I was then told it would take an hour and a half after a mechanic was free to do the work. I asked why they don't adhere to appointment times and was told they just want the car to be available at that time for when a mechanic can get to it. I had to take the car without getting the software update. On another occasion, I had a 7:30am appointment for an inspection which was supposed to take about an hour. After 2 hours, I asked where my car was and was told the mechanics don't come in until 8:00am. I asked why they made me sit for an extra half hour with no work being done. They then said they would check on the status but didn't get back to me so another half hour later I asked again and I was told that they lost my key. My hour appointment turned into a several hour fiasco. I don't know how they stay in business or why anyone goes there. Doesn't anyone at Honda realize that our time matters?

I returned to the mavis and it turns out they made a mistake which the manager admitted to and said one of his mechanics capped off the wrong cap. At this point I don't even know if they did the oil change and accidentally drained the transmission oil. In the end I spent another 3 hours or more there to fix this issue, don't trust their timing response best bet is to just drop off your vehicle and pray. Thank god this is a rental car and not my own personal vehicle, which could also be a reason why all of these alleged mistakes happened.
