I give this 1 star due to unethical practices of Audiology Hearing Aid Center in Euless. In December 2024 I had met my deductible and OOP, so my insurance paid 100% of the billed allowable for my hearing aids. My insurance EOB said I owed zero. Audiology Hearing Aid Center tried to collect the difference in the amount they billed and what the insurance paid. It's called balance billing the patient and not legal Fast forward to today. I lost one of my hearing aids so I pulled out my paperwork from Audiology Hearing Aid Center to see what the replacement warranty is. Per the written document from them, the warranty is 3 years for damage or loss and the deductible is $500. I spoke to another provider today and found out the actual deductible with Signia for loss of a hearing aid is $400; not $500 and the warranty is 4 years, not 3. If you have insurance, only agree to pay what your insurance says you owe. read more

JOE Morales is by far the best audiologist I have ever found in the Fort Worth area. He made the extra effort for me and cleaned my current hearing aids that hadn't been serviced in more than two years. I've been to audiologists that didn't even clean my hearing aids for me. All they were interested in was selling me a new pair. I feel so lucky that I found this man because he really cares and doesn't push you into buying new hearing aids unless you want them. I resisted getting hearing aids, even though I needed them for years, due to vanity. When I finally caved, I went to a hearing aid chain that will remain nameless, because they quoted a $5K price and when I decided I could live without hearing aids, they called me back a few weeks later to say those same hearing aids were "on sale" for only $1,500! I ended up getting them and being VERY disappointed in their performance. Audiology Hearing Aid Center is a completely different experience!!! Let's back up a little bit though. Just before I met Joe Morales at Audiology Hearing Aid Center, I was looking for a new audiologist, after the dismal experience mentioned above. I found one very close to my home and knew the model & brand of hearing aids I wanted. That site was staffed by very nice people, who once again quoted $5K. They also said they'd test my hearing, adjust the hearing aids' equalization to compensate for my hearing loss and SEND ME HOME WITH A PAIR TO TRY FOR A FEW DAYS! I was prepared to pay much more than I had for in-ear hearing aids because I had read the sound quality was MUCH better with behind-the-earlobe hearing aids. I missed music sounding good. The downside of the audiologist near my home was they set the volume so loud that if my wife put ice cubes in a glass in the kitchen, it was painful for me sitting in the family room! When I mentioned this, they said that it just takes a while for my ears to adjust to the new hearing aids. Again, this audiologist will remain nameless. I found a website that showed a list of other audiologists that carried the hearing aids I wanted (Oticon More 1) and Audiology Hearing Aid Center was the closest to my home (although not as close as the place I'd just visited). I made an appointment via the website I had visited. When I went to Audiology Hearing Aid Center, I found the facility and the staff to be pleasant. After a short wait, Joe came out to greet me and ushered me into his office for the consultation and hearing test. He had a soundproof booth for the hearing test and the test seemed very thorough. Afterward, he asked about my previous hearing aids, which I showed him and asked what I liked and didn't like about them. Joe REALLY listened and said the Oticon hearing aids would be much better for music. Again, he sent me home with a pair to try AND THEY WERE WONDERFUL. I spent an entire evening listening to music on my high-end stereo which had hardly been used for years, due to the poor audio quality of my previous hearing aids. Even better, the price I paid for the Oticons was far less than I was quoted for the exact same product at the closer audiologist's office. It turns out part of their price was "unlimited office visits and supplies" during the warranty period. Audiology Hearing Aid Center does not include this, but the Oticon hearing aids are rechargeable (so I didn't need to constantly replace batteries) and they don't completely fill the ear canal (so I didn't need to constantly replace the ear wax guards). In other words, the "free office visits" the other audiologist included did not come close to making up for the much higher price. I've now had my Oticon More 1s for 1-1/2 years and am still very happy with them. I've had multiple appointments with Joe, more frequent at first and less frequently as time went on. Now, I am visiting about once a quarter with annual hearing tests and readjustment of the hearing aids to keep them effective as my hearing changes. Joe is always friendly and attentive. If I am not completely satisfied with any adjustments, he gets me back into the office ASAP and cheerfully adjusts them to my satisfaction. He remembers me by name, along with details about my life which we've discussed. If you're tired of being "patient number X," you'll love the friendliness of Audiology Hearing Aid Center and Joe. If you're at the point you need your first set of hearing aids, Joe is a wonderful audiologist and Audiology Hearing Aid Center is the place you should go. If you already have hearing aids and are not satisfied with them, visit Audiology Hearing Aid Center when you're ready to replace them and begin enjoying hearing things, like conversation and music, again. I was able to meet two objectives: 1- Listening to TV at reasonable volume 2- Able to hear an elderly couple Since I chose a base model aid, it could not stream to my android phone.(my only disappointment) Also recommended my neighbor to him! read more

He performed a complete assessment of my hearing abilities and we agreed on the best hearing aids for me. Joe also assisted my wife in removing a wax buildup in her ears.
