I used the kiosk to place my order, found myself a seat and waited for my food to be brought out. While I was waiting for my food, I pulled out my laptop and got to work. My food showed up shortly just as I ordered it. I multitasked like the best of them. Typing away and then take a bite, this continued until my work was done, both with my actual work and the meal. What stuck out about this visit the most was how well the staff dealt with one difficult set of customers. A mom with three kids came in and they were doing their thing. When their food showed up the mom complained that her frozen drink was not frozen enough and requested it to be remade. Then one of the kids dropped their fries on the floor. The mom went to the counter and requested, or more like demanded, the fries be replaced. The staff dealing with this situation really should have received a raise for as swiftly as this was dealt with. Then having to clean up the mess afterwards.

Yesterday there was an individual yelling on his phone at a booth through my entire visit WITH NO FOOD OR DRINKS ON HIS TABLE. I calmly got up and moved myself across the dining room to another booth further away from the guy. During my meal I glanced over at him and he was now turned in his seat directly toward me and yelling at his phone, staring at me, and smiling ear to ear. This had gone from mere annoyance now to borderline harassment from my perspective. And the staff noticed my expression over this but said nothing to the guy. My money is just as green as that creep's (if he indeed *had* bought anything earlier). I deserve a quiet enjoyable visit for the prices this place charges today. But I felt like if I spoke up about this problem I would have been called a "racist" because the phone-yelling was in Spanish. The staff member who made eye contact with me did not look in the least bit approachable about it. This, because it's 2026 and paying customers have less rights than troublemakers depending on their color. There are plenty of other restaurants in the neighborhood where I can make my regular lunch stop. And in the restaurant business, regular customers are like gold. This McDonald's doesn't appreciate that fact so they just lost *this* potential regular.
