Steve's Hot Dogs is so much more than the name divulges! The menu includes hot dogs, brats,…read moreburgers, meatless dogs & burgers, mac & cheese, and chili. All of the above can be ordered with various fixins like bacon, veggies, sauces, jams, and several cheese choices. There's also soup, fries, onion rings, and other sides. You can't go wrong with the Silverback Gorilla Bowl--mac & cheese, bacon, and crispy fried onion--or the Figgy Stardust, which is a burger with fig jam, bacon, goat cheese, and balsamic glaze. Heck yeah it's messy, but they've got napkins! The best part of Steve's? It's a cool bar with good draft beer, cocktails, mocktails, and sodas and such, fantastic vibes, and awesome people. And the owners do great things in the community, so it feels good to drop some change there.

We were taking to-go as we had one more stop to make on the way home. He took our order at the counter and answered a few questions with ease and a great attitude. Beyond the chili cheese fries, I ordered a hot dog plain with a side of the smokey, pepper mustard I love. I took a bite of the hotdog before I put it away for my next days lunch. We tried the chili cheese fries, and they were really good. I like the chili and could order that on its own. We know Steve's has the best fries! Next time I will get my hotdog with fries and a cup of chili to eat and dunk the fries in!

It is VERY understandable that Blues City Deli has achieved a 5 star rating on Yelp. It was great…read more I read in my preview that the line to the counter is always there...but it moves quickly...and it is and does. I had to visit Blues City as I heard they have great Po Boys...and they do. I am used to having oysters or shrimp on a Po Boy. Not here. They are basically served with many versions of meat. I had the Benton Park Po Boy and it was incredible. The sandwich has ham, roast beef, turkey, provel, and is dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, pepperoncini, sweet red pepper sauce on french bread. My wife, being vegetarian had the Panino Fresco. It included mozzarella, provolone, dressed with homemade olive salad, tomato, onion & Italian vinegar oil on an Italian roll. This was the first time in 26 years that she finished the entire sandwich. I had a bite of hers, and it is easy to see why she she finished it. So good. I even bought a memorable t-shirt as I loved Blues City Deli. The female counter person was so friendly. She even wrote down three other restaurants to try while we were visiting St Louis. Blues City Deli is a can't miss place and if we are back in St. Louis...we will be back.

Great sandwiches, quick line and service. Sandwich was big enough to save other half for later…read more Perfect place to grab a bite before the brewery tour. Indoor and outdoor seating. We ate in our car, no spots available. Benton Park is up and coming.

This turned out to be a pretty darned awesome experience. We arrived early for our brewery tour,…read morewhich gave us a little extra time to explore. After I had already done some damage at the gift shop, it was casually suggested that we could hang out in the adjacent area and walk around with our beers in hand. That sounded like a fine idea, so we went for it. I decided to try something a little different from my usual go-to and ordered a Goose Island Full Pocket Pilsner. It was exactly what I needed - cold, crisp, and refreshing, with just the right balance of flavor to make it memorable without being overpowering. We wandered around, soaking in the atmosphere and chatting, beer in hand, feeling relaxed and perfectly content. Once I finished my drink, the timing lined up perfectly. It was time to head in for the actual brewery tour, and I was already in a great mood. The whole experience felt seamless and well-paced, like everything had been designed to make guests feel welcome and unrushed. It was a great way to kick off the evening.
