The staff was nice and helpful, but it was the only good thing about that office. My month is tough for many dentists because I have small teeth and I couldn't open my month wide in long period of time. I told Dr. Barbe the situation in the first appointment, and he told me he was confident to handle it. Well, it ended out that I had visit the office multiple times so that they could fix his mistakes during the procedures, which made a 3-visit root canal procedure became 6 visits. I lost quite some money on my paycheck by keeping taking time off for his mistakes. Dr. Barbe got frustrated very easy. He doesn't control his emotion well, which leads to unprofessional behaviors. He threw the instrument and walked away during one of my procedure because he couldn't get the teeth right. He didn't have patience to answer questions. I learned not to trust what he told me after the procedures because the office would always call me later and asked me to go back to redo the works. After my awful 6 times visit, I told myself that I will never go back again. To the end, I still have problem with my tooth which Dr. Barbe did the procedure on. But it is small enough that I think I can take my time finding a better dentist.

I understand he picked Dr. Pevzner to take over much like Dr. Edson's predecessor, Dr. Dave Jackson picked Dr. Edson. That worked for us last time as I wanted a conservative dentist who is interested in preserving what we have versus replacing too quickly. Before finding this office I had a dentist who told me I needed a number of crowns. Well 35 years later I am scheduled to get the last of those crowns. Most I didn't need for 10+ years! So I want a dentist who takes care of patients needs first over filing their coffers. I'm hoping Dr. Jackson chose Dr. Pevzner with this in mind. I have had my teeth cleaned and a cavity was found under a filling. I had it filled by Dr. Pevzner. It was the most painless - yes PAINLESS- procedure I've ever had. It seems like there is always some pain with the injection at least THERE WAS NONE! I didn't even know they did the injection! The doctor was concerned about how close the cavity was to the nerve..aughhhhh root canal possibility! He took it slow and easy and that was avoided. My tooth is filled and my bite is nice. I think this new doctor for me is going to work out!

I have had some discomfort with a molar. Not pain, but pressure when I chewed. It's only been in the last week or two that I've noticed it. Turned out I had a cavity under my crown. So after my cleaning, I went home for a little bit, and went back for the extraction. The little sucker didn't want to come out, but in the end, the dentist won that battle. I was numbed I think 3 times. Usually I can be pretty chill at the dentist, but this time I was crying, and extremely jittery. The assistant got me a blanket and rubbed my arm as the needle went in with the novocain. Once the numbing and needle part was over I was feeling a little more relaxed. It did take some tugging but it came out. I did see it after it was pulled out, molars are big, I can't believe it came out all in one piece. Happy it's over with. But this will be a long process of healing, and then an implant. They are saying about 6 months.

I found Dr. Evan John to be incredibly unprofessional and lacking in bedside manner. Further, he was not thorough and incredibly awkward, which only added to my anxiety. I have since learned (from social media, no less) that he is a brand new dentist, and maybe that explains it. Even other professionals I have spoken to have acknowledged that the bedside manner was inappropriate. I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt, I cannot excuse the experience I had. Dentist experience aside, the hygienist was fabulous, one of the best I've ever had, but it couldn't salvage the mess of my visit and the unnecessarily anxious aftermath.

Please save yourself time and money. Dr. Smith comes off arrogant, rude and unprofessional. He definitely did NOT take the time to discuss the option of having the others removed, the details of the procedure, and what levels of sedation are available. The way it was discussed was not thorough. After the visit I did look elsewhere, but because of timing I came back. Make sure you do not come back. Look elsewhere. The staff does not know how to schedule your appointment. Be careful. Theresa tries to get you in but the timing is off, the entire office is off and the experience will leave you in aww in the most WORST way! They do not check in with you to see how you are--- so don't expect a call back. Possibly the most rudest form of respect in the lowest way possible. If you plan on doing ANY sedation look elsewhere. Do not do it or you will regret it. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The procedure went well, I did not experience any pain or discomfort during and Mark and his team were professional and courteous. If you need dental work done, head here, you will be in good hands. Edit: It is now one week since the surgery. Marc used a local time released anesthetic on the extraction site and told me around day 3 there would be some pain. Day 1-3 there was almost no pain, on day 4 and 5 my jaw was a little tight but still very little pain, the surgery is now healed as far as I can tell and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you want an pain free extraction experience Marc is the guy to see!

Dr. Williamson operates a very smooth-running practice. Every staff interaction I had (front desk, nurses, techs) was excellent and you can tell there's just good teamwork going on here. I made a special request for my surgical operation and was super grateful that Dr. Williamson was willing to accommodate it. He and Sarah had excellent bedside manner during my operation - it went quick and painless. The recovery was (somewhat predictably) miserable for the first week. I had a few questions about the discomfort I was experiencing and was so appreciative of the staff that went out of their way to proactively check in on me and get answers. They even reached out to Dr. Williamson about one issue on his day off which they didn't have to do. Just had my post-op today follow-up today, a couple weeks later, and everything is in great shape. Despite the challenges in recovery so grateful to have this out of the way and gums that are good to go (as Dr. Williamson put it) for life! Though the office will still bill insurance for you, I could have saved some money working with an in-network provider. However, I think this operation in particular benefits from Dr. Williamson's wealth of experience - my understanding is there's a lot of nuances in sourcing and shaping graft tissue. He promised me he would also "shave" my chin bone down as he was also certified in cosmetic surgery. The actual day before surgery, we met at his office and he proceeded to tell me that he will not be shaving down the chin bone with no explanation. My only guess is the $$$ (we paid in cash). Also, he let me know that I would not be the in ICU (as discussed previously), but in day surgery. I wasn't prepared to how severe the surgery was and all the recovery it took. I had two young children at the time. My face looks worse and I still have problems with my jaw. I am reminded every day I look in the mirror. I wish I had researched and found a more reputable oral surgeon at the time.
