I have seen Dr. Cain for Botox to relieve my TMJ. My son recently saw Dr. Cain to have his wisdom teeth removed. We go to had a great experience. The office seems good about not having you wait a long time in the waiting room. Dr. Cain is very personable and professional. He goes through all questions and takes his time to make sure you feel educated and at ease about your treatment. Our 18 year son even mentioned to us that Dr. Cain has a great personality. The assistants are very kind and friendly. The office is immaculate and very inviting. No one really enjoys dental treatment but if you have to have your wisdom teeth removed or any other oral surgery procedures I would highly recommend Dr. Cain with Austin Oral Surgery! read more

Dr. Leland and his staff are absolutely incredible! I was riddled with anxiety to have my lower wisdom teeth removed and I could not have asked for a better experience! Within five minutes of walking in the door for my procedure (and before I could rationalize why I could leave if I wanted to), they brought me back and started gas to ease my nerves. Less then five minutes after that (again, leaving me no time to overthink/panic/run screaming from the fire exit), they started my IV and it was lights out. Dr. Leland also suffered through nervous ramblings about the bowel movement I just had because of the nerves and a nightmare I had about his hands being too big (I have a child's size mouth) so he performed the surgery with tiny hands on the each of his fingers. Yes, anxiety is real and he graciously ended by ridiculous rant by putting me to sleep. As an adult who REALLY struggled to do this very adult thing - I could not have asked for a better, more caring, 'we get you girl' experience. The world of healthcare needs more Dr. Leland(s). 10/10. This is my second five star for review for Dr. Jeremy Leland and Austin Oral Maxillofacial Surgery . I had cracked a tooth and my dentist referred my again to Dr. Leland for an extraction and implant. Being familiar with the first experience with Dr. Leland and his excellent staff I knew that Dr. Leland would do an outstanding job on this procedure. This is the day after the surgery , absolutely no pain , have not had to take any Tylenol, Advil . I can not say enough about how great Dr. Leland and his staff are. They always fully explain the procedure , and will answer any questions you may have. He will always be my go to Oral Surgeon if I need any other procedures. I saw dr Jeremy Leland from this location. He also works at a new temple office. I had one wisdom tooth removed. The only one bothering me, and the only one I want to pay for at the moment. Dr Leland has continued to try and school me on why I should just get all four done at once. The dentist in general make me nervous as well as having to be put under anesthesia. The doctor never tried to calm my nerves or reassure me in anyway. More just trying to rush the procedure so he can get me out of the way. Once it was over three days later I'm still experiencing so much pain I'm in tears. No empathy what's so ever is shown. He again reminds me why I should have removed all four wisdom teeth at once and why it's best to get wisdom teeth removed in your 20s instead of my 30s like myself. Needless to say I will be finding a different surgeon If I ever need more work done. read more

As a kid I only went to the dentist when my teeth were hurting which caused a big dental phobia. Just walking into a dentist makes me anxiety sky rocket. I went in for a consultation and Dr. Cain ended up extracting my teeth then. Wasn't expecting that at all, but I think he knew I'd prolong the visit even longer if I had left that day. I had 4 teeth that needed to be extracted and I was sedated via IV. Dr Cain said since I have anxiety once hooked up to the machines I'd probably be pretty anxious, then he'd come hook the IV up and it'd be over. Of course easier said than done to my brain. I was in the room and getting hooked up and he was right my anxiety was getting pretty bad. He put the IV in and I had a slight panic cause I was not getting sleepy immediately.. thanks anxiety. Probably 2 seconds after thinking that it definitely kicked in and next thing I know I was in the recovery room. The entire thing from getting hooked up to the machines to recovery room was probably about 30 minutes total and honestly the best experience I've ever had with a dentist.. definitely because I was sedated but he was also super kind and told me exactly what would happen, even when putting the IV in. The ladies up front were very nice, they let you keep the pen which probably will seem silly to a future person reading this review but we're in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic and something as small as that helps! Had to fill out some forms about covid which helped me feel safe. Jessica was the tech and she was super nice also! Definitely recommend coming here if you need any dental surgeries done! read more

