Assistant Manager CJ was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there. They take the time to explain you different tire options, speed ratings, tread types etc. Not only did they not try to up sell me, but they told me about a near identical tire that was on sale and saved me a lot of money over just replacing with the same tires that I had. They also did not try to sell my any extra services, and just explained services they would be happy to do for me, but were not urgent. They continuously go above and beyond for their customers. Prompt & Honest Diagnostics: My car had a Check Engine Light, and because driving it wasn't safe, I had it towed to their shop. As soon as it arrived, they called me to gather details, diagnosed the issue (spark plugs), and resolved it quickly at a very reasonable price. Customer-First Advice: When the light came back on the next day, I brought it back. They verified their initial repair was solid, but identified a new issue: a fuel pump failure, which is a known TSB issue on Lexus SUVs. Instead of immediately selling me a expensive repair, Patrick, my service advisor, honestly advised me to check with a dealer first to see if it might be covered under a recall. Saving Time & Money: The local Lexus dealership quoted me $2,300 and mentioned the backordered part would take days to arrive. Disappointed with the dealer, I brought my car straight back to Christian Brothers. Even though the part was on backorder everywhere, their team worked tirelessly to expedite it, kept me informed, and completed the repair for a fraction of the dealer's quote. Unmatched Hospitality: Throughout this whole process, the owner personally provided complimentary shuttle rides to and from the facility. I had a very disappointing experience at Christian Brothers Automotive (Montgomery Mall, 565 DeKalb…read morePike, North Wales). My son brought in our car to have both rear brakes replaced. He provided the parts and was quoted about $300 for labor. The shop only replaced one rear brake, discovered the other caliper was seized, and then reassembled the car without calling us for options. Afterward, they informed him the vehicle was unsafe to drive but still charged the full $300 labor fee -- despite not completing the job. To make matters worse, they didn't even have the caliper in stock, leaving us with no solution. This was unacceptable. The lack of communication, releasing an unsafe car, and charging full price for incomplete work shows poor customer service and questionable business practices. Customers deserve honesty, fair billing, and consideration for safety, none of which we experienced here. Thomas Stevens was very dishonest, stating that we resided out of town on our invoice, when we live 15 minutes away from this location. Here at this location, they consider everyone else's position, but the customer. Their practices are unethical, immoral, and unjustifiable. My recommendation is that you search elsewhere for your automobile services as this franchise is anything but Christian based. I have reached out to the owner and I am waiting on a response. I will update this Post upon hearing from the Owner, Chip Eissler. I'm not sure if they're even recognized by the Better Business Bureau. I will look into it.

I first went to GT several years ago. They're nice enough. went in for a routine oil change, and when I went to pick up my car, got slammed with an unexpected bill. I questioned it and told them I didn't consent to any of this. They apologized, said they do this service for all their customers. I asked them to notate on my record I do not consent and only want the requested service next time. Fast forward to August 2024- dropped my car off for a routine oil change, picked it up to an unexpected $400 bill, with $200 of that being labor. They changed lights that didn't need to be changed, a key fob that I didn't ask for, amongst a few other things. Never once was I called and asked if this was ok. I was expecting to maybe spend $150 max and was taken by surprise. When I spoke to the owner he was argumentative and rude. They are unethical and disgusting. only go here if you want unwanted work without consent done on your car, where you'll spent hundreds of dollars you weren't asking to. Loved that extra little bit of care because nothing drives me crazier than trying to find an envelope and pen in my car because there's nothing but a key drop slot in the door in so many other places. They think of the little things. I had made my appointment online a couple of weeks before using one of the flyers that came in the mail, I scanned the QR code. I did put it in my phone as a reminder however I actually put in the wrong day, I would have been a day late however they sent me a reminder text to let me know that hey your appointment is coming up. Amazing, and very timely! I spoke mainly with Brandon and in all my years I have never spoken to any car repair place and receive such great service. He listened to my concerns as I have a few because my car is older. They kept me apprised of every step of the way. From initial diagnostics, when they finish them they sent me a link that took me to a website but not only detailed information about what needed to be done, but also recommendations with PICTURES to show what they were talking about. I was able to show them to my brother who was mechanic in New Jersey he said I see their concern and he agreed on their diagnostics, but we're getting rid of the car within a year so no need to do those things right now. When I spoke to Brandon we talked about what needed to be done for the inspection, the things that I wanted to have done extra including the oil and having an A/C repaired, and there was zero hard sell of any of the other options that were recommended but not needed at time of service. I have never had such an amazing experience at a mechanic shop in all my years and I can guarantee I will never go to another auto repair shop as long as I live in this area, I finally found the best mechanics around and trust me I've been to probably just about all of them including dealerships. I had a tricky battery issue that they helped me sort out over the past week, and they were nothing but honest, patient, and helpful the whole way through. We had a very negative experience recently and won't be returning. Not sure how we could trust them after this... Took our car to hinks as we've done for years for an inspection. Was quoted over $2,750 for repairs necessary to make the car pass inspection. With such a high price tag to fix an older car, we actually considered trading it in for a new car before ultimately deciding to get it fixed. Priced out the parts online and found that with labor, should've been able to get the car repaired for about half the price. Took it to another area garage that confirmed they'd be able to do the repair for $1,200, so we went with that garage. When they went to do the work, we got a call from them and I was expecting bad news and additional repairs / money needed... but they actually told me that they couldn't find any of these major problems with the car. There was only one minor fix needed. Car passed inspection and the inspection and minor repair cost me $125. I was so shocked that I took it to a 3rd garage and asked them to review the issues Hinks had identified and the 3rd garage confirmed they couldn't find any sign of those issues. Feel taken advantage of by a business we've been supporting for years. Would've been taken for a $2,500 ride if we didn't get a second opinion.
