I called Discount tire and asked if they had time to look at a slow leak tire. I was told that they were not busy and they could get me in right away So i arrived 10 minutes after that phone call at12:15 and i waited till 1:55 till it was done. The next day i went out to my truck to leave and checked all tires and the one they were suppose to fix had less air than the day they fixed it I will never go this place again read more

Made appointment for rim leak on her car that she uses to drive around town, tires have about 20k Goodyear we bought from them 4-5 years ago , over 1/4-1/2 tread. I check and fill monthly. They tell her they have a few cracks in them I never seen. Sell her all new tires and the BS warranty that never covers anything cuz always makes an excuse why. She is 89 and totally got scammed and ripped. Used to be reputable many years ago but I have had excuses and issues in past years from them too. Never again !!! Pathetic read more

I give them a 2 because products and parts are ok but the price is astronomically ridiculous they con woman without make presence and a few of the staff are very rude and don't care if they show it even after it being pointed out! I will never recommend this place to anyone and I have been going here for years I will go to Millars or Belle tire anyday and recommend both they are respectful and prices are reasonable and service is great! I hope u fix ur judgemental staff as I shouldn't have to bring a male presence with me for services when I'm 36 years old! I wish u luck as I'm sure not all ur staff are like this read more

I WAS committed to my Bay City Other Tire Company... after going there 3 times for a screw in my tire and never getting help due to THEIR no appointment policy I was told to go to Discount Tire by a family member. Not only did I make an appointment for a repair... The man asked if I needed air before I left. WHOA! My other tire place NEVER asked me that even though I was there 3 times for a tire that was losing air! The whole time I was there the staff was moving. No lazy people at Discount tire. I had a custom valve cap misplaced while there. I had called and spoke with Paul to see if he could locate it. He took the time to go out and look for it. He actually found it. We are returning to nc in our RV. We had bought our tires in nc. Passing thru bay city we found a nail in the tire. And even though Saturday am is their busy time, we pulled in with RV, they fit us in quickly repaired the tire and did not even charge us. WOW. great experience and customer service read more

I've been here a couple times. Great Guest Service and Great Prices. The mechanics are fast. The Guest Service seems to go out their way to get the best deal they can find for you (looking for any discount, credit, or rebate they can). The only down-side I found was one that I don't think they can really help. The couple times I've gone, was right around noon. So half the mechanics were going to lunch, leaving the other half to pick up the slack while they were gone. So there was a bit of a slow down. So maybe this isn't really a complaint, but more a suggestion, that you should try to avoid the noon time if you have limited time. read more

Tire store bait and switch: This morning I called the Bay City Discount Tire. Andy quoted me a price for 2 tires, mounted, balanced, warranted, "out the door". I drive right over. Andy was not there but Slick Willie, not his name just his look, at the counter said he would take care of me. He wrote me up for a total $30 more than I was quoted. I balked at his price and said it was not what I was quoted over the phone. He asked "what, don't you want the warranty"? I said Andy told me the price quoted included the warranty. Slick willie said "that is the pro rated road hazard warranty. The free replacement warranty is not quoted over the phone because we know you are just low price shopping". My blood pressure was definitely starting to rise, "so you practice bait and switch to get me in the door? I have dealt with discount tire for 36 years, and this is the first time I have ever had this happen". He just sneered and said "that is our policy. No one else has our warranty." I told him "I have lost count of how many tires I have purchased from discount tire over the last 36 years, and that he could shove his warranty and tires up his a$$, and has just lost a loyal customer". I returned home and obtained a quote from the Saginaw store. They gave me a price, not the same as the original from the Bay City store, and said it included a warranty. I asked "now that is warranted"? He said yes it is. When I asked him to explain the warranty, he became cagey. He said it was a free replacement warranty. When I asked "so if I hit something in the road, and it is irreparable, you will give me a new tire free of charge"? He finally admitted it was a pro rated road hazard, the free replacement was only for factory defects, and the free road hazard replacement warranty was not included in the price. I will never deal with a company that does business like that. read more

Horrible service. They ordered a replacement rim for my car, and twice ordered the wrong one. I return next week for the third time and have to cross my fingers that they finally ordered the right one. Time, money, and gas wasted. read more

I always call ahead to make appt and ask price.. Everytime I go in they don't have my appt and the price is twice what they quoted on phone..
