Vey professional staff and seem to care about each phase of work they do. Repairs and state inspections were handled quickly. They discuss the work carefully and you never feel like you are being mislead. Will keep using them for sure. read more

I called this place for service and all... they told me yes, bring your car in... so the next day, after work, tired and all, I went there. Mind you, it was raining as well. Stepped into the place and reminded them of what I needed and whom I spoke to on the phone. They were like yes... yes... dude looked up, saw me, and I guess either he profiled me or just didn't like me, or whatever the case was, said he would need to look at my car first. For a wheel alignment and AC fixing. Dude walked outside to my car and came back. Then said "NO". I was like I drop almost 45 mins to get here and after been told yes and yes to all of my inquiries, now that I'm here in person... it's a No. so yeah, nothing was done. No service rendered, all I got was profiled and refused service. So when I got back home to Philly. Some other shop did the work and respectfully, if I must say so. PS: I don't want a reply from the business other either. This is a review and I've honestly left one and don't need an explanation or justification, as I would never return there again. I just happen to work in the area that's all. read more

I have been a customer for years, always had good service & friendly attention. Yes I have to wait sometimes when they are very busy, but other times I am pleasantly surprised that they have finished working on my car so quickly. read more

Thank you Auto Express for your swift, caring, high-quality service during our recent trip. We had driven 350 miles for a family reunion near Doylestown when a tire was damaged by a sharp metal object. Driving home on the spare was impossible, nor did we want to miss our big family event. Mike and the excellent crew at Auto Express quickly accessed the problem, ordered parts (due to a lug nut issue), repaired the tire and installed it. We arrived at the reunion on-time. Our return trip to Virginia was care-free due to the wonderful people at Auto Express. read more

Be prepared to wait 2 1/2 hours for an Oil Change and 2 air filters when they're NOT busy. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else to be. Next time, I think I'll try Valvoline across the street and be in and out in 20-30 minutes. read more

Dropped off my Jeep for main battery replacement, was quoted and charged $250 for new battery not expecting they would tack on $200 for labor. Absolutely ridiculous read more

Always friendly, efficient and thorough. Been coming here for years; Wouldn't bring our cars anywhere else.

The people at AE of D-Town always treat me like a valued customer and that's rare these days. They earn your business. They are responsive and courteous. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable concerning my vehicle and also provide warranty service when needed. I've been in the area 8 years now and I would not take my car anywhere else. read more

Professional courteous, genuine customer service. Would highly recommend. Easy scheduling and repair updates and status.

Do not take your car here! They will rip you off !! They add in "fees " at the end that were not disclosed at the beginning And you will be stuck having to pay extra. Service is terrible. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I have had my car inspected 2 times at Auto Express in Doylestown. Each time was great and a big shout out to Nick, Shawn and Toby. I have an older car, a 2009, but it has low miles. Shawn and Nick were great and never tried to upsell me, or tell me that I needed stuff done to my car, that I didn't need. I highly recommend Auto Express for all your Automotive needs. They also have a great waiting room with internet so I can work while I wait! read more

Honest repair shop In Doylestown. After my car dealer said my inspection wouldn't pass without replacement of my rear windshield motor, I called three other auto shops to get the scoop. All three agreed... you don't need to have it operable to pass. (Honda wanted to charge me $600) Zach at Auto Express was kind enough to fit my car in same day. My son in law's family members all highly recommended Auto Express. Should have listened to them years ago! read more

My husband and I recently moved to the area. We needed inspections for our cars. Auto Express in Doylestown was recommended to us. We made appointments to wait for the cars. One car was ready in an hour but the other car had a minor technical issue so we left the car and waited to be called to pick it up. Chris was excellent. Everything was handled very professionally. There were no hidden costs nor did they try to tell us anything was wrong that needed to be fixed. We were very pleased with the service. Highly recommend this place. read more

Absolute crooks that take advantage of people that are in an unpredictable situation or do not know automobiles. Overcharged for a new tire, nickel and dime for everything and pull the old nitrogen tire fill scam. Have kids in the shop that are not skilled. The kids at the front desk are salty and rude. Unfortunately they took advantage of one of my kids. Never again. read more

This is the most honest auto service shop I have ever been to. The team here really knows what they're doing and they do great work. The guy at the front desk is professional, friendly, and very helpful. And it's not with just me. I witness excellent customer service by Nick to a variety of customers while I was waiting for the oil change on my Jeep. These guys are rock stars at what they do. I will never take my Jeep anywhere else. I've already found the BEST. read more

Took a bit longer than I would have liked but they were busy. Job completed no surprises

DONT USE THIS COMPANY..... They are the worst. Went for an oil change on a 2014 MB E350, probably one of the most common MB on the road. I waited in the lobby looking through the window into shop. The drained the oil, then replaced with new oil. then decide to change the old filter They couldnt find a wrench to remove the oil filter Once they got it off replaced filter and put filter cover back on. When I questioned why they didnt replace the o ring ,Chris the deskboy stated that car didnt have an Oring. When I told him that was not true he then stated well it didnt come with the filter, an extra $45 that wasnt told about. Then mechanic proceeds to start the engine without replacing the oil cap spewing oil all over the engine. He fixes that by spraying brake cleaner all over the engine bay. States that is standard procedure when testing oil pressure....Place is a joke. The deskboy Chris has the audacity to have an attitude with me when I question the $159 bill for a $99 oil change. I dont make the prices was his brillant response. Consumer beware this place doesnt know what their doing and treat their clients like fools.....Will never go there again and will advise everyone to stay away read more

