuz my car is messed up, and then I call the people who are supposed to help and they don't. Customer service is definitely foreign to this business. read more

*roadside assistance through state farm* Waited over an hour and a half with several attempts to call and they didn't answer. Terrible customer service, hope you don't have more than just a simple tow or they will charge a ton for their slight inconvenience. Don't get me started if they impound your car. read more

Really really bad experience. No idea how these guys are the service providers to local roadside assistance programs. To recap, my car company assigned them as my tow truck with 30 min ETA. After multiple calls, broken promises, I finally found my own tow truck service 3 hours later when the local law enforcement gave me an ultimatum to move my ride since it was blocking street flow. 1) Unprofessional 2) Lies 3) Literally use any other tow truck provider you can think of read more

I'm not sure what all of the other reviews here are on about. I called a number of different tow companies in the area and S & K were the only people who were not rude to me. They got my location and arrived within 20 minutes, with an extra large bed tow truck. The driver got us out of a really rough spot, stuck on the side of the interstate. He was very kind and we had some good conversation on our ride. He seemed very sympathetic of the situation we were in. He got us to the ford dealership quickly and dropped us and our Ford Transit off for service. Payment was quick and easy. Very nice guy. read more

Had the same issue as the others on here, guy who answered was very rude and seemed annoyed to talk to me. Definitely don't recommend.

Needed a car jump at 4:30AM, after calling another business that was open 24 hours first (with no answer), I called S&K. They picked up right away, quoted me over the phone, got my information quick, and the serviceman got us on the road before 5AM. Thank you for your quick turnaround! read more

Truly bottom of the barrel company. My insurance company booked them. Was given 60-90 ETA. At the 2 hour mark I called SK Towing to check status and was told it would be another 90 minutes. Needless to say I cancelled but don't waste your time. If your insurance company books them, ask for another company. read more

Not sure how they even get contracted with insurance companies. 1 out of 3 times that I've needed my car to get towed they actually showed up. The other two times they didn't even answer the phone. It's upsetting because when we call it's not like we're having a good time calling them to say hello. We are calling because we genuinely need your help and to not even answer the phone is honestly very disappointing and not to mention terrible customer service. How are they still in business?? read more

This is the worst tow company service ever. Tide customer service. I was stranded and after waiting for 3 hours I finally decided to call them. When I called, they said they cancelled my service bc their driver broke down. When I asked why I wasn't notified, they said they did and called me a liar. SK towing is the most horrible towing ever I experienced a five hour wait stuck in traffic & the cold I continue to call over and over what time will they be on arrival they said 30 minutes or 15 minutes no communication whatsoever ! then they canceled after two hours some how I was told it was canceled that they apologize they would redo it again so I had to wait hours I was there stuck from 12 in the afternoon stranded up until 530 then the guy had an attitude when he finally arrived to my car & had a kid helping him ...I felt my car would be unsafe to boot on top of it all that the tow truck wasn't a flat bed ...it was a wheel lift ..all bad ! in the process of that when he dropped my car off at the dealership the next day I was told there was damage underneath my car so I am assuming from them towing it the way he Did he hit a dip or potholes so that messed up my car when all I had was just an overheated problem days later I have to call roadside assistance to tow it to BMW shop same thing 6 hrs waiting no Communication whatsoever then they come out with it was canceled they'll send another guy out bye then BMW Shop is closed because it's already gonna be 530 they close at six I called all through the day and nothing but run around SK towing is the most horrible is ever and I suggest no one to use this tow company They were very rude and don't have the proper tow truck and towing your vehicle all thumbs down to this company sadly to say read more

Waited for 2 hours after they responded to my State Farm request. After we received the text they would be here, I walked to the entrance of the building we are parked at (using a cane as I'm disabled and stranded), so that's no easy. Stood there for an hour watching for a truck. Called State Farm back and the day over told them no one was here and no RV. Well, I can say either he is lying or else he went to the wrong location. Haven't left this spot for a moment since 11 am and it is 8:38. In an RV so didn't step away to even use the restroom. Have the lights all on and my wife is sitting inside with the door wide open. No one came, I'm now starting the process all over again to find a big rig tow. Thanks for nothing. I'll be sure to always recommend anyone but your company and you deserve every crappy rating on here. You are a service company. It would do you well to actually provide the service you claim to offer. Avoid this place if you actually want help. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company should be investigated for theft they steal out of you car! My boyfriend was hit by a drunk driver chp towed our car here the next day we went to try to get some belongings out as he was on his way home from work. The car is in my mother in laws name so they wouldn't let my bf in, which all seems very fishy, because when the car showed up to the auto shop my bfs expensive snap on drill was gone and wireless headphones. When I called to question this Brian told me that I wouldn't even fret over it, they are a dime a dozen. And that he left the red drill just sitting in the front seat. I'm sorry but when you are taken by ambulance the last thing on your mind is to grab a power drill! That's a 600 dollar drill he used for work. They pretty much torn through my car looking for valuables and I have the pictures to prove it. They claim it was to look for my registration which was on top because I has just cleaned the car! This company needs to be put out of business not only am I dealing with the stress of the after math of a dui accident and my bfs injuries but also my own personal property stolen. read more

S & K Towing - Photo of the after math of them going through my stuff - Towing Near Me - San Clemente, California

This towing company sucks. These guys were booked by State Farm cuz I got stranded somewhere cuz my car died. The prompt said 1-1 1/2 hrs. I called the number State Farm told me to use to contact them for any questions and when I called, some dude with an attitude answered. I told him I didn't want to rush, I just had a question and asked him if I could ask a question. He just said he'll have his driver call me. The driver never called me 30 minutes later so I tried calling him again. No answer. Straight to voicemail. I tried to have State Farm call them to find out ETA again. STILL no answer. So finally I had State Farm book ANOTHER towing company to pick my car up. I hope they come soon. This is the 2nd company State Farm booked for me after the first one totally already wasted 90 minutes of my time. If I could find them on Yelp I'd give them a horrible review too. Even though the guy on the phone for this company had a really bad attitude, at least he answered once. read more

Worst place ever now I know why they have all one stars... I called got one price for $75 plus $10 for a mile.... Highway patrol shows up behind me asking if I needed a tow and could call someone. Tow service comes the driver is nice friendly nothing against him... but he tries to charge me $230 to go less than 2 miles to get a tire... guy who answered the phone was rude as fuck all I needed was a tow and they try to price gouge me.