I went to Austin Oral Surgery to have two teeth pulled which I was very nervous about and I had been in pain for months. From the moment I walked into the office, i was treated with friendlines, courtesy and respect. Everyone at the Georgetown AOS was wonderful to me and so helpful! Then when I met Dr. William Cain, I was blown away by his awesome personality and sense of humor. He was so kind and reassuring and really helped to put me at ease about my procedure. He was able to take care of my problem the same day as my consultation. When he pulled my two teeth, Dr. Cain and his wonderful assistant were so accommodating and made sure that I was comfortabl. He pulled my teeth so quickly. I don't even think it took 5 minutes once the novacaine set in. I was amazed. When my procedure was over, I honestly didn't want to leave yet because I was having so much fun talking and laughing with the wonderful staff! I would tell any of my friends and family that Austin Oral Surgery in Georgetown is the perfect example of how that sort of business should be run and I would refer anyone there. My 15 year old got his braces off and was told he needed his wisdom teeth out on a Tuesday, just two weeks before Winter break. On the recommendation of a friend, I called the Georgetown office and got a consultation appointment with Dr. Leland that Thursday. To my surprise, they were able to get us a surgery date during the break, so that my son would have plenty of time to recover. Dr. Leland was great to work with. He explained the process thoroughly, spent time after procedure telling us what to expect for recovery and made sure we had an after hours number since it was the Friday before Christmas. I came here to get 2 wisdom teeth removed. They scanned my mouth, explained why I should have all 4 pulled. I agreed, but they saw on the scan I had a salivary gland stone, good size, lodged in there pretty good. After a quick consult and feeling the inside of my mouth, I was told they would be able to remove it as well. They saved me making an appointment and another surgery. Also, saved me lots of money in that aspect as well. All the staff had great spirit and easy to talk to. They squashed all my fears and got me in and out within a couple hours. Lets all face it, going to a dentist is scary even for me being a 33 year old man, but they explained everything and made me comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better visit. read more

I had to use these folks to have a broken decayed tooth extracted and the doctor was super super friendly he pointed out a couple things I wasn't concerned with that I need to have checked out Sandra Brown with the patient service team was super nice she's the one that took my call scheduled everything and made sure I knew everything I needed to bring for my appointment so I called them at 8 AM and they were able to have me scheduled for a 1 PM appointment same day service these people seriously did a wonderful job with the extraction of my tooth I've had a bad dental experience before and Dr. William C Cane DDS has a gift for pulling teeth he was able to remove my broken decayed tooth without even breaking it I would Seriously recommend this ortho surgeon to everybody I would say the only negative I had from this was that they weren't in my insurance network but it was definitely worth the cost for the level of care I received, thank y'all from the bottom of my gums because my oral nightmare is not a nightmare any more read more

I was referred to Dr. Leland by my dentist for some minor surgery, removing some overgrown tissue making it tough for my back teeth to stay healthy. After looking at other Yelp reviews I decided to give them a try, and couldn't be happier that I did! Their office is in Georgetown, which yes is a bit far, but well worth it. The staff was very easy to work with in scheduling my appointments, and using my coverage to figure out what the cost would be. They explained the different ways I could get the procedure done with numbing meds or getting knocked out. They took some X-rays to follow up with the referral and Dr. Leland made his own confirmations of what should be done. They prescribed my antibiotic / pain relievers then so I could fill them before my surgery, which was great. They also gave me some literature on the options for the surgery as well. Everything went great the day of, and I was really satisfied to how attentive they stayed during the operation, and if I was having any pain. Dr. Leland was professional, and efficient, which anyone could appreciate when having that kind of work done, hehe. Afterwards they gave me some supplies, more information about what to do post op, and made sure to explain everything to me. The followup went great as well. I certainly am not expecting to do any more surgery like that, but if I ever do have problems in the future, I know I'll go back there. Without any reservations. read more

Absolutely amazing people! My son suffered a traumatic injury to his mouth last weekend from a line drive baseball - with 2 teeth broken at the base and some facial fractures/hematoma. After a horrible morning experience with a chain dentist location who had no idea what he was doing and told us to come back in 2 weeks, we called Austin Oral Maxillofacial Georgetown office around lunch time for help since we knew my son needed to be seen immediately (Dell Children's ER stressed to get to a dentist first thing Monday). The front office staff knew immediately he needed to be seen that day and got us in even though they were booked for weeks. We saw Dr. William Cain who was amazing. He didn't just look at my son's teeth and mouth but also pulled up the CT Scan from Dell to review the hematoma. He checked my son's injuries out in detail physically and on the scans. He then took the time to explain what to expect on procedures and treatment options. He got us in immediately with a pediatric dentist and Endodontist (my son needed some procedures immediately to minimize infection, long term risk and pain). Myself and my 12 year old son both felt so reassured and optimistic after seeing Dr. Cain. This is HUGE for a 12 yr old boy with a major mouth injury. Dr. Cain's staff is amazing as well.
