I have been a client of SkinEnvy for several years, but unfortunately the business acumen of their…read morestaff and quality of care for their clients has greatly declined as their best employees have moved on. I was a regular client of Olivia's. When she moved on, my appointment was abruptly canceled with little consideration for the inconvenience to me. When I was rescheduled, I was asked to come in at an earlier time that I had already explained I couldn't accommodate. And, just today, they asked me again to come in earlier at a time I can't accommodate. More recently, I booked a skincare consultation with Salma, hoping to receive a personalized treatment plan for dry, dull skin. Instead, the esthetician barely examined my skin before returning with an armful of expensive products. I was only able to sample one of them, and there was virtually no discussion of treatment options or facial services that might address my concerns. The entire appointment felt more like a sales pitch than a professional skincare consultation. As a longtime client, I expected thoughtful recommendations and a customized plan, not pressure to buy products and a poor attitude from someone one who is supposedly a licensed esthetician. I left feeling like my time wasn't valued and that customer care has taken a back seat to retail sales. Also, when I speak to someone at the front desk, I don't think it's too much to ask that they are professional with me but that wasn't the case today with Holly. Sadly, I can no longer recommend SkinEnvy based on the poor business acumen and unprofessionalism of the current staff.

I visited Texas Laser Academy to have my legs and underarms lasered. The first time I went, I was…read moreunable to receive service due to an issue that could have been spotted by a questionnaire in advance, obviating the need for me to drive there. The same thing happened the second time. The third time, I was given an iPad to fill out a form. I have a disability that makes it very difficult for me to type on an iPad or phone, so I asked for help with the form. The manager complained (in a very confrontational manner) that I did not fill out the form myself. I have never been treated that badly before or since. That manager is the only service person who has ever complained about my need for disability accommodations. When I suggested that all forms be sent to clients before the first visit, so problems could be noted and solved before clients had to drive to the studio, he became quite defensive. He showed no empathy. I have never been treated so badly by any service provider. I find it ironic that a manager at a school that teaches people to perform a service career would be so callous. My advice is that you consider driving up north to Austin's other laser school, where service is impeccable.

Up until I met with her, I communicated with Sherri. I have had laser hair removal in the past but never with a diode laser. The suction isn't uncomfortable at all, and the heat that follows isn't unbearable for the amount of time the laser needs to perform it's function. I particularly like that it can cover a larger area than other lasers I've experienced. I was in and out very quickly, so you can expect a small to medium area to take less than 45 minutes. I am so pleased with my entire experience that I cannot wait to continue my treatments with Prickly Spa, and tell my friends how great they are!

And that's crazy with how sensitive your skin gets pregnant. I've also had hormonal acne, dull skin, and clogged pores, and seeing her did a complete reset on my skin -- truly. She took the time to do all the extractions to really start clean, and the difference in texture is crazy. I'm a lifer now! Can't wait to see her next. Thank you, Tracy!

The woman who did my laser hair removal was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. I've been having laser hair removal for over 20 years, so I've had plenty of treatments to compare it to, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. She clearly knows what she's doing and took the time to explain everything, which made me feel completely comfortable and confident in the treatment. My nurse, Dorothy, who did my Botox, lip flip, and teeth whitening, was equally amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable from the beginning. I especially appreciated her input with my Botox because I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted or what would work best for me. She took the time to explain everything and steer me in the right direction, and I'm so glad I trusted her judgment. I've worked in medical spas myself and have been going to them since I was 18 (42 now) so I've had a lot of experiences over the years. I can honestly say this was by far the best experience I've ever had at a med spa. I was genuinely blown away by the professionalism, knowledge, bedside manner, and overall warmth of everyone I interacted with. The results do truly vary - I've been doing laser hair removal for about 2 years now (at a place before this and now for almost a year at this location). It is not a magic solution after X number of sessions to be totally hairless, it does require continued follow up. However, the results at ALS were apparent right away compared to the last place I was going, so they do have good equipment and technicians! Would recommend considering for your lasering needs.

They never told me I couldn't bring me 5 year old girl after 7 months someone told I pay a baby sitter 100 dollars to watch her . They change appts on me when I made and paid someone to watch her till this day I never even told them that each time. Someone quits the change my appt it costs me but that wasn't. The problem. Their customer service is a lie the truth comes out when things actually how you treat your customers? They said Sarah is no longer with us I said I " m I going to be seeing that mean lady again. They next thing I knew got this long email we terminating your relationship with us. I was like in the middle of my treatments ? I called them no answer nothing . I had questions about my refund which is not the point it's the ethics about what you say and what your business does. It seems like the owner has made enough money and when she is in a bad mood she just takes it out on the clients . Lost an employee lets fire the client because the client has no rights to ask if I am going to be seen by a dirty person who rushed me didn't get the areas covered that I paid for wasn't trained because I knew which areas are covered. It's like you go to eye surgery they take the wrong eye ball out? It's. It's a joke. They are nice and fake but when real situations hit they don't know how to handle it so the easiest thing is fire you and no businesses ethics I am sure they will change the name of the business soon because it's going down hill. They can't keep good employees if you don't treat your employees right just like Walmart you are replaceable well we are not at walmart . This is our face body and we have rights as patients but not here they own they can do what ever they wasn't to . So I would never recommend it. Because I don't like changing jumping bed to bed and my face and body means a lot to me and for them to just act based on emotions and them having a bad day is sickening. I am actually glad now that they fired me because I found a better place.. Just firing over nothing ruins your entire investment because your treatments are stopped without notice and to find an other place all that it's just a bad experience. I had written one before and the owner asked me to take it down but look what happened so it wasn't their first time of blunder. Don't go there they are unpredictable
