Friendly, professional and honest. Came in on a Sunday for new break pads - they were extremely professional, quick and best estimate I received. Great value. Will definitely be back for future repairs. Thanks! read more

I turned my car in for smog check, they strongly recommended me to change the plugs and... I agreed with them to ensure my car was in good condition. But later, I was wondering why I needed those. So I searched my service records with Auto Nation Toyota and found that they just changed the plugs in the latest service which is less than 5 months. I showed them the document next day. They explained that they didn't do anything and reimbursed me those charges. read more

Took my dad's car in for a last minute smog check, and got great service! Was greeted at the door, waited in a peaceful outdoor waiting area, and was even offered lunch from the lunch they had just bought(shout-out to Preston)! The smog check total was at the low price they had advertised, and one of the mechanics even gave me a heads up on something else the car needed(which we already were aware of) so that was nice that it was confirmed. No pressure, just wanted us to be aware! Quick and honest job! read more

Super quick, easy, and cheap smog check. Owners are great to talk to and there are nice areas to sit and wait.

Brought my Toyota Tacoma for oil change and they were very quick, good job good pricing

Got in and out in about an hour for a smog check and a brake fluid flush. Prices are great, I tend to do my own service work on my car but will totally come back for when I don't feel like doing it myself. read more

I left after work at 5 and drove 30 minutes to this place. On the way my boss called and I got stuck talking to her so I parked next to their shop to finish the conversation. It just became 5:30 and it is advertised they close at 6. One of the mechanics came to my car opened the door and the first this he said was "come back tomorrow at 8 we are closed" I simply asked him why because I read online they close at 6. He proceeded to tell me "well if you get off your phone then maybe you would have gotten it done" I was so surprised and told him that is rude and all I need is a smog so I can register my new car. Then he did it but when I went inside to talk to the manager about how rude he was to me and how he opened my car which that in itself is um called for. He literally mumbled something's and was like "yeah I know" and I'll talk to him. While paying at the end the mechanic came up to me and said "you're not happy??" I'm assuming because the manager talked to him, and the manager had to tell him to go away. All of this for a 10 minute smog check 30 minutes before they close. 20/10 DO NOT recommend read more

I have a Jaguar XF and it needed brake service. They did a very good job with a reasonable price to change the pads and one axel rotor. I also had some noise in the front side while driving. They were able to diagnose the issue and changed the suspension part and now it is working very well. They have reasonable pricing and high-quality service. I highly recommend this place. read more

With a coupon from them ($28.75), which I had to pay. I took my car in for a smog check. It passed ALL the machine criteria, but they failed it on VISUAL INSPECTION. They said a Air input booth was cracked and wanted to charge me $170.00 to fix it. I inspected it and told them it wasn't cracked and was function properly. One week later I took my car to an SMOG ONLY station and showed them the failed test report. They said the visual inspection was bogus and my car PASSED. They will try to find anything visual so they can charge you to repair it. SCAM. read more

Family member recommended this place for a smog test, wait time is about 15mins if there's no one before you, they work on two cars I think at a time, so they gave me an eta of 30-45 mins, 3 people before me, so he recommended I go to Starbucks or somewhere nearby and come back in 45 mins, I came back in 40 and that's when then they just started working on my car. He pointed out other issues I haven't paid attention to, next oil service was not due until end of the month or 5k more miles but it was empty they offered oil service which I did, they also pointed out the rear brakes needs to be changed so I got a price quote but I ended up changing it at Brake Masters not too far from them. Check out the online coupons, saved me about $30 read more

I have taken my car a few times for smog check at this place. Their service is great and the owners are really nice. They normally check your car and if it needs some immediate attention in other areas they will definitely point them out without any pressure. I highly recommend them. read more

I called early today and talked to Mansur, i asked him if they're busy and told me to come at 2:30 pm. I arrived a little past 3 pm and took care of my needs. I came for a smog test and only took 15 - 20 minutes. Oh boy! That was fast and did an excellent job! Mansur is very kind and even offered water. He and his brother in law Mohammed are both pleasant. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I got a same day appointment for smog inspection. The service people were friendly and efficient. I would definitely go here again.

This smog check location is very dishonest and unprofessional. Please don't come here if you are looking for bad experiences. 1. They still charge you even when the smog check does not pass, or unable to be detected for testing. 2. They charge you twice the amount, and tells you that your next visit is free, when you did not pass this time. 3. They couldn't provide you the correct way to reset the OBDII, but just asked you to keep driving over 60 mph, and said some people had to drive for over 2,000 miles to reset the computer, before the smog check can be done. I wouldn't visit them ever again read more

If you need to fix your car, I suggest you go to Auto check Center in Irvine. They treat you as their own family and take care of your car with any kind of problems yet with a very good price. First time I've stop by in 2020 for a smog test and became a customer. Mohammad and Mansoor both are helpful and they communicate properly to get the job done as fast as they could. They don't push you to do something. They recommend you the work has to be done, and your the one who makes the final decision. I highly recommend them! read more

Very good service and very kind workers. Very good price for SMOG and quick. Recommend to everyone.

A+ rating. I had an older pre-95 car that required special Smog check using the dynamo. Completed successfully.

I've had our cars smogged four times now at Auto Check Center and every time the customer service has been excellent. The work is performed quickly and very reasonably. As soon as you come through the door you are waited on which I like. read more

Dependable service and reasonable prices. Very pleased with their work. I highly recommend Auto Check Center.

Excellent service, and fast with best price and value . Thank you Auto check center !

Quick service. This is the most affordable smog check that I was able to find in Irvine. They have coupons online. I walked in on a Tuesday at 11:15am and was quoted to be a 45 minutes wait. I was finished in 25 minutes. They did get busy while I was waiting and some people were asked to come back another time if they didn't want to wait an hour. read more

very good smoke service and price too. fast service, good to old customers. Thanks for the service read more

I just got my Mercedes smog check. It was quick and efficient. Good customer service!

My 2014 Dodge Challenger needed smog check, called them and they gave me a quote over the phone which was much less than others. Drove there, wait time was reasonable till a non English speaking or barely English speaking older employee came out to tell me he can not give me the certificate because there is a part in my car that was not installed by authorized dealer, therefore I had to go to dealer get an approval then come back. I have had this car for 10 years, with over 120k miles on it, never ever once anyone had told me this story, nor had an issue with getting my smog check passed. Then owner of business (I assume) got involved and started treating me like a 2nd class child explaining what the other said. They charged me $28.75 and asked for me to come back after I take my car to dealership and get them what they want then they will do a free smog check....Was speechless. I walked out of there fuming and made a promise to NEVER return to this place and notify others about these thieves that they suck you in with their low quotes, they do not perform any work and they take your money. BE AWARE PEOPLE...They are NOT THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR YOUR CAR. read more

I needed to get a smog check for my car. It was a Saturday in the rain and I didn't have an appointment. They took me right away and the price was very fair. The best part was that while I was waiting, they were playing Sinatra and the mechanics were singing along. Great entertainment. read more

We have been taking our cars here for smog checks for years! Just brought my dad in with his van for a smog check because he sold it and the service is just as good as ever. Yes, you might have to wait. But they will let you know approximately how long. We left and came back and the van was taken right in. They have a pleasant area outside to sit and wait while they do the testing. They usually have coupons available and you can't beat their price. But, better yet, they are fair! Not looking for an issue, which we appreciate. read more
