The work done by Dr. Deltorro was ok after my daughter got her braces removed. Not particularly impressive--according to other dental assistant friends that looked at it. I was trying to make her last appointment--was 2 years later and now they want to charge me extra $65. I tried to explain--we had college applications and online schooling. Well, I was very, very lucky, b/c he had been missing bad decay that my girls had accumulated over the years. What a wake-up call! Dr. Manshadi was incredibly patient and understanding with me and the girls (who were 4 and 7 at the time). He and his staff did a fantastic job with my very anxious 7 year old, who had 4 cavities filled and a tooth extraction. Not to mention a very anxious and guilt-ridden mother. The only problem we encountered was this: despite heroic efforts, he wasn't able to treat my 4 year old without GA; she was too squirmy. He tried repeatedly and didn't charge me, and was being responsible by "not starting something he couldn't finish". He suggested doing the procedure under general anesthesia, however we decided to see if someone with more experience could do it and found someone who was able. I don't blame him for this at all. As for the review where the person said Dr. M found lots of cavities and then another dentist said there were none, I would recommend a third opinion. In our case, the tooth that was extracted from my 7 year old was visibly in terrible shape (in fact, I had asked the prior dentist about what looked like decay to me and he said it was just discoloration!!!) and my 4 year old had to have an emergency crown put on her tooth during her procedure b/c the dentist showed me that the decay went down to the root (this wasn't visible on any xrays, only once they started drilling). I understand that no parent wants to hear this news and put their kid through the difficult procedures, but it's much better to catch it early. So, Dr. Manshadi has my complete trust. I think he is cautious and thorough, and handles even difficult patients with kindness and great care.

His bottom and top front teeth protrude badly at an angle after treatment was concluded. They are not at 90 degrees/straight up and down, as they should be. In addition, his bottom front teeth hit his top front teeth when he bites down and his top and bottom molars are not aligned. He is not happy with how he looks and now will not smile at all. After 2.5 years, the day he got his braces off should have been one of joy and pride, but instead he was crushed. The doctor told us that this was the best she could do. In hindsight, he clearly needed teeth removed in order to have a satisfactory result. This option should have been discussed with us before treatment began, so that we could understand the options and make a choice - either pull teeth and get front teeth at 90 degrees, or don't pull teeth and get front teeth that protrude like "buckteeth" at an angle. This was not discussed and the doctor made a bad judgment call. We paid nearly $7000 and lost 2.5 years because of all of this. We have since visited another orthodontist to understand what needs to be done to fix his teeth. The answer was exactly what we expected - he needs 4 premolars extracted in order to move those front teeth to an upright 90 degrees PLUS another 2 YEARS IN METAL BRACES. In addition, this has cost us another full orthodontic treatment fee, so the $7000 we paid this office was worthless. That a junior in high school is willing to go back into braces for an additional 2 years tells you how badly he hates the results of orthodontic treatment at this office. We have paid for and he will start his second set of braces with a different orthodontist in two weeks.

The staff is always wonderful. They are kind and welcoming. Since this was my first visit they did 3D scanning and took a few photos of my teeth. Once they were done I waited to discuss my plan with Dr. Da Silveria. She is very patient and friendly. She put the pictures of my teeth and the scan that they did on the wall and she went over a plan with me and explained everything. She answered all my questions. After our consultation I spoke with another person about payment. It is expensive but they offer payment plans. I look forward to seeing the results in the future.

They try to turn you away every time. My 18-yo daughter has a retainer broken and she went in for help today after school, something she did not want to do as it is. They told her it would $100 to take a look and she could get in in a few weeks, and then they would tell her how much to fix it. This is typical, and only when she goes in alone. With a parent they treat you a little better, but they don't make it easy. When we call to express our concerns, they could care less. We saw the positive reviews, but those can be trusted about as much as Amazon reviews. I'm not alone with these issues, so if you're a gambler this is the place for you.
