The staff are friendly and the owner, Henry, runs a good business. Their pedicure selections and polish varieties are quite good. It can be busy, so it is good if you plan on needing an appointment for a busy time to call ahead for a reservation. Three years ago, one of my horses stomped on my big right toe and destroyed the nail bed such that the nail does not grow correctly. Henry noticed and told me they could build an acrylic nail off of the bad nail and that it would look great and I would only have to replace the acrylic every two months. We'll, he was right and it looks amazing! I now have no worries about wearing sandals during the great weather months and sometimes the nail replacement has lasted three months or more. I had a gel manicure and a massage done by the same person, which probably tells you something. The gel manicure looks awful - I can paint my own nails with more skill. Some nails are lumpy and uneven and on others the polish doesn't even come all the way to the tip of the nail. I didn't notice it until I got out into the sunlight or I'd have asked for them to be redone, but I don't really want to go back. The massage itself was just OK, but there was no discussion of what would be used (typically a scented oil of your choice, in my experience) and the massage therapist employed some kind of lotion that smelled cheaply and VERY strongly of fruit. Very cloying and the opposite of pampering or relaxing. I ended up going home and showering to get it off ASAP. The spa itself is rather odd. It is clearly a converted office building. The massage rooms are separated by yellow cubicle walls and there are fluorescent lights on the ceiling (not in use, thankfully.) No one else was there during my visit, but I can't imagine relaxing if one of the other stalls had been in use. It is nicely decorated, but it was obviously done on a tight budget. The reception area looks and feels like a doctor's office with slightly better furniture, and this is where you sit to wait for your appointment. No fluffy robes or cucumber water here! To be fair, it seems like the right intentions are there and the staff I encountered were friendly. If there were other reviews on Yelp, I probably wouldn't post one as it is not my intention to bash them. But as a consumer I want a better experience for my money, so I cannot recommend it to others.

I was finally able to get in to see her today. (I had to reschedule and then she had to reschedule.) i wanted blonde highlights and she did such a great job with my hair. The price was right too! Whatever was on my head first, bothered my ode a bit. Hannah mixed honey and butter coloring. The highlights look great and she made my hair look wavy and cute with her pink flatiron. She said my hair was still healthy so I decided not to get a cut today. Next time I'll get highlights and a cut. The bathrooms are nice here. The salon is well lit. They have a downstairs for their non-hair services. The receptionists were super nice and the salon is very clean. I'm happy with the work Hannah did today and I can't wait to return.
