Tool they use to loosen your perfectly good valve.
Rick F.

SCAMMER - Make sure you check your hi and low side valve cores (just like a bicycle tube) before you go see them. After sitting in the lobby for 2 minutes he came in and said "I found your problem" and showed me my low side Schrader valve was slowly leaking. It was not leaking at all when my friend who is a top BMW mechanic at Penske North Scottsdale had his gauges on the day before. I was simply there for a system vacuum and proper recharge. My guess is they unscrew the valve just a bit so it will hiss and then charge you $20 to put in an unneeded replacement which is $2.99 at Autozone. He changed the valve price to $10 when I called him out on it. I should have made him re-tighten the original and punched him in the face but I'm a nice guy.

Presentation: Typical small dealer aesthetics. Product: One…read morecar that we asked to see didn't have an "available" key. One sold (still on website). Every car had a sticker price $1000s of dollars higher than internet listings (their site and 3rd party). Sales: Joseph was young, but seemed eager and genuine enough. I had an extremely disappointing experience attempting to purchase a Toyota Tundra from Carizona…read more I placed a $2,000 deposit based on how the vehicle was represented and then paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection. That inspection uncovered multiple problems that were not apparent from the listing, including a cracked dash screen, a tear in the rear seat that had been covered with duct tape, and significant cosmetic/body concerns. After receiving the inspection, I gave Carizona two reasonable options: repair the vehicle so it matched how it had been represented to me, or return my deposit. I documented multiple attempts to resolve the situation but did not receive a satisfactory response. What was particularly frustrating was discovering later that Carizona had apparently made repairs to the truck and relisted it. I was never contacted to tell me the repairs had been completed or given an opportunity to move forward with the purchase. I had to find the new listing myself. The truck was subsequently advertised at approximately $2,000 less than the price I had been dealing with--which essentially corresponds to the amount of my deposit. This experience ultimately cost me the $2,000 deposit, the cost of the independent inspection, additional expenses, and a significant amount of time trying to resolve the matter. The dispute is now the subject of pending litigation, so I will let the court determine the legal issues. My advice to anyone considering a vehicle here is simple: get an independent pre-purchase inspection before committing significant money, carefully document the vehicle's advertised condition, and keep copies of all communications. I would have much preferred for Carizona to simply communicate with me and resolve this professionally.
