I don't usually write reviews on places, but this one definitely earned one today. I drive a 2003 Mercedes Convertible. With other 100k miles on it, there are some definite repairs needing to be done. I've had a weird clunk going on for about 8 months now, increasingly getting worse. I recently got an oil change and was told my tires needed to be replaced immediately because they had gone completely bare. Upon doing that at a Discount Tire, they referred me to this place to get an alignment done. I mentioned the strange clunk I had and they said they'd take a look at it while doing the alignment and if they saw anything they'd let me know before charging a diagnostic fee if we needed to continue from there. They even drove me to the mall right next door while I waited for the work to be done. When I got back, they let me know it was a simple bolt on a support bar. A simple bolt had been making a really horrible noise for about 8 months and this repair shop let me know honestly and fixed it for free. Previous shops fixed my ball joints thinking that was the culprit, costing over 800 dollars to fix, and others suggested far more than a bolt. I told them I was hesitant to ask for help and they did me even better and fixed the solution. A great place that I definitely plan to be going back to for future repairs, alignments, and more. Lisa at Auto Check Elite was amazing in working with me. Our car needed some serious TLC, more than I anticipated. My budget for repairs for the day was $250-300. When she called me back saying our car really needed $2600 in repairs, it was quite a shock. But she walked me through the process of what neede to be done, what was most important, and what should be done first in accordance to what was REALLY about to break and cause more problems. They ARE A little more expensive than your regular shop BUT ALL of their repairs/parts come with a three-year warranty so if anything breaks/goes wrong that they fixed, you can bring it back and they fix it. I love this for a lot of reasons. But mostly because it means they will do it right the first time and stand by their work. As a female, I always DREAD putting my car in the shop because I am usually treated like I'm stupid and jacked around on prices. I called several shops in the area, and when a woman answered the phone here, I knew immediately I was taking my car there. Fair pricing, honest work, backed by a 3-year warranty. I don't even know where begin. I have been going here for about a year , I am always by myself with 2 children my husband works far away. The customer service has just honestly exceeded itself , just when I thought it couldn't get any better !! My car has been having ongoing problems and to hear that it was going to cost me a lot to fix the issues was very frustrating. But Paul worked with me from the first day and Matt always makes sure they treat me so good . They always give me a rental no fee or nothing , they pull it up so I can have easy access to get my kids in and out and grab all my belongings. They even called the warranty and other company's of my car to get things covered that they didn't even think was possible. Paul is new and he was so patient with me and called me every step of the way. It's really great knowing that I have a home their and I don't have to worry about people trying to screw me over because I'm a woman and totally being able to trust the whole team , Christine is also so awesome along with Apollo the dog who my daughter just loves. WOW! What exceptional service I received today!!!! :-) I do not typically write reviews, but Alex went ABSOLUTELY above and beyond to ensure that my car was repaired efficiently!!!....He also fixed a few light bulbs that needed to be replaced WITHOUT me even asking, and had my car cleaned. I am HUGE on great customer service, so they definitely have a loyal customers for life with my husband and I. I must say that I was a little skeptical trying a new car repair place, but the place I have been going to for years is too far away, since we recently relocated. I saw all of the good reviews posted and immediately thought...This place is either REALLY good, or they paid A LOT of money to get people to lie on their reviews! :-) Seriously...I am blown away by how friendly everyone was and will be sure to use their services for all my vehicles from now on! After getting scammed by NTB off of Hwy 249 (do not trust NTB! see my review) we took my car to Auto Check Elite. They had previously repaired my husband's Beemer and did a great job replacing the engine damaged by flood. Matthew, Alex, Chris and the whole team were very professional and friendly. They welcomed us and took great care of my '02 Mustang GT Coupe. In short order they diagnosed and fixed the problem, fixed what NTB screwed up, and suggested repair of an oil leak that we had learned to live with. All for a very fair price. Auto Check Elite returned my car running like almost new. They replaced the clutch (16 yrs/91k miles on original!), rotated and balanced the tires, and aligned the wheels correctly. To top it off she was sparkling clean, they buffed the haze out of the headlights and taillights, and man it sure is a joy driving my baby again. I've been having a few issues with my vehicle recently and I've tried other mechanic shop and they suggested a few possible issues it was having. Well I fixed the issues the said it might be and it didn't help. I decided I'm done trying small town mechanic shops and my friend Jessica works over at Auto Check Elite so I decided to go on a road trip to check it out. Man I'm glad I did. They were able to diagnose the problem, fix it and now my vehicle runs better than ever!! I plan on making auto check elite my #1 mechanic shop for all my vehicles maintenance. If I could give Auto Check Elite more than 5 stars I would! Being an