Auto Images - Auto Detailing Near Me - Cortlandt, New York

I wanna take the time to thank Ray for being the kindest human being ever and being super supportive when he didn't even need to be and as someone who came to him at a time where a beloved friend of mine had passed, it was a hand of support I truly needed. He took such good care of my car and my needs and that kindness doesn't go unnoticed. I came here for tints to help alleviate my chronic migraine symptoms while driving after getting my exemption with my physician and the DMV. I had 2 migraines since (first week) and driving was not as difficult and I could actually open my eyes and safely focus. I recommend this business to the highest of my ability. They are great and are definitely not shady. I had my dash cam in the car and it was never messed with. I saw footage of the guy doing my tint install and laughed. I had a business before that took my camera down and erased my footage before so I know honesty here when I see it. I'm going back for sure to this business and taking my friends and family with me. I could not be happier with my service! Thank you for being an amazing team "Auto Images"! read more

Auto Images - 2015 BMW 328i - Auto Detailing Near Me - Cortlandt, New York

Overly charged for an audio I did not receive and was dishonest about the work that was being done.

I needed a remote start for my car and they squeezed me in same day. I didn't even have a ride but the owner Ray was kind enough to bring me back home after I dropped off my car. The installation took less than 2 hours. Their prices are cheaper than local dealerships also. I'd definitely come back here and recommend this spot to anyone with car needs! read more

I made an appointment last week for today at 9:30 to get my van detailed and was assured I could get a ride home. I arrived promptly to find only one person present. He was very nice but said sorry there's no ride..... He asked if I could come back in 45 minutes. I said nope... seeya. Sure they do nice work, but seriously? There are other detailers equally good in the area, and I no longer have a need for this business. read more

Ray and his team are highly recommended! No nonsense, affordable, and very professional. I tried to install an aftermarket stereo in my 2010 Civic commuter. Got stuck halfway through the process and thought I better get some help. I also needed a window tint. Ray and his team took my car right in at about 11:00 AM Saturday and called me when it was ready around 3:00. I drive this car 100 miles a day and really needed this update. I feel confident returning Ray's in the future. read more

Got a used Subaru & wanted a hitch for my bike rack installed in time for an upcoming vacation. Auto Images came highly recommended by the guys at the bike shop. Ray was wonderful - he set everything up to order the hitch before I even got the car. Unfortunately, it took an extra day to get the hitch. He was very apologetic & offered me a refund. But it came in the next day. He called me up, set up time to get it done, completed it on time, and even installed the bike rack for me. He was very professional and great to work with. Highly recommend this great shop. read more

Debra S. I love this place. The only auto body shop I will use for my baby. They do excellent work, and when you pick up your car, they even vacuumed the car!! I look forward to the complimentary cookie and flashlight. I have used them twice before and always the car comes out like it just came out of the showroom. read more

I needed tints for my Porsche Cayenne front two windows in a hurry because I was leaving for a long drive back to Houston TX the next day and the sun was burning me on the highways. I contacted Ray and he scheduled me in right away and was done in under 2 hours! The tints were flawless and it really helped me on the long drive! - I forgot about another review but last year I brought my GT3 in because it was missing the OEM radio trim. I contacted Ray and he ordered up the trim with no deposit and arrived the very next day and had it installed within minutes. Looks much cleaner and am very happy with the service he provides. Thank you!! read more

I left a deposit to have XM installed. They said they had to order the parts and would call me the next day. I never heard from them. I called later the next day and was told they couldn't get to me until the following week. Long story short I told them I wanted to cancel. I was then told, they'd call me back in an hour to install later that day. Well you guessed it, no phone call. I had to dispute the charge to get my money back! If you want a dishonest horrible experience, this is the place for you! Avoid this place! read more

I called earlier this morning and inquired if they could install a remote start on my son's vehicle and was told bring it in around 11:00am....did just that and Ray made sure to have it all done and ready. we are so pleased with how quickly it was done!! thank you for a job well done!! Keep up the good work. read more

I agree re zero stars. My friend told me not to go ro this guy for any reason but I got confused with the place she told me and ended up using Ray and totally regret it. They did bad work - the tint peeled off I found velcro stickers from a lay down mat in back of car stuck onto the OUTSIDE of my car and a piece of yellowing tape stuck above windshield. Both damaged exterior. Took way lonnger to do all he was supposed to and he just didn't care. He did not complete the work - extra item was never installed.I literally could not cope to get him to fix it. Just wanted to never see or talk to him again. Crappy work and crappy treatment by the guy for sure and he has really bad psychological issues. He needs treatment. Avoid this place like the plague...he overcharged as well and complained all the way through that he was not charging enough. He is a whiner with mega anger problems he directs at customers. Worse with women too - saw how he spoke to a customer there - she was stunned. read more

Ray is 2nd to none! best place in Westchester for all your vehicle customization needs! top quality!

