Yes, a mechanic is going to be expensive, but taking your vehicle to someone disreputable is going to be even more expensive. They are a small shop so if you don't call ahead it can take some time, but they use good quality parts, priced reasonably, and ultimately do good and thorough work. What's great is they explain exactly what they've found, why they're doing the things they propose and conduct themselves in such a way that they provide the right assurances you're not being taken advantage of. Being such a small spot, the only thing you'll want to consider is dropping your car off for any lengthier work as there's only a few seats outside where you can wait.
