I had visited Aurora Borealis five times in June, Sept, and Nov 2019. I revisited on 1/18/25 to meet up with fellow Yelp Elite, Carol C for breakfast. This is a dining favorite for her and her family and a go to for business catered orders. I'm glad that this local indie had survived the pandemic and has also become a destination for live music and entertainment. Genuine upbeat and friendly service. Decent menu items to select from. Food came out in reasonable time and we were checked on by both wait staff covering the dining area. Even the general manager came by for a brief chat. We stayed there awhile, we could have ordered lunch, lol!

Interesting place. I ate at the bar. There is a music venue downstairs, which they allowed me to peek into. Lots of food options, from bar food to comfort food. I had their chicken pot pie and enjoyed it. The bar is basic. I didn't notice any fancy drink options, which is fine for me. I'll be back.

The food was pretty underwhelming but the service and prices were great. 50% off all burgers and whiskey on Wednesday!! Our server Nina was so kind and we'd return to this spot just for her! Emily said the gluten free bun was one of the best she's ever had. Really clean and updated on the inside. Would like to come back to see some live music but will probably just stick to drinking next time.

I learn how to do many different line dancing. It was a very great experience to have with my family.

Good food at decent prices at this neighborhood spot. I'm a fan of their all day Sunday happy hour and their Cobb Salad. I've eaten at the restaurant and have gotten orders to go, everyone is always pleasant. We have received wonderful service from the upbeat staff including Tory, Eva, Ryan (event bartender), Andy and Tara. On my most recent visit, I worked with Andy and Tara to see if they could make a dozen breakfast sandwiches for a work meeting. I have to say the obliging service is consistent throughout the entire staff.

Great food and drink! Service a bit confused but got it right in the end, random midday stop for lunch.

The cafe area is spacious and it had a nice display of chocolate that you could sample and choose from to be used in your drink. I had the mocha with Colombia chocolate. The drink tasted too strong and bitter for my taste, though. I don't think you could make it any less strong because Colombia chocolate seemed to be on the lower side of cacao percentage among other selections here. The bitterness could've also come from the espresso shots too. I prefer Spinnaker's mocha to the one here because Spinnaker's is not as bitter and more smooth. But if you prefer your chocolate more bitter and espresso stronger, you might like Cocoa Legato's mocha better. The place was giving good vibes, so I'd be happy to take friends and hang out and maybe I'll get a different kind of drink next time I'm here.

I have to look far and wide for anything like that in Seattle.(Still a native, so put down the pitch forks) Here it was. It was $25/person and my husband and I are trying to be prudent with money. It is very, very hard to save when you can't go out for less than $100 these days. I work in education so.... yeah. I thought we were late to the show so I asked for a discount on the cover. They said the band just started and they couldn't do that. I apologized and said I wasn't trying to haggle at all. The staff was very kind to us, even tho we were waffling. I've come to expect the cold front. The bartender who served me at the comedy show just before the Tavern refused to make any human contact. He just handled my cash and handed me my drink, like a robot. I still have warm blood pumping through my veins. Tractor Tavern was so warm and friendly. They gave us time to talk about it outside. We stepped outside. The music was percolating through the glass. I am a classic rock junkie. I took us back in. At the bar, I asked for a double. The bartender moved to the side to reveal a sign that said "no doubles". I laughed and apologized. He was kind and made a friendly joke. I seriously don't expect anyone to be nice to me anymore. I expect a chilly silence. This was so welcoming and warm. I wasn't treated like a jerk even tho some of my questions could warrant that response. They allowed me to be new and be human. The music was amazing. Let the children lose it. Let the children use it. Let all the children boogie. Thank you for keeping the human vibe alive and friendly. We will be back.

There's a good amount of seating in the platform area and a large open floor in the middle. A lot of people also stand/dance on the same platform as there's a lot of leeway for you to move between areas. I never really do coat check because I'm paranoid about not having my things on me, but the one here is easy and reliable. The only real issue was the photo booth which only worked for the first half hour or so. I'm assuming it ran out of film or something because at some point, it just kept taking people's money without taking any photos, which was brought up to the staff. This isn't necessarily on Showbox since the photo booth is provided by a vendor, but I would've appreciated an "out of order" sign. If this happens to you, you can visit the vendor's website and call for a refund!

I have come to the Innis Arden Clubhouse over the years since the 1990s for a variety of events…read moresuch as the annual Rummage Sale (conceptually similar to a garage sale), swim team events, meetings, community events, rentals and parties, and voting as both an attendee/participant and as a worker. When I was very young, we're talking about 5-6 years old, my parents came here to vote physically at the voting stations and turn in their ballots. This is where things got exciting as a kid. They gave us each thick paper (more like cardboard) ballots and the devices to punch our votes into the ballot, yeah none of the fill in the circle etiquette of today. Punching in our 'pretend' ballots was fun and perhaps the best part about voting at the Clubhouse was that we got to see our friends, neighbors, community members, and other people when we went to vote. Still view this as a better system than the impersonal absentee ballot and dropbox approach of modern times. Physical voting stations are a reminder that what one is voting for affects real people other than oneself and the communities we live in. In terms of layout, there is a kitchen, a larger room where tables and chairs can be set-up, a closet area, entry way, and restrooms. The Clubhouse is a large venue space with an outdoor patio with metal picnic tables on the backside facing a playground and a basketball court. The frontside of the Clubhouse faces the street. A large stone with "Innis Arden CLUBHOUSE" on it is visible from the road in front of the Clubhouse. Parking is shared with the adjacent pool, play area and field, and tennis courts so if there is a lot going on at these locations parking may be difficult to find which may mean needing to street park one's car a ways away and walk to the Clubhouse. I live about a third of a mile to half a mile from the Clubhouse depending on the route taken and have typically walked or arrived super early to park my car if coming during busy times.
