The tactic was to provide me with a bill which was excessively high, never gave me the breakdown as to how they derived to said amount - illegal tactic! They used to be Bobby Towing which were sued by the Attorney General, they renamed to Dutchess Towing, now they are all operating as Redl Towing. Fraudulent company - BEWARE!!!!!

I called the company and the tow truck operator price gouged me on New Year's Day. He charged me $175 bucks for a tow to a local garage that was closed. I didn't mind paying the $125 for the tow. He charged me $50 for a storage fee. The car was towed at 9:00 am and was still on the truck when I arrived at 11:30. The tow truck driver claimed that he had to store the car on his truck and that justified him charging me a $50 same-day storage fee. This Towing Company and it's towing operator are rip-off specialists. Be careful, don't call then. They may charge you another fee if it is snowing or raining. Happy New Year!!

After waiting with my car for an hour and calling him about 4-5 times, I got now response. I left money in my car for him and an address where to drop it off in hopes that maybe he will still come. Mike said yes right away and he even gave me a break on the price. The driver Sunny came within minutes and towed the car back to NYC. It was at least a 3 hour transport.
