The doctor was very professional yet friendly and personable, and he knew exactly what to do to fix my bite after a jaw surgery by someone else left a huge gap in my bite and eventually caused torturous TMJ pain. He knows how to treat TMJ and even does Botox injections to relieve the pain. Also the treatment has a much reduced pricetag compared to bite reconstruction with veneers! read more

My 95 year old mother accidentally dropped her upper dentures in the trash. I called Dr Carmona to see if we could get the upper dentures replaced ASAP. For over a year now I had posted a rave review for Dr Carmona. When my new dentures arrived and were placed in my mouth Dr. Carmona remarked as to how he wished the two front teeth had been longer. At the time I was just so happy to have a smile again that I didn't press the issue knowing that after nine months the dentures would have to be refitted anyway. At the nine month mark the dentures were relined and they became very comfortable to wear. However, the 1/8" gap in the front teeth was still there. At the one year mark I made an appointment to see what could be done for a fix. During all of those prior visits I felt Dr. Carmona was a gentle, caring and forth write man of his word but during that visit to get them fixed he became a totally different person and was in fact rather hostile toward me for questioning why the gap wouldn't be rectified by him as a part of the original procedure. In fact he tried to tell me I wasn't chewing right and began to manipulate my jaw in an aggressive manor (even having his assistant help) and telling me I needed to move my lower jaw forward more. Well, sorry Dr Carmona, that's not how my normal chewing process was when I first came to you and telling me that doesn't let you off the hook for a sub par performance. I will be looking into what legal recourse(s) may be available to me that would offset your opinion that if I want the dentures to fit right I will have to pay even more for that privilege. I do think his staff is one of some well intentioned and devoted folks. Moreover, he is pretty good at what he does. Just be aware of one important thing.............make sure he does it right the first time! read more

Sometimes, Dr. Carmona - you don't know who is sitting in your chair or the story behind why they are there. You treated me like a second class citizen, like a charity case that you didn't have time for. You actually laughed at me twice. Your ego is so large there was no room for us both in that dental lane. Let me just tell you that I am not a "cosmetic patient". I am the victim of an unfortunate disease that caused the loss of all of my teeth at a very early age. After nearly 30 dental procedures in ONE YEAR to try to save what was left of the shambles of my teeth - i gave up and paid more than $50,000 dollars to be able to chew food again and stop the infections that caused me multiple secondary problems. Despite my beautiful implants that I now enjoy - the cost has been an incredible hardship on my family and all of the trauma related to my MANY MANY MANY procedures has left me very uneasy and emotional when i sit in a dental chair. In my profession, as a Medical / Dental consultant - I have set up and consulted for more than 300 physicians, dentist, and oral surgeons with as much or more education than you and they treat me like a person, an intelligent, resourceful, valuable person. I just want you to remember one thing that the BEST doctors always do. The person in front of you is not always just a paycheck - they are a person with a real issue and you committed to helping them. Business is business and there were many many options for me to pay my bill to you, but I didn't even get a chance to explore that with you. You never even talked to me after you found out I didn't have the money immediately available. I'm sure that your "cosmetic patients" that are there are treated much differently than I was. But just a word of advice - bring your big self down a notch - even your cosmetic patients will find you more approachable if you would at least pretend to have an air of concern about one's well-being. read more

I recently had an implant break--on a front tooth, no less. The implant had been done years ago, by a dentist in Indiana, so going back to him wasn't an easy option. My dentist couldn't help me--she sent me to an oral surgeon. This gentleman (a very skilled oral surgeon at a major practice) took one look and said, "you need to see someone very special for this--let me call Dr. Carmona". Dr. Carmona altered his schedule, and saw me THAT DAY. Although the implant post had broken at the head, Dr. Carmona was able to remove it, SAVED and re-used my existing crown (saving me a considerable sum), and in an hour or so had me completely repaired and on my way home. Dr. Carmona is a credit to his profession, and will definitely be the first person I call, should I ever need another implant or have a difficult dental challenge. read more

If I was ever scared of the dentist... Not anymore!!! I found THE ONE!!! I've always been so scared of the dentist but Dr. Carmona is such a gentlemen and highly professional, since the first moment I got to the office, kindness and efficiency were all around, plus the office first impression is flawless starting up with the office decoration that is so classy and modern at the same time, following with Cory the front desk, the whole environment makes you feel so an ease for such stressful visit which is any dentist visit btw. Waiting was no more than 5 minutes when Roxana the assistant came out to get me and greeted me by my name, which made me feel even better since I'm always anxious at a dental office, and the fact that they were treating me soooooo kind was lowering the stress. While Roxana was setting me up by taking some X-rays, and getting the room ready for Dr. Carmona, I was looking at the office and it is so state of the art with everything so technological that so far I was loving it, then my X-rays were up on the screen and ready to go, as soon as everything was ready Dr. Carmona came in and he was so charismatic and easy going that I was even forgetting that I was at the most stressful place on earth for me, he did a full exam, checking every aspect of my mouth and even my TMJ which most dentist don't do, and so far it was being an incredible experience; plus he used laughing gas since I needed a couple of fillings and I barely felt that he was working on me.
