I don't know what everyone is saying about this Groupon being fake but it wasn't fake for me when I got it back in December lol Janet is so good and really sweet. She's really precise with everything and tries to make it the least painful experience. She overbooked for my first time so she added 2 extra areas at no charge and was really apologetic. If I have a problem or any concerns, she addresses them in full where I won't have any worries. Will prob continue with Janet after my Groupon expires. read more

JANET was/is so HOSTILE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I had an additional service added to my original laser treatment and had nothing but a BAD experience with her. She was so rude in her text messages (pick up the phone) to me when asking simple questions. I've had to wait for over 20 minutes at one appointment and had to leave. I canceled an appointment in advance and never heard from anyone. Called the same day to confirm cancellation and as a "courtesy" they didn't charge me a fee! In making an attempt to understand the new treatment services and schedule coordination, she was so defensive and hid behind text. Not good customer service. I called her to TALK as oppose to text and her text response back was I NOW have a credit back from Groupon for her lack of communication and professionalism. read more

I don't usually leave bad reviews because I work in Marketing, but I am so disappointed with Janet. She completely ghosted me when I had 3 or 4 sessions left. I started as a groupon, but bought 2 more large services. Janet is extremely hard to get ahold of, hasn't responded to a single text or call in the last 3 months!!! Okay y'all, i bought a Groupon a couple months ago and when i finally decided to go for my consult, i COULD NOT find this place. I think that there's a glitch on the Google Maps app but it's right after the slaughter lane exit. Don't let the GPS send you down town. My experience here was very pleasent and jennet was extremely sweet and easy to talk to. It didn't hurt like i thought it was supposed to so that's a great bonus! I pre-purchased several sessions in advance for my wife and she has not been able to get in for any of them because no one will return her calls or answer the phone. Anytime someone does "accidentally" pick up the phone, they ask if they can call her back and never do. I have texted them asking for a refund, but get no reply. I have tried to call numerous times but get no answer. VERY FRUSTRATING! My next step is going to be to contact my attorney. Very dishonest practice. I've talked myself out of writing a negative review a few times now, as I'm in the service industry as well and I realize that things happen sometimes. But after several setbacks with Janet, I can not endorse her business. Firstly, it took an eternity to get setup with my first appointment. Once I finally got in and on a rotation, there wasn't one appointment (over about 9months) that she wasn't 20+ minutes late for. Usually more than that. I was no-showed a few months ago and again, it took forever for her to get back to me to get me back on her books. The crazy thing is that I had to reach out to her several times when she didn't show up, not the other way around. At some point she got a receptionist, which I thought would be very helpful since scheduling and contact was so amiss. I was wrong. I had to go out of town unexpectedly and would miss my upcoming appointment. I called the receptionist and left a message about needing to cancel. I got a call back the next day and confirmed on the phone that I would need to cancel and set up another appointment for the following weekend. When my original appointment time rolled around, I received phone call and a firm reprimand that I was no showing Janet and that there will be a charge. I cancelled my appointment 3 days ahead of time and had to calm them down to explain that to them. They 'waived' the 24 hour cancellation fee. Anyway, my appointment comes around, Janet is late as usual, but I am able to wait and get my service done. Yesterday I show up to my 10:00 am appointment 5 mins early. At 10:10 I text Janet to let her know I'm there (which I've had to do every other time) 10:20 rolls around and I call her office number that is on her door and leave a message. 10:25 I text Janet again and let her know that I will have to leave, as I need to get to work by 11:00. I've heard nothing at all back from this second no show and at this point, I'm not willing to give her anymore chances. It would be one thing if her services were great but after 9 months of laser treatments, I only have a very small reduction of hair. I can totally understand why there are so many reviews who think that this Groupon is fake because it's almost impossible to make contact. One of my coworkers had all of the same experiences as me but less patience to deal with the whole mess. For your future business, please Janet, be professional and timely. read more

I absolutely LOVE JANET! she is hard to get ahold of because she's popular and sweet, but I promise that it's worth it! I go out of my way to see her bc she does an amazing job. She's doing nearly full body (all the large areas) on me, and she makes me feel comfortable and cared for. She's the sweetest esthetician I know. I've done laser before, and it didn't quite complete so she's going over certain areas for me and I can already see a difference! My sister is wanting to go next and I can't wait to take her! For everyone saying it's fake or a scam - it's not! The main office is in Dallas, but they rent out a room at "Salons by JC". They just recently changed phones, which might be the reason some people have had a hard time getting in contact with them. But she is super nice and friendly, tries to make things as comfortable as possible, and works with you to get the most use out of your Groupon! The scheduling can be confusing since she writes it all down in a planner, but other than that i've never had a problem. She's awesome and i'm incredibly happy with the results after only a few treatments! read more

Janet is one of the kindest, most good-hearted people I have ever met. She is also very impressively knowledgable and experienced in her field. She works hard and works all day for her clients, so it can be tough sometimes to get in touch with her, but please be patient - it is so so worth it! She has her own studio so you have to call her by using the door pad and she will let you in. Just show up on time and you will see her within a few minutes.
