I found this place to smog my mom's car. What I didn't know is you shouldn't ever detach your battery. It wipes all the miles/drive history. This is the reason why my mom's car did not pass the smog test. The first tech informed me to drive it at least 100 miles and come back to recheck for $10. When my husband brought it back, it still failed due to insufficient miles. The second tech said it would take about 300 miles before we test again I wish I knew this beforehand. I came here for a smog check on my 2006 Acura TL. Marco helped me out and took the car back for the smog check. I had to have a star only smog check station. Within 15 minutes he came back with my keys, my car and the passed smog check certificate. In and out, easy peasy. You can't beat the price, 58 bucks out the door. After you bring your car in you can go for breakfast or lunch at Wings Café right by the Fullerton airport. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for my Smog Checks for years! They're always quick, polite and get the job done no matter who the technician is. Most recently went in on a Tuesday mid morning. Tech and service were all in ordinance with Covid 19 regulations. Walked in, explained I lost my DMV paperwork tech said no problem, took my car back and I was done and going home within 15 min. They always accept walk-ins but, on weekends or in afternoons, I would call to make sure they don't have a long wait. The longest I have had to wait is about 30 minutes and that was when I walked in and there were 3 services ahead of me. read more

Mr smog man I'm so glad you decided you needed a three day weekend to celebrate a holiday that occurs on Sunday. You know what excites me the most about this - is that you told me to come down and see you this Saturday to finish my smog and yet I arrive and you are not here instead there's a sign saying your closed for the weekend. What is worse yet, you make an elderly man drag a Winnebago out of his driveway, which he says is difficult to move, to meet you on Saturday - you told him to be here and you're not even here what is wrong with you, don't you realize when you treat people this way they will take their business elsewhere. Before I left the shop, just now, yet another customer arrived, who just saw you on Thursday, and you told him to drive in from Orange to come see you Saturday morning...Shame on you wasting this many people's time, and who knows how many others, you lured to your shop on the premise you would be there you only to find at the last minute you decided your customers did not deserve the appointments you made so you would just abandon your shop. I wonder how the Bureau of Automotive Repair will feel about this decision on your part, I will be asking them. read more

I have been coming here for over 8 years. I lived in Buena Park 4 years ago and now live in Huntington beach. I travel here from HB to have him smog my truck and other cars. Always fast and nice to work with a professional such like myself. They give me advice on how my truck is running and not just pass or no pass. That is important to me because i have a high performance engine in my 2000 ford f150. I own 5 cars and would never think of taking them anywhere else.
