This is a place for car mods, details, and stereos only. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! I want to make that very clear. There was an old school 1977 Silverado in the front that intrigued me. If you regularly drive on route 202, you know what pickup truck I'm talking about. I went in one day and asked about the truck. The owner, Chris, told me the truck has about 99,000 miles and it's $19,000 to buy. That's an absolute ripoff! I knew right away I wasn't going to buy this truck but I wanted to test drive it anyway for the experience, so he started the truck and let me drive it down the road and back. It was already a red flag that he didn't take my license and insurance and let me drive solo. This is a situation that is unheard of. I easily could've stole the vehicle and next return it. I didn't even make it to the McDonald's down the road until the faulty truck spun out, striking a vehicle passing me on my left. Chris was very unprofessional when I called him on the phone about the accident, saying "Are you fucking kidding me?" and "I knew I shouldn't have let you drive that truck!" When he came to the scene, he provided false information to the police, saying that I slammed on the brakes and drove the truck without his consent (clearly a lie). It was later revealed the faulty truck was past its inspection date. He didn't ask for my insurance and license until after I returned to the shop. He attempted to use my insurance against me and claim that I was at fault. At the end of the day, I was thankful insurance held the owner of the truck liable. I was very fortunate to exchange numbers with the person who I crashed into. During the phone call, she was very critical of Chris. According her statements, she looked into the same truck for her son. She decided not to further look into the truck because it took over a minute the engine to start. She also said that he is a convicted felon, troubled when in high school, and will try to scam you. Think twice before you want to shop here, and I suggest you go to another store for any car mods. read more

I wanna take the time to thank Ray for being the kindest human being ever and being super supportive when he didn't even need to be and as someone who came to him at a time where a beloved friend of mine had passed, it was a hand of support I truly needed. He took such good care of my car and my needs and that kindness doesn't go unnoticed. I came here for tints to help alleviate my chronic migraine symptoms while driving after getting my exemption with my physician and the DMV. I had 2 migraines since (first week) and driving was not as difficult and I could actually open my eyes and safely focus. I recommend this business to the highest of my ability. Got a used Subaru & wanted a hitch for my bike rack installed in time for an upcoming vacation. Auto Images came highly recommended by the guys at the bike shop. But it came in the next day. He called me up, set up time to get it done, completed it on time, and even installed the bike rack for me. He was very professional and great to work with. I left a deposit to have XM installed. They said they had to order the parts and would call me the next day. I never heard from them. I called later the next day and was told they couldn't get to me until the following week. Long story short I told them I wanted to cancel. I was then told, they'd call me back in an hour to install later that day. Well you guessed it, no phone call. I had to dispute the charge to get my money back! I needed tints for my Porsche Cayenne front two windows in a hurry because I was leaving for a long drive back to Houston TX the next day and the sun was burning me on the highways. I contacted Ray and he scheduled me in right away and was done in under 2 hours! The tints were flawless and it really helped me on the long drive! - I forgot about another review but last year I brought my GT3 in because it was missing the OEM radio trim. I contacted Ray and he ordered up the trim with no deposit and arrived the very next day and had it installed within minutes. Looks much cleaner and am very happy with the service he provides. I agree re zero stars. My friend told me not to go ro this guy for any reason but I got confused with the place she told me and ended up using Ray and totally regret it. They did bad work - the tint peeled off I found velcro stickers from a lay down mat in back of car stuck onto the OUTSIDE of my car and a piece of yellowing tape stuck above windshield. Both damaged exterior. Took way lonnger to do all he was supposed to and he just didn't care. He did not complete the work - extra item was never installed.I literally could not cope to get him to fix it. Just wanted to never see or talk to him again. Crappy work and crappy treatment by the guy for sure and he has really bad psychological issues. He needs treatment. Avoid this place like the plague...he overcharged as well and complained all the way through that he was not charging enough. He is a whiner with mega anger problems he directs at customers. Worse with women too - saw how he spoke to a customer there - she was stunned. read more

