They tell you that damages to the wheel will be deducted from the core charge. Why would anyone need to buy a wheel if there were nothing wrong? They get you for an extra $150 and tell you that's normal. WELL, IT'S NOT. Competitors give 100% core money back as long as it is the same OEM wheel whether it is repairable or not. Inner lip bend, repairable at my expense apparently. SCAM!!! The pictures are of a wheel they claim may not be repairable and that they are taking a chance of it not being repairable and is the reason I am only getting half of the core money. Apparently, the massive building they are in in Michigan cannot straighten wheels, they only refinish them. Also, their core deposit email does state that I may be liable for some damages to be repaired but the charge would be between $50 - $75 (pictured too). They didn't do that either! This place gives you the illusion of a good deal but gets normal price as an end result. And the product I received was not the best quality. At the end of the day, I was scammed and the most I should be liable for based on their poor business practices is $75, not double. A rim company says they are going to charge you for repairs needed and take away from the core. That is ludicrous. That's like buying a remanufactured alternator from the parts store. They charge a core deposit too and refund that core when the core is returned. The Wheel Exchange states they are going to charge you to repair what failed. That just doesn't happen with the alternator from the parts store. It is called the cost of doing business and the price should have reflected what it takes to repair the wheel for someone else to purchase. Technically, I paid for the wheel to be repaired, I should get it back. This is very poor and unethical business practices. I would urge anyone that is considering making a purchase from this company be aware that what you think you are paying really will not be what you end up paying most of the time.

Was told it was most likely the timing chain, so I authorized the following repairs Timing chain replacement, Oil change and oil pan replacement and I authorized it to be completed. I also authorized the Advisor it was ok for him to drive it home to put a few miles on it prior to giving it to my daughter who is 2.5 hours away at school. After the repairs were completed, paid in full $4421.94 over the phone on 7/14/26. I was told the vehicle was repaired and returned. A few weeks goes by light comes back on and was told possible sensor or the turbo. We replaced the sensor our self. light comes back on a week or so later. Because the problem continued, I decided to have another inspection on the vehicle. During inspection, it was discovered that several shop rags had been shoved into the engine's air supply/intake area. These rags were not there before the vehicle was brought in for service and were discovered in an area directly related to the engine's air supply that should have been part of their said inspection for a low boost in turbo code. Spoke to shop and they did refund the money for the last diag cost. $153.04 . They stated over the phone they can't ask what happened as the tech. no longer works there. I just want that know was the original work even needed that I paid over 4k for? I believe consumers should be able to trust that a professional repair facility will return a vehicle in a safe and properly serviced condition. Leaving shop rags inside an engine's air supply is unacceptable and potentially dangerous.

He looked at me and ignored me. That's when I walked out the door, and left. I remember 20 years ago, when the old man ran the place, great business.
