I visited Aura Restaurant on May 8th for my birthday dinner, and the first impression was wonderful. The ambiance is chic and elegant, the table setup felt formal, and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was truly one‑of‑a‑kind crafted by a Michelin‑starred chef, and every entrée had its own story and flavor profile.
There are, however, a few areas that need improvement. Our silverware had water spots, and both the wine and martini glasses were cloudy. The martinis were served about 3/4 full, and the wine pour felt more like a tasting portion than a standard serving. I was also charged twice for my martini $15 as listed on the menu, plus an unexpected $14 upcharge for using Ketel One, despite the menu stating the martini itself was $15. Management declined to correct the charge, which was disappointing and felt like false advertising.
Aura is still a new restaurant with great potential, and I hope they refine these details because the culinary experience itself is exceptional. read more