Just had my QX80 detailed for the 1st time in 4 years. Can't believe I waited so long. It is truly like my car is new again. Great job. Great price. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a reinspection on my vehicle. Arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment. Not very busy in the shop however I waited 2 1/2 hours for this to be completed. I guess because the job didn't pay anything (since it was only a reinspection) nobody wanted to do the job. Very poor handling and oversight by the service writer read more

Really like this place. Been in twice now. Once to replace a headlamp bulb, the other engine and oil filters and and wiper blades. Courteous service. Place is nice and clean. Prices are competitive as well. They followed up with me a few days later to see how my experience was. For basic car type service they offer I would definitely recommend them. read more

We have used Auto Express for many years to service all of our family cars. I always thought that they were trustworthy and honest, until our most recent visit. We had an oil change on September 24, 2022; we were told that the car was in great shape. We drove the car four times times during the next two weeks for approximately 30 miles; the fifth time we drove the car we heard a loud noise and smelled something burning. We had the car towed to Auto Express; they looked at it, told us the oil filter had come off, the engine had seized and it would cost $5500 to fix. When we asked how this could have happened, they said someone must have driven over something and dislodged the oil filter; they saw scratches on the undercarriage. I told them no one had hit anything, and that it was quite a coincidence that they had changed the oil only two weeks prior to the oil filter falling off. I asked if it were possible that they failed to tighten the oil filter, and they repeated that someone had driven over something and dislodged the oil filter. We had AAA tow the car to the local Ford dealer, and the tow truck driver said this was not the first time he had heard of Auto Express installing an oil filter improperly. I was told at the Ford dealer that if we had driven over something there would be "substantial impact damage" and that the car would likely not be drivable. Upon inspection, the Ford dealership said there was no evidence of such impact damage. By failing to admit a mistake and falsely accuse the customer of causing the damage, Auto Express has proven to be untrustworthy, as well as negligent. We would have been willing to reach some kind of compromise, but they refused to admit any wrongdoing. For your sake, go to the dealer or find another mechanic to service your car. read more

I've been to Auto Express twice and both times the service was excellent. The first time I dropped by to replace a headlight. They took my car immediately. Very quick in and out. The second time I got an oil change and they rotated the tires. This time I have a longer wait, but they have a decent waiting area. There is even a place to charge your phone (they even provide the chargers!). If you forgot your device, they have tablets for customers to use! I made myself a cup of coffee (free), plugged my phone in and read a book. Before I knew it, my car was done. Everyone was super nice and the price was reasonable. I'll definitely be back! read more

After a few more visits here with multiple vehicles for varying repairs/maintenance, I won't be back. My average wait time for simple procedures has gone through the roof, including a 4-hour wait for a simple part install that they quoted at "15-20 minutes" and a 3 1/2 hour wait for an inspection. Granted, unexpected setbacks do occur in the midst of a repair but to not communicate this to the customer and to put them in a position to constantly have to check in with the front desk to find out what is happening is unacceptable. Constantly being told "Sorry, we had the wrong part and had to go get the right one" or "They said it's almost done" and then sitting there for another hour until you ask them again and they tell you the same thing is just too unprofessional. My review would have been much more forgiving had they just set reasonable expectations on time-frame and actually updated me on the progress/setbacks. That's not a lot to ask and certainly not a great reason to lose my business. read more

They tried to charge me more than their advertised and listed price with no explanation. Buyer beware.

Went in and asked for a cheap tire ha! I got the second to most expensive in there! Saw on thier website $72.00 for a tire to fit my car, they charge me $110 for a tire that was $105 so even that they overcharged me! Bottom line is I spent $143.56 for a tire that was supposed to cost me $108 what a rip off! read more

I have been to Auto Express for oil and tires over the years and always had a good experience. They do inspections now which saved me $800 last week. I had taken my car to the service station/national tire chain store up the street where I was quoted $1,100 in repairs to get my inspection. Front/back brake pads/rotors were required. It smelled pretty bad in there so paid the tire store $75 for the inspection and left unapproved. I then took my car to Auto Express. Front pads had about 25% left and rear only needed pads. Ended up with inspection and new rear pads only saving me over $800. Nothing more important than the trust factor in this business and these guys seem to take that seriously every time I've been through. read more

They are so nice and informative , don't try to push you for additional services when you go in for oil change. I had a problem recently and stopped in to ask them for help. Do not trust them when it comes to inspecting your car. They failed my 3 year old car and quoted me $1,200 part. I grew suspicious that this was not legitimate. I proceeded to get a second third and fourth opinion including the dealer. All stated there was no way they would have failed the car and it did not require this new part. Not surprised. When the issue was raised with the Manager to double check what the employee found, the comment was made" What do you want me to do force him to change his mind? I can get the state Police in here to verify his finding and I am sure they will find a lot more reasons to fail." Shitty unethical business practices. I can't believe this kind of shit still exists. read more

This place is a total rip off place. I was trying to get my inspection done for my X5, they told me I needed some new suspension parts. Later found out, I didn't needed. It would have been premature to replace them. $600. I will never go there. Not recommended. read more

I got a flat tire last night. AAA had to send 2 people out to get the tire off my car, as it was pretty stuck on there from the pothole I had hit. Both of the technicians who came out recommended taking my car to auto express to have the tire repaired or replaced. I called this morning and they were so accommodating. I took my car in and they were able to repair the tire and they took the donut off and put the repaired tire back on my car for me. They didn't even charge me for it! I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The shop and waiting area was super clean and comfortable. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend them! read more

I love this place. A couple of days ago I unexpectedly ended up there with a van door stuck open. They diagnosed and repaired the problem in less than an hour and didn't even charge me.
