I texted owner Olivia on Friday and over the weekend we agreed on a price (thank you for your patriotism with the military discount on the already-reasonable price!) and time for the repair. She arrived on time on Monday and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. She was very efficient, professional, and had no problem answering my many questions about the process. The result is almost invisible, just a small spot where she had to drill into the glass to start the process. In the after photo, it's the tiny spot in the center of the photo - it looks more like a spot on the center lower half of the door to the house. If I am ever unlucky enough to need a windshield repaired or replaced again, my first call will be to Olivia. And if you ever need a windshield repaired or replaced, Glassify should be on your very short list of companies to contact.

We also put a blue security film on the glass before hand to protect the glass from shattering during removal for our amazing installers protection. We had Daniel and Micheal this time again They were so impressed with the flashing we provided (easier to use and better width) they asked where we got it. It's available at Lowe's, home Depot, and Amazon. Remember it still takes time to apply it so there's still a labor charge This time we were able to view the process from a complete original window removal through to a new construction window install and they did a fabulous job AGAIN! They didn't smash glass or use a reciprocating saw but took the time to remove the window in one piece our difficult siding thanks them! Impressed AGAIN! STAY local! For the level of care they use and willing to look into different materials AAA+ rating! We are eagerly awaiting our Milgard c700 fiberglass window install and will update! First drive after the installation I had smoke in my cabin and my entire dash electronics went out, my screen glitching, my rpm gauge jumping etc... went straight back to this shop where John refused to take a look at the windshield and re seal it, he reassured me it has nothing to do with the windshield. Spent 6 months in shops where after quite of bit of time and money it was discovered water damage behind dash where all dash electronics were affected, as well as AC amp. John himself did a leak test in the shop and "proved" with a video that there's no water leak from the windshield, suggested it's my sunroof that's leaking. After my secondary request of windshield inspection in the dealership, techs discovered the windshield was actually leaking. Yet this professional installer is refusing to take responsibility claiming this wasn't his fault, blaming it on the previous installers??? He also claimed he installed it in his shop, when he installed it on a parking lot on a rainy day. This is not only about my financial expenses, but also my stress, headaches, not being able to drive my car for half a year, extra expenses on rental cars and what not. This person answered my call, after hearing this, he said I'm not responsible GOODBYE LADY!

I got 3 stone chips in my windshield yesterday while driving in Reno…read more I stopped by Safelight to get a repair estimate and was told $250.00 I then stopped by Great Price for an estimate and after looking at my car, the folks there gave me an estimate in writing for a total of $80.00, which I accepted and made an appointment to get the work done. When I got there this morning to get the chips repaired, the guy who met me told me the repair would be $240.00. I showed him the written estimate of $80.00 total, and he said that it was per chip, 3 chips would be $240.00. The estimate was written after they examined the car, saw all 3 chips, and knew exactly what work was needed. The written estimate was shown as a total price, not a per chip price. The lady who made the estimate and appointment never mentioned her quote was a per chip, and nowhere on the estimate does it say anything about a per chip price. I feel like the guy at Great Price was trying to cheat me.

They do not answer their phone. They rarely call you back. I will give them a point for the charge, it was reasonable, and they only charged me for the glass, not labor. Maybe it's because they know they blew it by keeping it so long and not answering the phone. I try my hardest to support all the local shops and businesses, but sometimes that comes back and bites you in the butt.