Beware of Bait and Switch!!! I took my car to auto images in May to have my radio upgraded. Ray showed me a few options. I leave a deposit for a specific unit and he tells me to come back the next day for installation. I arrive at the shop the next morning and Ray informs me that they no longer have the radio which I had a deposit for, but for an additional $300 he could "upgrade" me to another model. I should have asked for a refund right then but after repeatedly telling Ray I was not interested in his "upgrade" he agreed to order the unit we agreed upon and call me when it arrives. Two months later I get a call from Ray, "we have your radio come in tomorrow to have it installed." I arrive at the shop and again they do not have the radio we agreed upon, Ray goes on to try and sell me more expensive models and gives me a sob story about how he special ordered parts for my car. I had to repeatedly tell him I wanted my deposit back. He finally agreed to give a refund but had to see if the credit card machine was working, thankfully I was able to get my refund with no issue but I would warn anyone thinking of taking their car here to avoid auto images and Ray at all costs. read more

I was having a hard time driving at night #babyboomer. Ray gave me a good deal on LED bulbs for my headlights. When I told him I still couldn't see he upgraded the bulbs at no extra cost to me. This place is the worst. The customer service is a joke. Took my car there based on a rec from the dealership. Should have done my research first. They broke the part they were suppossed to install and refused to own up to it. Had to buy the part and pay to have it installed elsewhere. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. He said he didn't break it when I watched him pull and tug on the part, until it broke and then tell me it was my fault because I bought a cheap part. This place is a joke. AVOID!!!! He installed an automatic door opener on my 2012 Honda Odyssey and never had the sense, professionalism or decency to inform me that this install would DISABLE one of the sliding doors!!! He turned my 2012 Honda into a 1998 Honda!!! I have 3 kids and the sliding doors is why I bought the Odyssey in the first place!! I went to his dilapidated shop the next day to complain and he said he would take the system out the next day with a full refund. The next day came and he told my husband that he didn't like the way I spoke to him and that he would call the police if we went to get it un-installed (he didn't like that I was upset for losing the car for a full day and now would lose again for yet another day). He told my husband to sue him.....so we did! The judge clearly saw how ridiculous the situation was and found him liable to refund our money. Of course he ignored the court's order and we had to have the Sheriff's office handle the situation. It should also be noted that he put tint in another car a couple of years prior and they removed my car from the shop without my permission and the tint had dog hair in it. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would especially zero for Ray. I've had tint work done in the past by Louie and it was perfect so I figured I have the same results again, boy was I wrong. I had the two front windows done and was told it would take 40 minutes...1hr and 1/2 later out comes the car. Ray apologized and said its taking longer because he wants it to look good. After I look over the work I notice a few scratches and he says they will come out in a few days. Fast forward 4 days...tint is still scratched. I call we make another appointment and I show up and Louie is out of town...great so he calls in this other guy. Starts the work while his guy is on the way and after an 1hr and 1/2 invited me to the back to see one side done and it looks great! 10min later the other side is done and he rolls it out. I look over the driver side and of course it has a few scratches in the corner about the size of a putty knife. I ask him to come take a look and he comes over and rips the tint off both windows and tells me I'll refund you. What an asshole!! I'm like dude are you serif right now what are you doing? He says, nah no big deal no big deal?? Really you are attacking my car you jerk. He says go to Putnam window tint. There is no such thing as "perfect tint" I can't help you. Needless to say I'm pissed and he really could care less. This is terrible business and I would never step foot in this crappy place again. I call Putnam window tint and I guess he used to work there and he's a hot head that does this crap all the time when he messes up. Looking forward to getting my perfect tint elsewhere. read more

Got a remote starter put in. One month later my truck breaks down. Long story short It was caused by the remote starter. I had to get it removed by another place and they showed me what they used to install the starter. They used a stereo wire for one of the wire hookups under the hood. It looked as if they used anything laying around to install the starter. What a nightmare. DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you want to get ripped off and aggravated. Their prices are cheap because they use any old parts literally and the 'mechanic' is a joke. read more
