The office is modern with state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of products. The waiting area is comfortable with quality seating and a Keurig and bottled water. If this is your absolute last resort of a dermatology option, realize there's a 99% chance of dealing with a joke of a front-desk representative in every possible outreach to this firm. The entire WD team has been nothing but upfront with me about all bills and expenses, and the staff is truly incredible. I cannot sing their praises enough. From the consultant to reception to the nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgeon, Dr. Chike-Obi, everyone I've had the pleasure of interacting with has made me feel like I am in the very best of hands. Dr. Chike-Obi's team has also been extremely communicative. They have responded quickly to all of my emails, called in prescriptions I've requested same day, and one of the nurses, Nicole, even gave me her direct number so that I can conveniently call or text with any questions/concerns. I don't want to say I've been needy or high maintenance ... it is my body and a permanent procedure, so I should feel empowered to ask any and all questions that I have. But I certainly have reached out a lot, and I've been really pleased with the care and attention I've received. Most importantly, I am certain that the WD team is totally and completely dedicated to their clients' health and safety. I went in for my procedure, and when the team realized that I had a family history of malignant hyperthermia, they immediately reassessed and rescheduled my procedure to a date and time when every possible precaution could be taken on my behalf. Rob, my anesthesiologist, was so empathetic -- he answered all my questions and assured me that the new course of action would prevent any adverse reactions to the anesthesia and even make my recovery a bit easier. I've not yet had my surgery, but thanks to the WD team, I'll be going into it with very little worry. I feel confident that my procedure and the recovery process will be as pleasant as all my other interactions have been thus far. If you're looking for bargains or quick-turn procedures, this isn't your place. But personally, dermatological care and cosmetic work are not things I'd ever want a bargain on, nor would I ever want my care to be rushed. This is a top-notch practice. Of course your main concern for a physician is that they are the best at what the do. Top that off with an incredibly warm and caring personality? I hit the jackpot. And not just Dr. Fox...his entire staff. In addition to my initial WLE & SLNB (done by surgical oncologist) Dr. Fox has had to shave/burn some stuff off and cut some icky out...his work is flawless. For example, I have a 4 inch scar on my collar bone that was done nine months ago, and the scar is barely visible. He is the suture whisperer. :-) Cancer sucks. But when you are surrounded by an incredibly competent and compassionate team? Well, it is a little less sucky. (Yes, I realize I should write for Hallmark. "You help make things less sucky.")

Only after they receive the doctor referral will you be able to schedule an appt. I went to see him for a second opinion for a rash under both my armpits. His assistant evaluated the rash and answered my questions. He determined it was an allergic reaction and prescribed some steroidal cream. He did explain the steps he would take, which I greatly appreciated. $60 later, I find that the rash was ringworm and simple anti-fungal cream worked as suggested by a 4th doctor I went to see. The doctor is nice, attentive, and listened to my concerns. I guess he just misdiagnosed. Overall: 3 out of 5 as the scheduling is the biggest hassle overall (minus the misdiagnosis).

Don't be scared off by the location - parking couldn't be easier since the Capitol's parking garage is right across the street and free for under two hours.