Beware of Bait and Switch!!! I took my car to auto images in May to have my radio upgraded. Ray showed me a few options. I leave a deposit for a specific unit and he tells me to come back the next day for installation. I arrive at the shop the next morning and Ray informs me that they no longer have the radio which I had a deposit for, but for an additional $300 he could "upgrade" me to another model. I should have asked for a refund right then but after repeatedly telling Ray I was not interested in his "upgrade" he agreed to order the unit we agreed upon and call me when it arrives. Two months later I get a call from Ray, "we have your radio come in tomorrow to have it installed." I arrive at the shop and again they do not have the radio we agreed upon, Ray goes on to try and sell me more expensive models and gives me a sob story about how he special ordered parts for my car. I had to repeatedly tell him I wanted my deposit back. He finally agreed to give a refund but had to see if the credit card machine was working, thankfully I was able to get my refund with no issue but I would warn anyone thinking of taking their car here to avoid auto images and Ray at all costs. read more

I did not have to wait at all. I called ahead and the man told me to come right over. Helped me out so much and at a great price! I will be going back read more

Ray stands behind his work. When my backup camera installation interfered with FM reception (I believe the hardware was defective from the start) Ray upgraded AT NO COST TO ME to a better camera. I've followed him from his first location, he will always get my business. read more

Second to none in customer service. I've known Ray for many years now as he's worked on at least 6-8 of my cars. Fair prices, great communication, sticks to his word, and if ever a problem he'll stand behind his installs 1,000 %. He's gone out of his way for me and more importantly my family. I was having a hard time driving at night #babyboomer. Ray gave me a good deal on LED bulbs for my headlights. When I told him I still couldn't see he upgraded the bulbs at no extra cost to me. NOW I CAN SEE THE ROAD AT NIGHT!! He asked me to write a review...LOL...but he deserves a good review because he was sympathetic and took care of me. Thanks Ray! read more

Ray is an excellent and very respectful person. He is very knowledgeable in the business and very affordable as well. Pristine quality work. I refuse go to anyone else for any of my auto needs! And if it is something he cannot do, he will recommend me to the best places! Ray is the best! read more

The quality and professionalism provided by Ray was incredible. I called Ray early in the week and asked for an appointment to tint the windows to my new RDX. I told Ray that I needed an early appointment and that I needed the car back before noon. Ray accommodated both of my requests and delivered a great product. I am very happy with the quality of the service, products, and price. I will definitely use Ray's detailing services when he moves to his new location by Savannahs BBQ. Cheers. read more

This is the only place that I will allow to touch my baby. The owner is a fairly young fellow, but far from a novice, very kind, very professional. I am extremely particular about my car and probably not the easiest client to please, but Ray and his staff have exceeded my expectations every time. Their new location on 202 is beautifully done and I know if you come here, you won't be disappointed! read more

This place is the worst. The customer service is a joke. Took my car there based on a rec from the dealership. Should have done my research first. They broke the part they were suppossed to install and refused to own up to it. Had to buy the part and pay to have it installed elsewhere. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. He said he didn't break it when I watched him pull and tug on the part, until it broke and then tell me it was my fault because I bought a cheap part. This place is a joke. Wish I could give them a 0 star rating Stay away from here, unless you don't mind being treated like crap. read more

K. Walleck. Brought GMC Van in to have alarm system installed, and rearview monitor installed. 4 1/2 hours later got call they locked the keys in the van. Will update comments after job is done only two stars for now read more

AVOID!!!! He installed an automatic door opener on my 2012 Honda Odyssey and never had the sense, professionalism or decency to inform me that this install would DISABLE one of the sliding doors!!! He turned my 2012 Honda into a 1998 Honda!!! I have 3 kids and the sliding doors is why I bought the Odyssey in the first place!! I went to his dilapidated shop the next day to complain and he said he would take the system out the next day with a full refund. The next day came and he told my husband that he didn't like the way I spoke to him and that he would call the police if we went to get it un-installed (he didn't like that I was upset for losing the car for a full day and now would lose again for yet another day). He told my husband to sue him.....so we did! The judge clearly saw how ridiculous the situation was and found him liable to refund our money. Of course he ignored the court's order and we had to have the Sheriff's office handle the situation. It should also be noted that he put tint in another car a couple of years prior and they removed my car from the shop without my permission and the tint had dog hair in it. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would especially zero for Ray. I've had tint work done in the past by Louie and it was perfect so I figured I have the same results again, boy was I wrong. I had the two front windows done and was told it would take 40 minutes...1hr and 1/2 later out comes the car. Ray apologized and said its taking longer because he wants it to look good. After I look over the work I notice a few scratches and he says they will come out in a few days. Fast forward 4 days...tint is still scratched. I call we make another appointment and I show up and Louie is out of town...great so he calls in this other guy. Starts the work while his guy is on the way and after an 1hr and 1/2 invited me to the back to see one side done and it looks great! 10min later the other side is done and he rolls it out. I look over the driver side and of course it has a few scratches in the corner about the size of a putty knife. I ask him to come take a look and he comes over and rips the tint off both windows and tells me I'll refund you. What an asshole!! I'm like dude are you serif right now what are you doing? He says, nah no big deal no big deal?? Really you are attacking my car you jerk. He says go to Putnam window tint. There is no such thing as "perfect tint" I can't help you. Needless to say I'm pissed and he really could care less. This is terrible business and I would never step foot in this crappy place again. I call Putnam window tint and I guess he used to work there and he's a hot head that does this crap all the time when he messes up. Looking forward to getting my perfect tint elsewhere. read more

Perfection from start to finish. Ray is genuinely a nice guy who cares about people. His attention to custumer service is exceptional and his prices are very reasonable. Ray listens and offers great suggestions. He installed a radio and speakers in my 2005 BMW convertible. The work was flawless. He took time to explain how everything with the radio works. He repaired a rip in the leather seat and it looks like new ! He cleaned the carpets and brought them back to the original color. Auto Images is like a day spa for your car. Ray communicates with you the entire time he has your car. He is really unique. There is no reason to go anywhere else but Auto Images ! I look forward to bringing my cars there again. read more

Got a remote starter put in. One month later my truck breaks down. Long story short It was caused by the remote starter. I had to get it removed by another place and they showed me what they used to install the starter. They used a stereo wire for one of the wire hookups under the hood. It looked as if they used anything laying around to install the starter. What a nightmare. DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you want to get ripped off and aggravated. Their prices are cheap because they use any old parts literally and the 'mechanic' is a joke. read more