older lady going to the mechanic shop is one of my least favorite ventures. Auto Check Elite was able to change my entire outlook on Repair Facilities though. I brought in my 2013 BMW for an oil change, there prices were very fair and with that oil change they gave me a complimentary multi-point inspection. I have never been treated with so much respect. I love the energy in the lobby, the fun cars you can snap a picture in, the energetic service advisers and the trustworthy mechanics. If you have a questions about anything they recommend they offer to walk you into the shop, show you exactly what's going on and why they recommend the repairs. I will never visit another repair facility again for any of my vehicles needs. I will go to Auto Check Elite over a dealership any day. I was referred to these guys from a Discount Tire tech because I had been having trouble with some bent studs on my rear tire. I have been to multiple mechanics and shops all over Houston/Katy for previous work and honestly haven't been able to trust any shop. As most of you, I feel they are likely just telling you anything to get more of your hard earned money. I can honestly say these guys have gained my trust and all my future business. Alex was the guy who helped me and he not only fixed my current issue with the tires, but he found out I had hydraulic fluid leaking on one of my shocks. Of course he would want my business, but he recommended I just take it to Toyota because it's still under warranty (less than 36k miles). My experience with Auto Check Elite was awesome. I am a senior and I dread auto service of any kind. I never know quite what to say or ask for. My son did help me in that area. When I dropped my car off they meet me as if we were old friends. They understood my needs and we're ready to get to work on my car. They were kind enough to give me a ride to the rental place. Khrystina called me several times with updates on my car! They even waved some of the charges because we had already purchased 2 new tires. When I picked up my car it was just beautiful! I first went to Auto Check Elite about two years ago. The trunk on my Acura wouldn't open. They could have sold me an expensive solenoid replacement, but it turned out to be just a shorted wire, which they fixed. I've been there three other times--twice with the Acura and once with my granddaughter's Honda. Their service has always been fast and competent. They are probably not as cheap as some shops, but if you want to drive a car for a while, you want good service on it. They give excellent service, well worth what they charge. One more thing I've got to mention. This is the cleanest, neatest shop I've ever seen. One gets the feeling you could eat off the floors and work benches. I was referred to Auto Check Elite by a family friend who takes his personal vehicles there. My first impression was WOW! The waiting room is very cool and interesting. Alex is my service representative, and from the first conversation I was made to feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. I was given a ride to work, and when the job couldn't be finished in one day I was provided with a very nice complimentary loaner car for several days. I was a moving advertisement for them, but that was okay. As a single woman it's hard to feel confident that I won't be taken advantage of in the auto repair department, but I don't feel that way here. I have never seen a more spectacular auto repair shop. Auto check elite will blow your mind! They are full of integrity, amazing customer service and the best lobby I've ever seen. The 2014 Morgan sitting in the lobby is a reason enough to stop by. The service advisors are more than happy to snap your picture sitting inside the Morgan. The service I recieved was far beyond what I had expected, I've never been treated so kindly from a mechanic shop. I will never go anywhere else for my cars needs. I had to have my car towed to Auto Check Elite to see if my flat tire could be repaired after having been at Costco (who said they couldn't fix it) and stripped 2 of the lug nuts and lied about what happened. Even though I arrived at the auto shop at 3:45 on a Saturday (their closing time is 4 pm) they insisted on taking care of me. Patching my tire, and leaving around 5 pm with an appointment to come back Monday morning to repair the lug nuts, they reserved a car for me so I could go to work. This is hands down the best auto shop I have every been to. It was recommended to me by a colleague after I mentioned that my Mustang was acting up. They did such a great job on my car that we have since brought our Honda Civic si and our Dodge Ram to be cared for as well. I brought in my 2015 Lexus RX350 for a seat repair, they were able to give me an estimate to replace the leather that was messed on the passenger side from a fragranced oil spill. They were able to fix the leather with OE material. My car looks great!! After they replaced the leather I asked about an oil change, they were able to advise me on the specific oil my luxury car called for and did a complimentary multi-point inspection. They advised me that my cabin air filter was getting a little dirty, I never knew how important that air filter was until one of the wonderful service advisors explained to me exactly what that filter does. I had a great experience at Auto Check Elite! I got in a car accident and they were wonderful to work with every step of the way. I worked with Khrystina and she communicated with me fully after each new development. They worked directly with my insurance company to handle payments, which made things easier on me. They offered to help with a rental car if I needed it as well. They were able to get my car repaired way faster than I anticipated (they said it would be done by the end of the week and I got it back on Wednesday!).
